Surprise!
She’d been gone quite the long time now, considering the home she shared with Kozmotis and Emily was decently far away. Her assistant were only lucky she knew how to operate a variety of ships and smaller transportation means. But still, well, the only female assistant of the three, and not even human but a pooka was first to speak up, also the only one not looking all that uncomfortable.
"It shouldn’t be long now, today in fact, she went to the neighboring world for a certain stock very few other places have, medicines."The two men looked over to the large eared assistant then back to Kozmotis with mirrored nods.
Relying on that hopeful little notion, she was actually honestly on her way back now but Kozmotis didn’t need to know that yet.
"At least the Colonel didn’t prank you herself sir? She would have used glitter, or ink."
Well, at least she was doing something useful, chided in a small voice at the back of his mind. He shook his head, wondering why she couldn't have stayed and enjoy her vacation like everybody else - and maybe keep her assistants at bay.
Still, he couldn't be mad at her for doing her work. He grumbled something under his breath when mention of glitter and ink was made. A young daughter had made him rather knowledgable about how hard it could be to get glitter off his things as well as himself - after their last experiment, he'd found glitter in his hair for weeks.
"And that would have been terrible." He shooed them out with a wave of his hand. "You are all going back to your work. I expect you to be back here with Phoenix as soon as she returns."
