#look i’m just gonna say it. this was hot. #and it has NOTHING to do with the title#it’s that percy (unlike vax) is not particularly prone to stepping between vex and danger; he builds weapons and lets her defend herself #but the /moment/ she asks for his help. the moment she asks him to stand by her side and support her in a place where she’s vulnerable #he promises to do so and then he SHOWS THE FUCK UP WITH EVERYTHING HE’S GOT and does precisely that #percy hubris anger issues and disastrous decisions de rolo improbably revealed as a heartthrob who woulda guessed #anyway the only thing I take issue with here is that it was not his first act of love #his first act of love was when vex asked if she looked like she came from money #and the man for whom glib and clever words are as reliable a weapon as his guns could have reassured her by saying yes #but instead he said ‘no; you look too much like you’ and then proceeded to make it clear exactly how much he believed that was worth #I LOVE MY DISASTER SON OKAY #critical role #tag posts  (via @chamerionwrites)
