new tedious bag done i do like this one quite a bit but the next one will be fruit shaped
i love knitting socks and it does bother me when people tell me they are too beautiful to wear bc like. that is the point. im spending time making this thing to keep your feet warm and protected. yes my knitting is art but its also practical. yes it may wear out or rip but its a sock! they are meant to do that. all fabric wears out eventually and id rather someone wear holes in the objects i make and then throw them out when they are not useful as socks anymore then have them sit behind glass on display
snoopy of the day
do people post their knitting on tumblr? i hope they do!!! anyways, here's the 2 full jumpers I've made this year obsessed with both of them can't wait til it gets colder again and I can rock them
patterns both off ravelry and both free which is insane I'll reblog with links if I remember to lolzer
we definitely do post our knitting on tumblr. and these look so good. løbe the colours on the first one
looking for animal references on image searches has always kind of sucked but it's much worse after AI image generation technology has begun to actually past muster, which is why i always just go straight to inaturalist. can't recommend this highly enough. you get to both find out about niche species you've never even heard of and also see some really good photographs like this one

Green + yellow + orange is a highly underrated colour combo

This Dan Piraro comic always makes me cry.
I am drunk and on my way home walked past this truck that had pictures of fish on it and said ‘meat without feet’ I laughed so hardr
