I decided to try and see what the max was on the crabs.

At first, the little bastards are determined to get under my mouse. I've accidentally killed seven before I even hit 1K.

3K is when shit starting getting real. Only about 10-20 of them are moving at a time and the lag is noticeable.

5K only takes only 20 or 30 minutes, but my laptop battery has gone from 84% to 52%. The crabs have stopped moving altogether. The only sign that my computer is still working is the fresh crabs being summoned from nothingness to the hellscape that is my dashboard.

6K: At this point, the lag is so pronounced that I can click-click-click for a couple minutes, check work emails or go to the bathroom, and then come back to find the button still doggedly playing catch up, the count of crabs climbing inexorably upward.

8K: It's been almost an hour and I'm starting to doubt my ability to commit to this bit.
