okay so I was thinking about an Azutara Spiderman AU
shoutout to this fic: Number One Fan (5568 words) by Comicgeek20 for giving me the idea for the trope
Azutara AU: fan (Azula) x superhero (Katara)
-Aang and Sokka are pretty popularย
-Katara is less but she stays around them so sheโs kinda too
-Aang makes this new friend, the new blind girl he has to tutor
-Toph becomes immediately part of the gaang
-Also Katara is spidermanย
-Her and Sokka live with Kanna, Hakoda died in the war and Kya was killed by some criminals when Katara and Sokka were childrenย
-When Katara is bitten, she decides to get some fighting lessons bc she canโt survive like this
-So she go ask Suki, that runs a martial arts club (?) after school
-After that, Suki joins the group
-Sokka had a crush on Suki the year before but she never looked at him and so it never worked
-Then thereโs the Ozai Angels (+Zuko)
-Ty Lee is actually the real popular one
-Zuko and Azula are just famous bc of their dad
-But they are just really awkward
-And Mai sticks around Ty Lee, her girlfriendย
-So, when Sokka realizes to have a crush on Zuko, Aang takes the situation in his hands and organizes a group meeting after schoolย
-And so Katara and Azula meets
-Also Azula is not crazy, just awkward like her brotherย
-Katara finds her pretty and interesting
-Azula is already down BAD
-Months goes by and Katara learns how to be spider girlย ย
-But she hasnโt learnt how to combine her two lives
-So when she starts to call herself sick more often or shows up with bruises badly covered, Azula grows suspiciousย
-Bc sheโs the #1 fan of Spidergirl
-she has seen all of her important battlesย
-and she knows her, and also knows her friendย and sheโs not stupid
