First Friend:

It was a sensitive topic, one Miku still wasn’t sure about conversing so easily with others, but Tsubasa seemed as if she would handle it better than the others, despite how awkward it was. So when Chris didn’t respond to Tsubasa’s apology, it felt like a clear cut sign that she didn’t wish to speak on it…at least not now. And so, Miku kept the conversation going; after all, they originally came here to eat together, right?

“That sounds good. I wouldn’t mind giving it a try. I’m sure it’s good.” Miku offered with a smile, looking towards Tsubasa only for a few seconds, before glancing back towards Chris.

“Did you need help? Tsubasa-san and I could very well make the preparations go faster.”

   ♫ It did not take a fool to notice how troubled Chris was about this topic and how easy she took the chance to avoid the topic all together. Not wanting to brew up any sorts of problems to either of the girls, Tsubasa let this one slide and just go on with their evening as they had planned ♫

   ♫ “I have actually never tried this tea, but it sounds like something I would probably like. I wouldn’t mind having a cup to try it out” Give her time. Miku did not seem to be persuing the topic either, so the best course of action was to let it vanish into thin air ♫

   ♫ “I’m not sure how much I will be able to assist you, but I am here for you” This was something with double meaning. Maybe Chris will catch up on it, but it not, that’s alright as well “Kohinata and I will do anything to help you out” ♫

It was funny if she thought about it, Chris was a very simple creature but she had her little twists, the fancy and extravagant bathroom, and the tea’s that she knew far more about then anyone her age rightly should were the big ones, and both were actually thanks to Fine. The only thing she didn’t actually hate and regret about her time with the abusive mentor.

“Well tea is just boiling the water and letting it steep so.....it’s simple, but if you want to get the salad and dished up while I get the food out of the oven.....” This was really something special, something she worked hard on, it might not be the best meal but it was a nice big meal that was made from the heart. 

Still she caught the hint, but..... “Miku does help me.....a lot.....it’s thanks to her I can even touch someone without cringing......”

First Friend:

Making sure that everything was set, Miku smiled at Chris’ invitation, easily slipping in right in front of her. The water felt nice, and Miku, out of habit, leaned back ever so slightly against the older girl. “Hmm, yes.” Miku hummed lightly.

“If you mean us taking baths, we’ve been doing that since we were young.” To some extent. It depended on what Chris actually meant, or if she was asking about something specific.  “There’s no TV in our bathroom, of course, so it’s a bit different, haha.”

Well that made her blush a bit, it was a very guilty pleasure of hers even if she rarely used the actual television outside of watching things like ballets and the news, but it was something she liked. “Well I more meant the other thing we do....”

Honestly it felt.....right.....having Miku against her like this, leaning into her and just holding her....would it feel like that with Tsubasa too she wondered? Of course that thought made her cheeks flare so red she could swear she was a crimson nightlight. “N-not that you have to answer if you don’t want too!”

Pink Singer:

Seven more?! She’d known that this girl had been under Fine’s wing sometime after the White Orphanage facility fell to ruin during the Nephilim experiment, but she wouldn’t have guessed the sort of things drilled into her head in those years. That explains her exceptional grades, as per Kirika and Shirabe had blurted to her in awe.

“That’s not true, Chris.” The hand on her shoulder traveled down to give the other girl’s a reassuring squeeze. “Do you recall that time while we were still on opposing sides, when you were invited to sing on stage in school?” It was more encouraged than invited, but that was how Maria understood it with her limited knowledge. “I only heard it from the two girls, but everyone was captivated by your singing. They could feel your words conveyed to them through the song. I’m sure, the applause they gave at them end was from the heart, and I doubt any of them thought that you were wasting their time. You can bring joy to others as well. Of course, it might not seem the same, but there’s no need to be similar either.”

To the question Maria responded with widened eyes from surprise, then softened into a tender smile. “Of course, I’d love to! When do you prefer?”

“That.....” Her cheeks heated up rather quickly at mention of that, it was true but it was also just a school and the only ones who had been even relatively good before her had been Shirabe and Kirika after all. Still captivated seemed a bit much. She had always hated her song, that was the first time she sang without feeling that hate.........and now she enjoyed it but she still didn’t think she was very good. Of course self doubt was something you gained after years of being beaten down.

“You really think so......” Of course her own surprise was once again rekindled at that, she didn’t think any of them would actually want to sing with her. “I don’t....know really.....”

Tsu-chan:

Baka-tan:

“Uhm…” For a second, it looked as if Tsubasa was going to spill her own secret right then and there, but Chris didn’t seem to react…besides saying something about being a klutz. Hibiki lightly smiled, looking back towards Tsubasa as a way they dodged that awkward spilling secret. But she focused back on Chris.

Not as if training would be a huge problem, Hibiki simply felt bad for it ending up this way. She’ll take the idea to heart, however, and nodded as her answer. Instead, she focused on trying to help her towards the hospital but despite Tsubasa’s help, Chris chose to go home instead.

Hibiki felt a protest almost immediately but stopped once she mentioned using ‘the armor’. It took a few seconds for her to realize what she meant but once she did, she looked towards Tsubasa. “Taking her home won’t be too far out of the way right? It will be fine once we get her there.” Which sounded concerning when she said it out loud.

And now Chris seemed to be talking about something Tsubasa didn’t know. The blonde frowned. It was probably fair, though, to have no idea what her friends were talking about. Maybe it was Symphogear stuff.

“Yukine-san, if you’re uncomfortable, please let me know, okay? I know I’m probably not the best crutch…” Tsubasa offered. Would things really be okay when they got to Chris’s house? She hadn’t been there before, so she had no idea what was in there.

It seemed that there was some armor that would help the injured girl, but Tsubasa decided not to pry too much into what it was. That would probably be rude.

Well it was true enough but then without their support she wouldn’t be moving at all, uncomfortable? That was putting it lightly, but nothings he did right now would change that. “If I did that I wouldn’t stop complaining, it’s not like I can be comfortable right now after all.”

She sighed and shifted a bit, as much as she could at least. “Down the street and first right....luckily we aren’t far.” She knew Tsubasa hadn’t been there before of course, and she figured instructions would be needed. “Then up the stairs to the top floor and it’s on the left.”

First Friend:

“I am.” Miku said almost immediately, softly chuckling from the light tickling sensation of Chris’ finger. Hearing her being happy, even with something like this, was enough to boost her mood as well. With that, Miku took hold of Chris’ hands, gently pulling them away before carefully taking her shirt off, eventually moving her fingers unhook her own bra. 

“All right.” She stated as she neatly placed Chris’ clothes nearby. “I wouldn’t want the movie to be over before we have a chance to watch it.” That and to prevent the water from running over, so she made sure to turn that off as well before finishing up with her clothing.

She giggled a bit, yes she actually giggled, it was just too hard not to. She wasn’t really sure if she should be even happier or disappointed but she honestly didn’t care. Chris wiggled out of her own shorts and slid into the steaming water before spreading her legs and patting the empty spot in front of her for Miku to climb in and sit with her.

“Do you ever do things like this with Baka-tan?”

Tsubasa:

Baka-tan:

“S-Sorry.” She muttered again, helping Tsubasa stabilize Chris by pulling her up carefully on the other side. “We’ll just take her to the hospital!” She felt bad for injuring her, even more so in this state and troubling Tsubasa with it all, but—-

“Eh? Why would I need more training? I promise I won’t push you off anything, same for Tsubasa-chan!” No matter what, she didn’t mean to do it on purpose, and if she knew, maybe she could have directed Chris to be pushed elsewhere.

“Although, if you pushed me off something while we were fighting, I probably wouldn’t break anything,” Tsubasa pointed out, briefly forgetting that Chris did not know she was a magical girl. An extremely durable, flying magical girl.

“We can survive quite a bit, acutally. I may not look it, but I’ve survived explosions point-blank!” Out of context, this probably sounded weird. She knew Hibiki knew what she was talking about, so she found no problem in talking about this so casually.

Bonnet, however, remembered that Chris had yet to find out Tsubasa’s secret, and so she tensed up, likely restraining herself from telling her oblivious partner of this fact verbally.

Wasn’t that the point though? She needed more training so this didn’t happen again, contrary to what some might think she wasn’t angry just annoyed and hurting, after all how could she not be? “Exactly, you need to train so it doesn’t happen again baka-tan, I’m sure Tsubasa-san or Maria-san will be happy to help.”

It was actually getting a bit harder to focus, so what Tsubasa said was only half heard, something about falling and breaking? Why would she fall and break things? ”Are you a clutz or something like baka-tan?” 

Wait an explosion? Well they could too if they were in their gears, in fact if she was in the Nehushtan Armor she would actually heal very rapidly. “No not hospital....home....”

“Much as....as I hate using it.....the armor will be better Baka-tan.”

First Friend:

Her skin may be exposed, but she still felt warm, even more so in Chris’ embrace. It was something so simple that made her comfortable, and in Miku’s mind, she hoped the same for her. The simple fact that Chris (or technically they) have gotten to this point wasn’t something she initially believed would go over well, but perhaps she felt more pride in Chris than anything.

Miku gently teased her fingers around the edge of Chris’ shirt, her fingertips touching her skin and kept them there, choosing to speak instead. “Are you happy…Chris?” Technically, she meant in general and not only in this situation now. Was she happy with her life? Did she feel better around everyone? Perhaps it was a silly question, but she wanted to know.

Was she happy? Yes she was, she really was. “I am. How about you?” Her hands moved slowly along Miku’s stomach, just wandering a bit and tracing tiny circles along her naval, she was more then happy enough with the situation at least. Honestly she was happy overall, friends that cared and a lover that made her realize things could be pleasant instead of not. 

"We should finish getting undressed so we can watch the movie in the bath.” She laughed.

First Friend:

Miku expected Chris’ touch, but not in the way Chris actually did it. Instead of lifting her shirt, she felt her body being pulled in and groped, immediately causing Miku to flinch. Her hands fell out of her hair, the ribbon falling from her fingers. 

‘Right. White Day.’ “Th-Thank you.” She muttered, not sure why this got her flustered that quickly but she already assumed this was what Chris may have had in mind. So Miku casually placed a hand on the back of Chris’ head with a smile, further leaning into her. “Happy White day to you too.” She whispered back, her lips pecking her cheek.

Her reaction was better then she thought it would be, the way she dropped the ribbon and all but melted, normally the flinch would have bothered her but she knew it was just surprise in the way Chris had moved, that was her goal after all wasn’t it? And the kiss on her cheek, the way she melted into her, and that smile showed far more then the flinch ever could anyways.

Her eyes would close and her hands would shift, moving around to the clip in the front of Miku’s bra and opening it, shifting to pull both shirt and bra off together and toss them both into the hamper in the corner before just wrapping them around her again and holding her. 

She was sure what it might seem like to almost anyone, that her goal was sex after that grope, but it honestly wasn’t, her goal....was romance...pleasure.....just being with her, cuddling and happy. 

Not that she didn’t want to make love to Miku again however.

Kanade laughed at Chris’s reaction as well, deciding to play along with a dramatic bow.  “I couldn’t let my dearest down, after all!  I hope they’re just as good as the ones I so wrongly got you before.”

She couldn’t help it, her cheeks flared pink at the words and the actions, teasing or not Kanade really did have more charisma then anyone she knew. It was no wonder Tsubasa fell in love with her, Chris has only seen her charm for a few mintues and she’s already flustered beyond measure.

“W-w-w-w-well I d-didn’t say th-that getting t-them was w-w-w-w-wrong exactly!”

Pink Singer:

  “Wha—seventh?!” That was more than what she handled even with her mother tongue included into the list. Maria wanted to praise the girl, but words like ‘Impressive’ would be an understatement and insult of sorts to the efforts put into learning them, so the older girl remained silent instead.

  “I have faith in you that you’re able to achieve that much with your voice. You don’t have to be a ‘singer’ to make covers of songs, either. Anyone can take a shot at that, for it’s something that’s done out of love and passion rather than qualifications on its own.” It wasn’t everyday you’d hear Chris say she found something she enjoys or invests in as a past-time. And now that she knew, there simply was no way for Maria not to encourage her in exploring that avenue of songs. A hand rested on Chris’s shoulder in display of her support.

  “If it’s something you see yourself having fun with, then I’m sure you can do it.”

She didn’t really think much of it herself, “Yeah, I learned seven more after that too.” More like they were drilled into her head, but if there was anything about what happened with Fine that was good, well this was it. Not only because of the languages themselves but it was why Chris was as good as she was at studying, and why she always had straight A’s no matter how busy they were.

“Maybe not but I can’t bring joy to people the way you and Tsubasa-san can either.” It would be nice to be able to do that but she really didn’t think she could, if she could wouldn’t someone have asked her to sing on stage with them? Or wouldn’t SONG have asked her to be an idol as well? “I just don’t want to waste peoples time.”

That however made her wonder. “Would you like to sing with me sometime Maria-san?”

  ♫ Despite how close Chris and Tsubasa were getting right now, there was still something behind Tsubasa’s mind that was preventing her from getting too attached to people, but, things may change pretty soon. Sooner than what she thinks ♫

  ♫ Tsubasa could not help but smile as she took a chocolate in her hand and took a closer look at it “Honmei” She whispered mainly to herself. Handmade chocolate gifted to another person in valentines day… ♫

   ♫ She had to try it. Not only it was the right thing to do, she actually wanted to see how it tasted. Bringing it closer to her mouth, she took a bite of it and chew slowly to savor it. Maybe it was the fact that Chris had made them specifically for her, or maybe because this were great chocolates, but whatever it was, they were really good, and Tsubasa loved them ♫

   ♫ “You have outdone yourself” She complimented the girl with a small smile. She had to ask her. She had to do it now, or she would lose this chance forever “Chris. I need you to be honest with me please. The photo, the way you act when we are alone… the chocolates. Do you… do you like me?” She excluded the small conversation she had with Miku since she had no idea how Chris would react to it, but Jesus Tsubasa can be quite dense sometimes, wait did she just call her by her first name? ♫

If there was anything that could make her shut herself down faster then this, well she hadn’t found it. All of her insecurities came right to the forefront with that question. She didn’t say anything about her feelings after all, all she did was ask how she felt, and Chris.......Chris not only didn’t think she deserved it but she was terrified of the whole situation.

“N-no of course not....” A bold faced lie, but one that she was more comfortable saying then anything else, she couldn’t be hurt if she didn’t open herself up to it after all. “Y-you just deserve them...........S....en.....p......ai.”

No she couldn’t, she just couldn’t say it. Her mind was so full of self doubt and concernt that she didn’t even realize that she had used her first name for the first time......well since she had met her.

First Friend:

As she placed the towels near the sink, Miku took note of the movie beginningto play. At first, she was surprised, but recognized it after a minute or so. But instead of saying anything, Miku turned back towards Chris once she posed her question. On habit, she would have told her friend not to worry, but instead of turning her down Miku raised her hands to fiddle with the bow in her hair. 

“I wouldn’t want to trouble you, but I’d appreciate the help.” She kept her hands up in her hair as she took a glance back towards her with a smile. “Would you like for me to help you afterwards?”

She blushed and nodded, chewing her lip as she moved over to help the smaller girl out, or rather......to slide her hands under her shirt and around her waist, she didn’t actually take anything off though, instead she just kind of pulled her close against her chest and moved her hands to cup Miku’s own smaller under her shirt. 

It wasn’t as if there was any real secret to her actions at this point, if Miku hadn’t figured out she wanted to be romantic with her by now, well then Chris was far worse at this then even she thought she was. 

With her mouth right next to Miku’s ear she whispered. “Happy White day.” It might be a touch different then chocolates or any such but....it was more personal.

Baka-tan:

Hibiki let out a sigh of relief, a smile curling her lips. At least she was okay and Chris seemed okay too. The teenager made her way a bit closer, making sure to stick nearby just in case. But, the minute Chris mentioned something about her leg being broken, she felt her heart skip a beat. 

“Wh-What?! Didn’t you have your Gear on!?” Oh wait, did Tsubasa know about Chris and her relic? Did they even know each other? Wait, that’s not important–Chris really didn’t look that good.  “I’m sorry!” Though she meant this to them both. “You shouldn’t move, Chris-chan!” Then she looked towards Tsubasa. “You sure you’re okay? If so, do you think you could help me with Chris-chan?”

At least, nothing was broken, but unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for Chris. On the bright side, it probably could have been worse? Tsubasa probably broke her fall, like a tiny pillow. Enough dwelling on that though, Chris seriously needed some help!

“Yukine-san, could you please lean on me? I know with my size, it might be a little difficult, but I’ll try my best to help you walk…” Like a crutch, maybe. A really small crutch, but a crutch nonetheless. Tsubasa looked at the other girl in concern as she offered her a hand.

It was a good thing Tsubasa was tiny herself, it actually wasn’t too hard to put her arm around the girl and brace herself. “I had it on but my song drained me, it fell apart as I fell, I warned you I was using my final song.” Not the swansong but the strongest one she had outside of that, it always drained her to the extreme, that was part of why she only used it when she had them to distract the noise and it was absolutely needed.

“Well looks like I’ll be out of comission for a while......Baka-tan I’m pretty sure you’re going to have to take extra training after this.......”

"Guess it's a bit late for White Day, huh?" With a cheeky grin, Kanade slid a box of chocolates in front of Chris. "But hey, you wanted 'em."

“Oh my prince!” She laughed a bit, taking the chocolates happily. She did tease her about it after all.
