She's still in my dreams and I still go to text her when I see something she'd laugh at

all we ever hear and talk about are romantic breakups instead of friendship breakups. I still listen to the songs she sent me & eat the foods she made me try which I ended up liking. The thought of her still pops up in my head when I learn about something I'd wish to discuss with her.

sometimes I still see her contact when searching for someone else's in my phone and a mix of nostalgia and bitterness overcomes me because I can't change the words we've exchanged before we slammed the doors shut that lead into each of our lives. I can't change how it ended, I can't change anything, not even the fact that there is no simple answer about who's fault it was.
