kaneeka from scarlet hollow gets the skeptic character type so right. a lot of media where the supernatural is real the skeptics are written as like....?? unlikeable because they become mean to their other characters? If that makes sense. Kaneeka on the other hand despite her doubts still enjoys the hunt for things - is willing to accept proof of supernatural and still look for logical reasons first etc.
