This is way past overdue, but I finally did it! I cleaned up my fictionkin symbol!
I originally posted my take on a symbol for fictionkind almost a year ago, and it ended up getting a lot more eyes on it than I was expecting! After putting it off for way too long, I was recently encouraged to make SVG versions of the symbol, which led to me finally getting off my rear and doing something about it.
I've provided two different versions of the symbol, which are available as both PNGs and SVGs. These files are all free to use! Repost, reuse, remix, whatever. If you're fictionkin(d) and this symbol speaks to you, I encourage you to do whatever you want with the symbol.

And as ever: Don't take this as The Official Fictionkin Symbol! I just wanted to try my hand at a symbol for fictionkind that was meaningful to me and my identity, and it's sort of happenstance that others liked my idea as well. Please don't feel obligated to use it if you don't feel represented by it!

Maybe a bit of a niche one (clever critters may notice that I linked the official YouTube upload this time—it's not currently available on Spotify), but some of you out there might remember the Pokemon animation to this song from almost 10 years ago by MarlineAnimates. If you're Pokemon kin you should check it out, for history's sake at the very least, haha.
This song has always brought me a strong feeling of freedom, and now that I've rediscovered it, a sense of nostalgia too. A great and widely applicable pick for any therian or otherwise wild creature.

THERIANS: Man and Beast
THERIANTHROPES (aka therians) are a subculture of people who on some level identify as nonhuman animals. For example, a wold therian is a person. Who identifies as a wolf on some level.
Being a therian is generally considered to be something intrinsic and involuntary; we don’t choose to be therians or what animals we are.
Therians exist in all walks of life, come from all backgrounds and are all ages. There’s many explanations someone may give for what makes them a therian…

Not all therians are mammals like cats & dogs; they can be any genus and species, living or extinct.
They could also be a mythical creature (sometimes called theriomythic) or an animal species from pop culture (fictherian).

so popflex (fantastic activewear brand) had a massive sale recently, and me + my pack all pooled on shipping to buy something each. i haven't been in love with a lot of their stuff as someone who tends to dress a little more masc, but i got one of These and it's FANTASTIC for otter species euphoria. they have a long legged version as well in case shorts aren't your thing (and there's a black version too)
this is less of a recommendation—not sure when they'll be back in stock anyway—and more just me raving about how much i like this thing honestly lol. popflex is awesome quality though and if anything is within your budget and style i do highly recommend them haha
