Looking at the sheer amount of world leaders who are currently in their goddamn 70s, I resent the possibility that one day when I'm in my 60s these fuckers will still be holding on, 100 years old and living on 1 hp, but refusing to die because they ontologically refuse to do anything that might benefit other people.

My abortion was really one the most hated kind of abortion. I wasn't underage. I wasn't raped. I wasn't in medical need.

I got pregnant not through some fluke or 1 in a 100 contraceptive failure. I got pregnant because I was knowingly and willfully having unprotected sex. Out of wedlock too if that matters.

It was my own fault, I was being irresponsible because I knew I could always get an abortion if I got pregnant. My abortion was as close as it comes to 'using abortion as a contraceptive' as anti-choicers love to say.

I didn't abort it because my health was in danger or because I didn't have the ability to care for it or whatever else. I did it purely because I didn't want a child. I wanted sex and I didn't want to deal with any consequences from it.

There's no moral here. I don't feel bad about it whatsoever. I suffered no karmic consequences or punishment from god. My life is amazing. I want to rub this in the face of every conservative and anti-choicer. I did the terrible thing. I had an abortion for the most selfish of reasons and literally nothing happened. Suck it.

the poor never wanted to be exploited. but for about maybe half a century, enough of the poor were being exploited without really realizing it because at least they could afford a house and fairly abundant life. it was enough to make them feel they weren't actually being exploited. (and those with a bit more got to feel superior to those with a bit less, which also added to the illusion that they weren't being exploited.)

Babies don't misbehave, they just behave. There's no such thing as a baby being "bad" because they don't understand cause and effect at first and have no concept of others feelings for a while after they do learn that.

A baby is never doing something to upset you. They don't act up to piss you off. They act in the only way they know how, and yes, sometimes the behaviour they're drawn to isn't great! That's why you guide them and comfort.

It's okay to be mad, but you need to remind yourself of this or you'll become resentful. Babies don't misbehave.

using violence to liberate people from sweatshops, unsafe mines, and grinding poverty isn't the same as using violence to impose those things on people. the idea that violence is morally repugnant regardless of context is a belief that every oppressor throughout history would love for the oppressed to hold
