Same goes for enemy intelligence. Just because I take damage easier doesn't mean suddenly every enemy should be able to sense my presence from half a mile away through six buildings.

It appears that boredom lies behind the most creative ideas. That's why quarantine has produced some of the most entertaining activities. One of them is the Getty Museum challenge, that so many of you have already seen in our previous article here.
Narcissus taking a selfie is the ACTUAL best.
Painting recreations are my favorite thing to come out of quarantine.

Ahsoka Tano went from being a plucky twerp to being my absolute favorite force user in the franchise. Whether it's @ashleyeckstein or @rosariodawson, she's some of the best that Star Wars has to offer. #starwars #starwarsart #artistsofinstagram #procreate #procreateart #21draw #ahsokatano #togruta #clonewars #badbatch #starwarstheclonewars #themandalorian #jedi (at Mandalore) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ9_LmWA3pc/?utm_medium=tumblr

Good god ADHD is weird.
Today is my 32nd birthday. Last week I went backpacking and looked out over this beautiful lake and breathed what little fresh air there is to breathe at 11,000 feet. Just over that ridge on the other side of that lake is a place called the Warren Forks in the Hoover Wilderness. It’s a series of meadows and streams that lead to Tioga Pass. Two years ago I went over that ridge and backpacked by myself for a few days. It was beautiful and quiet. It was the first time I had been alone in the wilderness in my life. I had been secluded before, sure, but I don’t know of a single day in my life up to that point that I had ever been alone without any contact. Not just in the wilderness, but maybe at all. Now, two years later, I was up in those mountains again with some of my favorite people in the world. People I’ve been camping with for 20 years. People I’ll camp with for well over 20 more if I can help it. That’s who you should be traveling with. The ones you trust, the ones who have an extra snack on the trail, who will hold some of your gear and you hold some of theirs. So now, looking out at 32 (one of my favorite numbers btw), I realize that going alone just isn’t as great if you’re the only one who gets to see it all. So this year I’m going to try to be a lot more social than I have been in recent years. I miss a lot of people. And there’s a lot of world to see. “Be excellent to each other and party on dudes.” — Abraham Lincoln, San Dimas High School Address. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1j6GDYAaKQ/?igshid=69i3dz2o612q

It’s a strange feeling when someone is lost from the geek world. There’s a certain sense of connection you have that can’t quite be explained. In our 22nd episode, our friend Reid put it best: When you’re at a con, it’s like being in a room filled with thousands of potential new best friends. Our love of this lore and these stories comes from our desire to be greater, and sometimes our desire to be powerful. And sometimes... just better than we are. . Stan taught us through characters like The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and The Incredible Hulk that having power means struggling with how to use it. How to control not just your abilities but yourself as well. He pushed for those lessons even if it sometimes meant challenging the Comics Code of Authority themselves. And through those lessons and stories that he and his artists came together to make using his “Marvel Method,” we found common ground with so many of our best friends. Bryan and I really became close friends because of our love of Marvel comics. Stan Lee is unquestionably a part of our story. . My first ever day in Comic-Con, Stan Lee had surprised by showing up unannounced. He led us all in shouting “Excelsior” together. The man loved what he did and loved his fans and Marvel fans with such vigor. Stan Lee, at age 95, has passed away. His legacy of enthusiasm, spunk, and child-like wonder are some of the primary examples of what it means to be a fan of something geeky. . Rest In Peace Stan the Man. And thanks. https://www.instagram.com/p/BqF6XJQAFKD/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1nkjuqlby4wt3
Several months ago, @crfashionbook did a photo shoot with @KimKardashian on a little ranch property halfway to Ventura. @devinschiro called me up early that morning to come grab some gear and by the middle of the day, he had decided that I should be the one to conduct this interview. - - I’ve done a lot of interviews in the last year with @sneakygeekpodcast and various ad campaigns I’ve been involved in. Many of which have been with fairly high profile members of their respective industries. None of them, however, have come close to the celebrity status of KKW. So, I bought an apple pie (at the request of production, I don’t just buy pies for people willy nilly), picked up some lighting equipment, and drove out anticipating a challenging interview with arbitrary rules and hierarchical structures in place on when I could and could not speak. - - What happened instead couldn’t be further from that. Instead, we had a relaxed enjoyable conversation with just myself and Kim. Kim is a kind, warm, badass woman with more poise than you can imagine. She is honest and humble with just a touch of sass. We talked of superstitions and how she felt being photographed in such a unique and modest way. She was candid about the little moments she and Kanye have when strange signs come into their lives. It was wonderful. - - The people from CR and her personal crew were all great to work with, and I got to walk away happy to know that even way up at the top, people are still just people, if they’re willing to stay kind and keep to their beliefs. - - Devin captured some beautiful footage of KKW and put together a beautiful video with his crazy talented vision, but me? I’m just glad I got to have a good conversation. - - Video by @devinschiro and myself (but mostly Devin) Video produced by @joshualanceglass Photographed by @jackie_nickerson Styled by @carineroitfeld Makeup by @makeupbymario Hair by @aakkishirakawa Casting @evelienjoos
Have you seen how gorgeous and regal my dog is? Look at her. She’s fabulous. Never mind that it took me fifteen tries to get a pic of her because she never stops moving. Forget how many times trying to get her attention just ended up with her trying to kiss my face. She’s great. Her name is Maisy and she’s just fabulous. https://www.instagram.com/p/BmHtApIBfu9/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4wt1yid2h2t0
A snippet of a new video out today for Haneri’s acoustic version of Feel Alright! - - This was originally supposed to be so simple but inspiration hit and it hit hard and the next thing I knew I was moving stuff all over a storage space at the Village Recorder. - - What’s wonderful about a video like this for me is that so much of the pre production process is problem solving. It makes the entire process feel like a puzzle that @drprofessorlirette and I had to overcome. I really feel like he and I bonded over tackling the many little obstacles that hit us and it was good to be able to do so under the patient and oh-so-trusting watchful eye of @itshaneri. She’s wonderful. You should go watch the video. You should go listen to her music. I’ll post a link to the video in my bio. Last month I was asked to come direct a short promo for @sweatpantsseries creator @monicaaben. - - Monica is an incredibly driven woman with immense talent and an even bigger heart. Her series promotes awareness and aid to the growing problem of youth homelessness while also promoting community, and sharing, and being open and honest with each other. - - I hope you’ll check out her pages and do what you can to help her out. Donations help to benefit @safeplaceforyouth, which is a very important part of Venice, CA, you should check them out too. Be kind to each other everyone. (at Venice, California)
