The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.

“He’s got the whole world in His hands”
Our God is amazing.
wow
I think I’ve posted it before, but it never hurts to remind ourselves that His love for us never fades.
I can’t give up. Not after what I’ve been through.

“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received a Spirit of adoption. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.“ - Romans 8:15-16
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Through Jesus, She Is: Provided For Day 24 Daily Verse: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:19 (NIV) Daily Devo: When the Apostle Paul thanked the Church of Philippi, he was reminding them of the times when they helped him in his need. God provided a way for Paul to be taken care of through the Church of Philippi, even when other groups didn’t see the importance of doing so. At times it can seem like nothing is coming through with where you are in your relationships, your job, finances, or school. But no matter what needs in your life seem like they are not being met right now, you have to remember this: God will provide in ways that you can’t even imagine. Sometimes we expect God to work in a certain way by giving us a certain opportunity or sending a certain person into our lives, but He might have something completely different planned. You might not see it today and you might not see it when you wake up tomorrow, but just know that God will provide for you. He will supply all of your needs. Daily Reading: Philippians 4, Psalm 23:1 Daily Challenge: Make a list of all that ways God has provided for you in the last 24 hours. Take a moment to thank Him for those things!
When I was little, my Sunday School teacher taught us a song about putting the devil in a box and smashing him to pieces. The kids would all get really into these inventive ways to smash the box. But the other verse was about keeping Jesus in a box. You’d take him out and love Him and kiss Him, and then put Him back in the box to keep in your pocket.
I don’t know about you but my God, the Creator of the universe, He doesn’t fit in my pocket. He doesn’t fit in my 15 minute devotion time. He doesn’t fit in Sunday morning sermons. He doesn’t fit into my favorite praise and worship song. He doesn’t fit into my church.
My God is limitless. My God overflows. My God can speak things into existence that are not. He brings life to things that are dead. He loves His enemies and died for me in my place just because He loves me.
I wonder what it would look like if everyone took their own limitations off of God and let Him love us in all the crazy ways He wants to. I think it’d be so beautiful.
I was at the store today focusing on building my social skills that have been severely neglected. Guess I concentrated too hard because when the cashier handed me my receipt and said, “Thank you!” I started to say, “You’re welcome”, realized that didn’t make sense halfway through, panicked and left.
Learning new things is fun. Tomorrow maybe I’ll even say the wrong thing all the way through so we can both laugh. :)
Verse of the day
I don’t want to ride on somebody else’s passion I don’t want to find that I’m just dry bones I want to burn with unquenchable fire Deep down inside see it coming alive

Our minds are constantly trying to bring God down to our level rather than letting him lift us into new levels of which we were not preciously capable.
