Hiatus.
Wow. This blog is a baby and I'm already on a hiatus.
My Clara muse is gone. I'll probably be back in like two days.
Til then, I'll let this blog sit before I do something rash like delete.

That Girl I Sat Beside Was Awful Cute ☆ closed ☆ bubblycontrolfreak
Sirius sat dumbfounded at his place at the table, his lips slightly parted in a grin. Oh my, what had he gotten himself into. He downed the rest of his orange juice and threw his bag over his shoulder, getting up after a minute or two.
She had left him actually speechless.
He couldn’t help but look at her as she walked away, searching his memory banks for some indication of who she was. He didn’t remember seeing her at all last year. Of course, he spent the majority of the time his 6th year chasing after Marlene McKinnon, so he didn’t really see anyone else.
He was definitely realizing the error of his ways now. This girl was beautiful.
Seeing that his mystery girl had taken one way up to the divination tower, he chose one of the ways the he and the Marauders had figured out a couple of years prior. He quickly scaled the alternate stairs and got to the same hallway his mystery did at nearly the same time.
The way she took, she would end up walking toward him, so he leaned up against wall at the top of his staircase, smirk already plastered on his face as he waited for her. For added effect, he took his wand out of his robes and created artificial stars — of course, Sirius’s namesake was up there.
"Well what about the stars in this meeting?" He said, fighting every instinct to grin like a child on Christmas. "I’m thinking they’re pretty aligned, seeing as we have Divination together," he quipped, bringing out his copy of Unfogging The Future, every few pages littered with dog-ears (hah.) and little bookmarks.
Clara couldn't help but burst into grins after a couple long moments passed just thinking about her latest encounter. She took her time going up the staircases, each aligning in the exact path she needed before she reached her floor in no time.
It was true, the girl hadn't had much time spent with Sirius Black over the past six years, but she had talked to him once. The memory was a bit hazy for her so she could only imagine how Sirius himself would react to her stirring this thought back up.
It was second year Potions and the professor was -- a term she would later coin -- a complete hard ass. He tended to raise his voice at students who messed up and those who did usually walked out of the chamber shaken.
Clara was good at Potions, incredibly talented actually, but it was an off day for her. Walking into class, her stomach bubbled with the suspicion that something sour would happen in the next hour. Sure enough, twenty minutes into conducting a Wiggenweld Potion, Clara added only four lionfish spines instead of five which the recipe called for and the whole concoction practically blew up in her face.
A few feet away she already began to hear the professor yelling and as he came up behind her, she bit her shaking lip and ran out into the hall for some privacy. Her actions were were dramatic but she was only a second year.
Hearing the door open a couple seconds after she sat against the wall, she buried her face in her hands before she heard a soft voice as a form of comfort. Peeking up she laughed as the boy in front of her called their professor an oaf.
"Sirius Black," he later introduced.
"Clara. Clara Oswald."
She wished she could say that she was surprised seeing Sirius against the wall as she made her way towards him, but Clara honestly couldn't. A smirk crawled onto her face as her long eyebrows both rose, cocking her hip a bit to the side.
"The stars surely are in your favour," she laughed after speaking in a spooky, misty tone. "My name is Clara. If you pay attention in class, maybe you'll learn the rest of it."
"Now do me a favour and pull down the door. I can never reach."
"Not pissed, I swear. Just had a bit too much.
I can walk just fine!"
"Whistling is just going t'bring the Daleks closer, hope you know that."
"-- I thought we were done going to church naked."
but imagine a footloose thread

"I’m sorry. The what?" Her head whipped around to make sure there weren’t any Daleks around her. "You’re telling me that this is an Asylum for the most irrational, hateful creatures of the universe, and you want me to stay calm. There is every reason to not stay calm. Now how do we get out of here?”
"-- Basically. Summed up, that's basically what it is."
Oswin knew that it was hard for the girl to realize the situation she was just thrown into. Hell, she herself was sometimes overwhelmed by the fact that she was trapped with not just Daleks but the nutters.
"That's exactly what I'm telling you because fear will only convert you faster."
Wrong thing to say.
"Still working on that. If you can get to me, I have a broken vortex manipulator."
❝What? I know that look. What is it?❞
"You had a family. You must've."
“I’m not sure. I mean, aren’t birds year long?” Jenny was still learning about everything. She was bound to make some mistakes now and then. But if that were the case, that just made this even more interesting.
“I think it was closeby,” she mused. She nodded, a small smile crossing her face. “I’m Jenny, by the way.”
"Well it is winter. The birds like to go someplace warmer, yeah?"
Something about this picture in front of her was very off but Clara decided best not to bring it up. Maybe after this bird business was done with.
"Clara," the brunette smiled, sticking out her hand for a shake before looking over her shoulder and trying to listen for any birds.
"C’mon shortstack. Let’s go plot out our next adventure." He grinned, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Oi. I'm not that short."
Yes she was.
"Any plans on the next adventure?"
”You do have a point there.”
"Cocktails?"
"You must be confusing me for the other me. Or you’re from my future. The question is, which is it."
"That depends. Who are you?"
"M’sorry, but I was working a case with Sherlock.
"Well isn't that peachy, John. You're out for three days straight -- except for coming home to sleep -- but it's alright because you're working a case with Sherlock Holmes."
"I haven’t even met you until just now."
"And thank stars I don't need to know you to feel your presence."
"It wasn’t my plan. I really need to start making my own plans.”
"-- And what? No chocolates or grovelling for my forgiveness? Supposed not."
"Uh… I don’t know any Angie. I’m the Doctor." He said with a smile. "I seem to be lost is all."
"In my house," she said slowly, watching him with a risen brow. "Alright. Doctor who?"
