Brad followed both his older brothers inside the house, as he looked around; covering his nose with his shirt he walked over to a window opening it in order to let some fresh air in.

Pest walked into the living room area starting to look for any furniture that could be spared.

Brad meanwhile wandered off into the kitchen, if he was handling the snacks he was making sure no other pests couldn't get into their future food storage

Think I will start with the snacks, of course; you two need to keep your strength up with constructing, while I relax in one of those luxurious sunbathing chairs and sip a cold bloxy cola!

There should be better, fresher air, which will do this old dusty place some good! But I fear everyone must take a shower after this…

"Alright. I'll keep an ear out for any furry enemies." (Gavin called out to the other two, keeping still and focusing on listening to his surroundings..)

(He walked slowly around.. listening to each noise that happened, ruling out whether it was from outside, Brad or Pest, or some animal inside.)

(He gave a nod to himself, ruling out the room he was in as critter-free. He then looked to the living room, approaching it.. he got a smug look, he knew the living room wouldnt be pest-free..)

Other than the noises of the two brothers searching through the two rooms, the normal sounds of nature was heard

Out of nowhere though his pet capybara snuck up on him; giving a quiet chirp

Oi Gavin! Can you come over here and help me lift this old couch? I swear I hid some riches under it!

Pest's voice called out from the living room; though it echoed easily in the old house

(Gavin gave a yelp, looking at his capybara.) "Nel?!"

"How did you.. augh, whatever." (He leaned down and pet them,) "Be careful."

(He rushed over to Pest, looking at the couch before grabbing it, tilting it over with some struggle.) "There- Please hurry up, this thing is HEAVY." (He visibly wobbled keeping it up to where it was possible to see under it.)

The capybara sleepily looked up at Gavin but seemed to nod in response as he sat down on the dusry floor to rest

Pest as quickly as he could snatched up the valubale belongings even if they turned out to be old comic books

Alright you can lower it now, just do it gently! We don't want anything breaking either the coich or the wooden floor...

Brad meanwhile walked in from the kitchen as he held a single bag of chips, seemingly everything else had expired

"Also, My capybara managed to find us.. kinda crazy."

"That all the kitchen had that was decent? Shocker! Who knew a old, dusty house would have practically nothing."

(He cackled, and smiled.)

Brad added as he set down the bag of chips on the table; as he looked around the room jeez they were gonna be busy with this for a few days

Pest looked towards Gavin seeing this as the perfect opportunity to prove that he was the "better" and "stronger" older brother.

Oh, is that so? Well then, let me take you up on that challenge! Brad will be the judge, but I bet you I will win by a landslide, and I'll be labelled the coolest big brother!

Pest stated as he puffed up his chest making himself look bigger and stronger, after all nobody could outrank him!

And if you back down, that means you'll be a coward and a loser! Proving my point without a fault that I am the winner!

Brad rolled his eyes, as he gave Gavin an apologetic look but he couldn't really do much here...

Ah, yeah, I guess pets have a habit of being able to find their owners easily.

Sadly, everything else was rotting and covered in maggots and other parasites, so we likely have to disinfect that fridge…

Oh, there was a pile of bug corpses seems like they had ironically starved to death or frozen, perhaps both. I don't know, most bugs don't have long lifespans…
