Pinned intro post
Wilkommen to my Chaillot residence. I am the (retired) General Jean-Baptiste Kleber, and this is the front-desk of my existence here on this hellsite ah, um, internet. This is a roleplay blog, and by no means should be taken seriously.
Here, in my home, you will occasionally find the following close friends of mine:
Francois Etienne de Damas: My most intimate friend and confidant, Etienne has been with me since 1793.
Francois August de Damas: Etienne's little brother, a man 20 years my junior. He aids Etienne in day to day affairs and is usually the first man one should contact if one wishes to correspond with me or my companions.
General Jean-Victor-Marie Moreau: Victor is here while his home in Passy undergoes some construction work supervised by my half-brother, Xavier.
Francois-Severin Marceau: Sev is here because he is. He was one of my closest companions and friends since the Vendee; I have recently found him in this afterlife and I am loath to release him. He will visit me from time to time, yet he has his own residence with his fiancee (oh? wife now? Wife then it is!) Agathe de Prestre-Chateaugiron; I am friends with her and her mother, the Countess.
There will be occasional visits from other friends from my merry band, such as Jean Baptiste Strolz and Francois de Beurrmann - two close companions of Etienne and members of the staff during my Rhine campaigns.
Of course, I cannot forget my dearest and closest companion, the woman of my heart, Madame DuQuay... now Madame Kleber. She is not from our afterlife, yet a living companion who has found her way across time to... soothe this old lion's roar. Unless I screw up. She scares me... Ah... um... yes, yes, well...
I shall not engage in any sort of questions in my ask box that are rude, insinuating, or otherwise vulgar concerning my companions or my wife.
You may ask me questions about my career, about my past, and other events in history with ease; do be aware that I am a man who does not suffer fools gladly and there are times poking the bear is not advisable.
Oh, and absolutely NO GLUE OR ADHESIVE JOKES. I KNOW WHAT MY NAME MEANS IN GERMAN AND THAT IS NOT COOL.
