The word ‘genius’ was once used to describe the creative muse, the essence of creative inspiration  We didn’t say, ‘you are a genius’, we would say ‘you have a genius’, the genius was a visitor from the divine who has found you and is using you as a channel for godly activity…. creativity… artistry… imagination… poetry… madness. They understood the genius to emanate from a source outside of the self, and displayed gratitude for its influence  They believed that they could see this genius as god through the eyes of artistic people creating with the colours of their soul, their spirit glowing, electric, radiant, illuminated as they designed, created, and conversed We didn’t find the genius with a high IQ. We watched the genius inspire mosaics

A simulation of a wave inside a stadium- a rectangle and two semicircles. Although it is a very simple shape, the wave function cannot be exactly solved and becomes chaotic. The simulation is actually computed on a rectangular grid of pixels as a cellular automaton- note the checkerboard patterns and pixelated edges. [more] [code]

So this’ll be a thing I’ll be doing from now on, on Sundays and Wednesdays. I have a ton of high resolution screenshots of various games that I’m probably never going to use again, so I figured I’d share them for other people to use for their studies and for their blog graphics!
