#walking with Ca$h (my 🐕) has proven to be my best #rehab post #vsgsurgery ... twice a day everyday! #guys Brisk walking comes with huge amounts of benifits, some include: less impact on my joints which prevents the likelihood of injury. The heart rate is raised to a steady state which causes great fat burning according to some studies. I am at phase 2 of my training, so it is important to tax the cardiovascular system as much as possible in order to improve fitness levels for the upcoming phases. Aerobic capacity is important for when I commence high intensity resistance training in phase 4. Based on my performance yesterday my coach @jaespry allowed me to increase range of motion and start loading compound movements.
