hey guys I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going on a permanent hiatus(as of now). I haven't been active at all lately and I don't think I can become as active as I used to be :( If you guys leave an ask, they will be answered eventually. I just wanted to say this bc I didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them!! Okay see I keep seeing people reblog this asking for receipts so here you go.

Also, the original post was just a rant that I didn’t expect to get so much attention so let me explain in further detail so you know what’s going on. Here’s what we know for sure:

Josh Duggar molested 5 girls, starting in 2002

After the first girl came forward, Josh Duggar admitted it to his parents who “disciplined him themselves”

After the second girl came forward, the Duggar family notified their church who allegedly sent him to a “Christian Counseling Program”

Michelle later claimed this never happened and his was just sent to live with a family member for four months.

After more accusations in 2003, Jim Bob Duggar and some church elders took Josh Duggar to the police station for a “stern talking to” from a state trooper.

Said state trooper was later convicted himself for child pornography charges

In 2006, the Duggar family was to be interviewed by Oprah who heard about the situation, causing a full blown police investigation to occur and the family lawyered up (it should be noted several lawyers went all “fuck no” to the case and wanted no part of it).

The statute of limitations has since expired, leaving Josh Duggar free from conviction.

Here’s just some in general horrifying information:

Jesus christ, watch the video, it’s heartbreaking…..their medical bills are OVER SIX MILLION DOLLARS. I can’t even imagine this…not doing anything wrong, just get hit by some piece of shit who was driving drunk and suddenly your entire life is ruined…dear god I can’t even imagine. [2] very similar actually and johnny saw that and thru the hard exterior. ponyboy says more than once that johnny was rly good at figuring ppl out) but didn't know how to deal with it. you always get hurt that way and he didn't want to be hurt more. also ia he rly did care for johnny and the gang (i wish we knew more about sylvia and him). i feel like he prob would have wished he WAS a psychopath because he didn't want to have feelings if that makes sense? :o i see myself a lot in him - friends[3] always describe me as a badass girl, tough and strong etc... and yet i'm rly the most sensitive of my friends and find lots of things rly hard. i came across yr headcanon for dallas about him having rly bad depression and tbh i'm so happy someone else thought the same because as someone who has clinical depression i recognized those signs in him too even down to his death (my best friend died yrs ago and i found it almost impossible to cope myself). when i was discussing it with others who read the book tho they laughed at me and said he was just a psychopath but imo makes no sense).

ahh they shouldn't of laughed because everyone is allowed to have their own headcanons! i read the book about 5 or 6 times(it's one of my absolute favorites) and I thought Dallas was portrayed depressed. as for a psychopath, idk. a psychopath is someone who lacks the feeling of love or lacks establishing relationships with other people(credz to dictionary.com for this def lol), but i feel as if dally loved johnny and his friends and hey he may of even loved Sylvia. who knows?? dally could of been this really soft guy, but society made him become hard, you never know!!In my opinion, a good writer leaves things out on purpose to leave the readers wondering and that's exactly what SE Hinton did!! I think both of these headcanons could be argued tbh. but when i read the book i didn't really see dally as a psycho, ig everyone portrays things differently and that's okay!!!
