Once you start noticing how the incapacity to handle discomfort affects how people live their lives it's actually pretty shocking how it ruins pretty much every conceivable aspect of existence. Just this horrific catastrophe people look at you askance for screaming about. As I grow older and see what became of my friends and peers who could not learn to handle discomfort, the more I'm like. This is a genuine societal issue

Hiiiiii :). I wanted to ask u about Ginro and Kohaku, Kinro and Chrome (if i’m reading that correctly) and Ginro and François. I must say that the chart has SO MANY interesting ships oh my gawd I have never seen this many gems in one place

Hiiiii thank you!! And sorry this took so long!! I wanted to do doodles for it but it’s currently crunch season so took a while... also I had to re-do this whole thing 3 times because tumblr trashed it… sobs.

Anyway:

Ginhaku:

^ this doodle alone sums up the dynamic pretty well.

For these two I was picturing a brief relationship in early adolescence, mostly because Kohaku wanted to give romance a try and Ginro was the least intimidating target (as in she expected him to be okay with ‘just dating/trying it out’ and to get over it pretty quick once they broke up). Helps that he’s a little scared of her.

Neither really had a crush on the other - Kohaku because I see her as aromantic (or something similar), and Ginro generally wanted to get with ‘a girl’, but probably would’ve preferred one of the 3 shiny sisters. Feelings toward each other: ambiguous/unsure, grow some over time maybe, but don’t see it lasting that long/ever being official. All in all a fairly typical young adolescent relationship.

There might be lingering feelings or wistfulness, or there might not.

Kinchrome (you did read it correctly!):

I see Kinro as a dedicated romantic type. Someone who crushes on one person for a long time with no deviation. I also see him as someone who doesn’t let this affect his duties, and as prone to keeping it inside/not acting upon it - especially when he knows Chrome is fixed on Ruri.

Chrome I see as someone who can hold multiple crushes at once. His attraction to Kinro is more recent, and he might not even realise it’s there. The two interacting pretty often - with Kinro watching Chrome for most of his guard shift once he became a gatekeeper - would likely contribute to things on both ends.

I also like the idea of Chrome thinking Kinro disliked him, because he was always glaring at him, when really he was squinting because of his poor eyesight, and liked Chrome a lot.

Someone tell them about poly or I don’t see them working anything out before they both move on.

Gincois (one-sided):

^ I drew that first Ginro in like 5 seconds intending to replace it and then just didn’t. Lol.

Ok the appeal here is mostly that I think it’s funny. Ginro (who often plays up his competence/ability) trying to impress Francois (incredibly competent at everything) is a recipe for comedy, I feel.

Francois is pretty (and out of his league) - that’s about it for why Ginro likes them, it’s very much a surface-level infatuation. They're very constant, delicated to their duties and to Ryusui; I like the idea of Ginro trying to flirt (shooting himself in the foot) and getting zero response. And of him trying to follow them and getting turned around while they buzz busily from job to job. It's the shipping equivalent of watching Ginro flail at a wall.

The idea of him getting spiritually cucked by Ryusui is fun too (again: because it’s funny). Also of him maybe approaching Ryusui to ask what Francois likes, and just getting a "…serving me?" in response.

List of some random head canons that have come to me about the dr stone characters

Starting: Tsukasa, Taiju, Senku, Suika & Gen

🦁🥊 TSUKASA 🥊🦁

- Tsukasa used to eat in Soup Kitchen centers. Here he saw a fight/got into a fight and that's how he discovered boxing world

- All his clothes are thrifted and he doesn't care about fashion or good matching outfits

When he got more famous and got a manger, this person was the one in charge of Tsukasa not going out in public with the most atrocious t-shirt you can imagine

- He is very good at maths and English cause he focused on learning those specifically. Maths so he can control his earnings and Mirai's medical bills, and English so he could have a good presence in media and gain more fans ((more fans -> more earnings -> more money for Mirai

- He is full of hate towards himself and towards the system. But full of love as well, he was just never in a safe place to let it out

- Can love big time all his friends now but romantic love is an unknown world for him

☀️👒 TAIJU 👒☀️

- Since his parents died he's been working in a lot of part time jobs ((I don't know the law of this in Japan, and idk how old was he when he lost his parents, but let's apply anime logic here for the sake of it

- He is full of energy so he couldn't focus much on class, but since joining his part time jobs and helping in different school clubs, he can spend all his energy there and sleep better at night

- He might cry himself to sleep sometime when nobody is watching TvT

🧪🚀 SENKU 🚀🧪

- Senku didn't tell Taiju that he was going to Africa to study cause Taiju was doing bad economically and he didn't want to rub it on his friend's face that he could travel and Taiju couldn't

- Senku is always hot ((that azy-cray kid is wearing short sleeves on snowy winter

- He is the kind of autistic that seeks sensory stimulation cause he has little xd

- Senku had problems when he was a kid about hurting other kids cause he used to havd difficulties understanding how others feel

- More than once he has messed up. But since meeting Taiju and Yuzu he got better at it and now is really good at caring for others

- Anime and videogames helped him understand facial expressions and human interaction

- I said this before but I put it here, she might have issues understanding facial expressions cause she grew up not seeing shit, the poor thing

- He got her period while everyone was petrified and, dear lord, I don't know how tribal people deal with that 😭 i hope it didn't hurt much to her. I hope in her tribe these things are talked about and taught how to deal with since and early age

- In a sengen world where she is their daughter, Suika has poliosis like Gen

- Gen has divided teeth and he lacks a teeth

- Gen is always cold (look at all those layers

- The moment of taking a shower is a duel for him because he he has to take his clothes off (now he is cold), he has to touch the water (which might be cold at the start ((and in the stone world i don'teven wanna imagine🫠), once he is finished showeing he has to get out (he is cold again) and now has to put new clothes on (and of course these clothes are cold) so 💀👎🏼 yeah, probably delays the shower time the more he can (he might have greasy hair & hates it

- At night he moves seeking warmth so he hugs whoever is next to him. When he was at hotels with his one night stand, these used to leave right after doing-the-doing and Gen would be super cold alone in bed
