I know this is a little bit of a boring and overused response, but I genuinely think he prefers the mating press. It's the easiest position for him to reach between his partner's legs (Franco chode REAL) and he would readily have access to their breasts. I think it would also make him feel bigger, considering his partner would literally be folded in half beneath him. In this position, he could squeeze his partner's tummy, squeeze their tits, their thighs, any part of them he wanted, or put his mouth wherever he wants, or just shove his tongue righr into their mouth if he so pleases. It's literally the perfect position for him to do whatever nasty thing pops into his mind in the moment.

Slightly unrelated, but I think Franco is an EVERYTHING man, and he has access to everything in this position. Tummy, tits, ass, hips, waist, thighs, face, armpits, neck, literally whatever he wants. I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS THOUGH!!! It always means so much to me whenever people tell me they enjoy the way I write Franco. He is so interesting to me and I love to paychoanalyze him and his behaviors. I love to pick him apart and see what makes him tick and what exactly swings the scales on his hypocrisy and contradictory beliefs.

I think the FOUNDATION of writing Franco shoukd always be to understand that he isn't a good person, and as far as thd canon is concerned, there is no way for him to brcome a good person. Therenis no amount of therapy ir love orbattention or care that will turn him around for the better. He will never get it when someone tells him his actions and morals are gross and wrong, because he LIKES that. He finds COMFORT in being gross and wrong, because it's all he was ever told he was, growing up.

* Myself and several other people have PLENTY of damning screenshots of their likes, in case they try to hide them from public view. Pattern, Materials and Instructions below read more !

Franquito

little chud pattern

Materials:

White and black thread and needle

Light grey marker (forgot to add to the image sorry!!!)

Liquid silicone glue or hot glue

Little bit of paint of ANY kind. white and black. i used kids craft paint

Stuffing of any kind. i gutted a dollar store plush!

Blue button for his eye

Clay or cold porcelain for his other eye

Felt in the colors:

White

Black

Red

Pink

Yellow

Tan (skintone)

Purple

Baby Blue

Brown

Optionally, a shoelace or ribbon of some kind if you want him to be hangable

Disclaimer! you really really dont need much felt for this project, print the pattern first and buy accordingly!

Instructions:

Cut out all the pieces, use the placement guide to make sure you got everything! it should look vaguely like this. Use the grey marker to draw the pinstripes on his suit

2. Start gluing layers. pretty much 90% of him is glued! easy as hell, you dont need to sew anything yet

liquid silicone is very strong on felt, and very fast drying so be careful with this step (i messed up and put his scar upside down on his front!!! dont be like me!!!)

3. Make and attach his mouth.

To make his mouth, take a square of red felt a little wider than his mouth hole, fold it in half and sew it by the sides. if you feel its too deep before sewing, cut it!!! make it as deep or as shallow as you deem appropriate

once you have the pocket made, carefully put glue on the opening, and glue it to his mouth hole

4. Eyes!!!!

To make his right eye, mix a bit of black paint into your clay (i used cold porcelain) and form it into a bit of a squished circle, when its dry, glue it down. Doesnt need to be perfect, but dont make it too flat.

Then cut a slit in a pink felt circle and stretch it over the clay, snip the edges of the pink until you feel it looks nicely rounded, and glue it over the clay

For his left eye, i like gluing down the sides of the button so it doesnt move, and then just simple stitch it into the felt.

You should be left with something like this so far

5. Sew!!!!

Start by blanket stitching the two halves of his body together, but stop before the head, you wanna stuff his body at this step!

After you get his body done, start stitching both sides of his head, but stop a little bit after his tufts so he can be stuffed.

This is also the point where you would grab a piece of shoelace and ribbon, make a loop with it, and glue it to his head if you want him to be hangable, otherwise you can just skip it. then you can just stuff him and close him up!

6. Bandolier

Every franco is personalized, so i opted to not put this piece in the pattern and explain it instead.

Just cut a long thin strip of brown felt and pose it how you want it to sit on your franco, the just cut the excess and glue the two pieces together

7. Mouthhh

Mix a little bit of white paint with you clay and shape it into teeth, again, they dont need to be perfect, were making franco!!! wait until they dry and glue them to his mouth with his tongue

8. YOURE DONE!!!!!

Steaming hot take:

Franco probably still would've turned out the way he is, regardless of whether or not his mother was present for his upbringing. I think he was always bound to turn out the way he is—due to the environment he was raised in, and the influence of his father—and I think his mother is the easiest person to blame all of his shortcomings and wrongdoings on. His fetishization of maternal women and motherhood doesn't seem to stem from a desire to have a mother, but more so from a desire to blame all of his issues on a lack of one.

I'm convinced his mother would've hardly had any influence or impact on his childhood and upbringing, anyway. As an assumedly young woman involved with the mob, I think it's honestly just unrealistic to act like her opinion or voice would have any power in Salvatore's household. We already know Salvatore killed her relatively easy with very few afterthoughts about it, for whatever reasoning he justified it with. I highly doubt he would've paid her much mind when it came to how HE wanted Franco to be raised. It just doesn't make sense to act like his mother could've been some magical shield that somehow prevented Salvatore from beating their son.

I think acting like all of his problems actually DO stem from his mother's absence, is actually just feeding right into the narrative he WANTS others to believe. He can say "Oh, I would've been 'normal,' if only I'd had a mother" all he wants, because it's easier for him to blame everything on an unknown/unseen third party than to take accountability for his actions. Why take accountability for choosing to continually reflect his environment and upbringing, when he can blame it all on his lack of a mother, and take it all out on women he perceives as faceless nobodies?
