Even with a handle

A cute one that’s blue and swirls at the bottom

I hold my cup on the other end

Warm ceramic

Sometimes too hot

I worry my hand cools the cup

It loses its warmth

I don’t let go

Maybe I’m hoping it’ll get warm again

That maybe I’ll be warm enough

The cup cools

And so do the contents
