Bullet Echo AU Lore Pt. 1

Basically in the AU, all players are a part of the ECHO Initiative, which is basically a show for the wealthy elites in which players kill each other and get revived over and over. The world itself is a mix of cyberpunk/sci-fi/fantasy basically. And I am absolutely going to give each skin their own backstory as well they will be separate characters ion care how much work that makes it.

OG Stalker, the first character players get to use, is the first to join. His real name is Marco Smith and he's a British Latino guy who joined the initiative to support his family but is secretly trying to dismantle things from the inside out and start a revolution. Stalker is the name for the type of fighter he is, as he hides in shadows and attacks from behind. He is referred to as Stalker Zero due to being the first Stalker.

Today I thought about some old friends that turned on me... and realized what was really going on. I remembered a pattern of others being cut off and it always seemed like one person in particular initiated it. They were manipulative and nasty and I didn't even realize it until a while after I was cut off upon stringing together instances and connecting the dots, also putting together all the times they pushed their interests onto me while ignoring mine and even making me feel bad by calling one of them disgusting, and the shitty text they sent me. I feel bad for their partner bc I feel like it could be a situation of isolating them from everyone else and the next person after me was most likely my ex who was the last person after me besides the manipulator and their partner. I hope my ex isn't afraid to come to me about it in the future if they're the next to be cut off, they were manipulated too, after all. I'm still upset, but thinking back on it, I understand now.
