///Final Packaging///
The updated packaging incorporates the new logo in an intriguing, but also natural way. The logo is expanded and placed on the front facing side of the packaging as a pattern. It immediately indicates string as the product and creates a strong brand system as it can be used with freedom in multiple circumstances. The new packaging also incorporates a realistic cardboard texture, has improved layout and composition, and displays the most important information more prominently.
This shows my process of refining the packaging with the new logo
The typeface was chosen because of it's legibility and clarity. We knew we wanted our packaging to be un-coloured cardboard, so the typeface had to stand out and not be lost int he grainy texture of the box. The typeface also contrasts the softer colours and logo icon to make more of an impression.
The colours we chose as a group reflect the nature of our brand values and target market. Environmentally friendly, neutral, and calm. They reflect aspects of nature and pottery, both of which macrame is used to hang.
These are the updated and final logo designs I created. I decided to entirely abandon the original logo as after many attempts to 'fix' it, nothing was improving and it felt forced. This time, I simply used the woven pattern design that I had previously made for the packaging as the new logo icon. This was to be paid with the existing display text, Mukta Mahi.
I like the contrast between the bold typeface and friendly icon. The logo can bee arranged both vertically and horizontally. As well as just an icon.
This logo is significantly more flexible and adaptable for different collateral.
///Formative Packing Design///
The idea behind the packaging was to have the logo fit perfectly on the face of the packing. This felt forced however, and I was already not 100% happy with the logo.
Initial packing iterations
Approachable and creative in its approach, our logo successfully represents our brand, Bundle. The perfectly rounded corners allude to a string form, and the stacking of letters is a nod to the Bundle of string. However, I found this logo, though creative, lacked legibility. There was also an odd mixture of capital and lowercase letters which I struggled to unify.

I wanted to try incorporate an aspect of string, or bohemian inspired lettering. I liked the top right example most because it fit 'BoHo' the best.

Inspiration:
We wanted our brand to reflect the creative and environmental aware millennials. Modern Bohemian stylen was also of interest and fits well into the macrame type. Besides colour, Cardboard boxes and strong typography are what stood out to me in this moodboard and are thing we want to incorporate.
