I am definitely alive, I just donโt write a lot for this fandom anymore. I write for the k-pop fandom now.
To summarize why I stopped writing here though is, back in early 2020 (right around the time that the world went to hell), I was still writing for BSD, and then around Christmastime the like count and reblog count went down drastically. While I donโt write for likes or reblogs, they do really push me to continue writing for a page, hence why I went to the Obey Me! Fandom by the end of December2020/January2021.
That blog was doing amazing up until the actual game just wasnโt playable anymore. It was impossible to play as a non-paying player, and I just couldnโt write about it because I didnโt know what the hell was going on anymore with all the character and with stuff like that I try to keep character personalities as canon as possible. Thatโs not really important though soโฆ that continued until about September/October 2021.
By October I wasnโt actually writing anymore, I just kindaโฆ lost touch with that part of myself, I was venturing into other artistic outlets, and in the process came across K-Pop which I fell in love with.
Since around mid/late October up until now I have been solely writing K-Pop based fan fictions, and if anyone is interested in reading them, I can link my two blogs for that. One is strictly BTS related, and my other blog is for multiple groups.
So, in short, I still write, just not on this blog. :)

A second child with you, it was like a dream come true. Asa was getting bigger, and so were you as the due date drew closer. Your stomach swelled with his child, another daughter, a child that would be just as loved as his first. Her name was chosen as soon as the two of you found out that she was a girl. Aiko Nakahara, who was already adored by not only him and you, but by Asa as well. His daughter would bring her toys over to your stomach and place them on top, smiling proudly up to him as she did so. She would be a wonderful big sister, that much he was sure of. He had never seen a child more excited to have a little sibling, but her excitement only made his own grow even more.
This pregnancy seemed to be far more difficult for you this time around which had Chuuya worried sick most days. Complications with your blood pressure had your doctors worried about your health and the babyโs, but after the premature labor scare, your doctor had finally put you on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy. It wasnโt fun, not at all, but with Chuuya home all the time now to look after you and take care of Asa, he did his best to try to make the last couple months of your pregnancy slightly enjoyable, even if you couldnโt get out of bed at all. He was the perfect husband, and you couldnโt have asked for anyone better to be there for you during it all.
Chuuya had always thought that the first pregnancy would be the hardest, but your pregnancy and delivery with Asa was so simple, it made this second round seem like an absolute nightmare.
He had just begun to fall asleep after making sure that you were comfortable and Asa was sound in her crib. Everything seemed like it had gone okay today, Asa got to sit next to you on the bed and watch her baby sister move in your stomach, her tiny hand reaching out and a loud giggle escaping as she felt the baby kick. It might not seem like much to anyone else, but to Chuuya it was a highlight in your pregnancy, it was a moment that heโd look back on fondly after this all was over with.
The sharp inhale and loud gasp coming from right beside him had him shooting up straight in the bed, turning to look down at you as you clutched at your stomach. Labored breaths were pushed out as your chest rose and fell, your eyes were wide as you looked up at him. โChuuyaโฆโ You whispered out his name as the tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, but it wasnโt long before your eyes were squeezed shut again, your fists clenching at the blankets wrapped around you as another contraction began.
There were five weeks left before your due date, and while the fears of his daughter being born prematurely worried him, the look of pain and fear in your eyes absolutely terrified him. You hadnโt looked like this when you went into labor with Asa, this was all completely different, and he didnโt know what to do. His daughter was fast asleep in the room right across the hall, but there wasnโt any time to wait for Kouyou to come over to watch her. โItโs okayโฆ Iโm gonna get you to the hospital. Donโt worry.โ He didnโt know how he was able to sound so calm. Inside he was panicking, and his hands were shaking as he pulled out his phone to call his colleague, hoping that sheโd answer as he walked into Asaโs room.
โDo you know what time it is?โ Kouyouโs voice was stern, even with the hint of tiredness that laced it. He held the phone between his ear and his shoulder as he reached down to lift Asa out of her crib, waking her from her deep slumber so he could quickly get her dressed.
โY/N is having contractionsโฆ theyโre bad. I need to get her to the hospital, but I canโt leave Asa here, so can you please just meet me at the hospital and take her? Please?โ He hated to sound like he was begging, but to put it simplyโฆ he was. He needed this, he needed help, and Kouyou was the only person in the mafia that he actually trusted to watch his daughter.
โAlrightโฆ Iโll be there.โ It didnโt sound like she really wanted to, or maybe it was just the grogginess, but he didnโt really care right now. He knew well enough that Asa would be in good hands when Kouyou had her, and then heโd be able to solely worry about you. He quickly hung up his phone, slipping it back into his pocket as he lifted Asa and carried her into his and your room.
You were fighting back tears as you saw him carry in your daughter, forcing a smile onto your face as you looked up at her. She was so intuitive, and you could see the worry on her face just from seeing you in the condition you were currently in. โItโs alrightโฆ Aiko just wants toโฆ see you nowโฆ Right Chuu?โ His lips squeezed together into a thin line as he looked at you, but the corners quickly turned up as he looked back at Asa, nodding quickly as he set her down on the bed next to you. He just needed to stay strong and composed, not just for you, but for his daughter as well. He wouldnโt let either of you see how scared he really is right now.
He was trying so hard not to speed through the streets, but your heavy exhales and your pale knuckles as you held tightly onto the handle on the roof of the car had him pushing the gas pedal a little further down. โAlmost thereโฆ Hold on a little longerโฆโ The sight of the black SUV truck with the tinted windows sitting a couple streets back from the hospital had him pulling over. Kouyou was already there waiting, and he didnโt know how heโd repay her for coming on such short notice, but heโd surely have to once you and his other daughter were okay.
Once Asa was safely with Kouyou, he could drive just a little faster, screeching to a halt in front of the emergency room doors, not even bothering to pull the keys from the ignition as he got out and ran to the passenger side to help you out. Multiple doctors ran out, one pushing a wheelchair towards the car as he helped you walk. Even that sounded painful for you, and the tears were finally flowing freely and spilling down your cheeks now that you didnโt have to worry about scaring your daughter. โThereโs something wrongโฆ you have to get her outโฆ You have to.โ You cried out to the doctors, and it only set Chuuya into panic mode. What could possibly be wrong? It didnโt seem like anything was wrong earlier.
โIโll be right there.โ He called out, climbing back into the car and speeding to the parking lot that didnโt seem that far away before, but now it felt like miles. Nothing else really seemed to matter in the moment as he pulled into the nearest parking spot, yanking the keys out and propelling himself with his ability back towards the building. No amount of side eyes or glares from other patients or guests could stop him. He had a one track mind, and the only thing that he could think of was you and getting to you as fast as he possibly could.
It was like everyone there knew exactly what and who he was here for. As soon as he walked in a doctor was there waiting for him, ready to lead him back to the room where you were at. โSheโs already in her room, weโre getting her IVโs ready, and the technician is doing an ultrasound now.โ The doctor spoke just as fast as he was walking, his hands moving as he spoke, grabbing a blue gown and hair cover and passing it to Chuuya as they walked down the hall.
โWhatโs this for?โ He questioned, shaking his head. This stuff wasnโt needed before, so why would he need it now? Everything was happening so fast, and while he was able to keep up with the speed of the walking, everything else was just becoming hard to even understand. โIs she okay?โ Itโs not that he meant to snap at the doctor, but his patience was wearing thin, and he was beyond worried about you and his daughter right now. He needed answers and nobody was giving him any.
โWe donโt know whatโs going on right now. Thatโs why-โ The doctor wasnโt even able to finish his sentence as the speakers in the hallway came to life announcing a code red, and then he took off. It was like everyone knew where to go, doctors that were already masked and clothed rushed towards one of the doors near the end of the hallway, pushing the door open and running into the room. The sinking feeling in Chuuyaโs stomach was validated as he watched the medical team pull your bed out of the room, a mask had already been placed over your face to most likely sedate you, and now they were pushing the bed as fast as they could down the hallway and all Chuuya could do was follow as close behind as he could.
They pushed you through the two double doors, and the small glimpse that he caught of the inside showed the bright overhead light that casted a glare off the multiple silver tools that lined the metallic tray. โSir, you might not want to go in there.โ The doctor outside of the door stopped Chuuya before he could even go inside which only set him off even more. How could they possibly know what he might or might not want? He wanted to go in there and be with you right now. He wanted to make sure you were okay. He wanted to watch his child be born. These doctors didnโt know shit. He tried to push past the doctor again, but he was stopped once more. โIโฆ Sir, I really think it would be in your best interest to not go in there. Youโre not going to want to see that.โ
It wasnโt the way the doctor said it, it was the way he looked along with the words that he said. It had him backing up until he was up against the wall on the other side of the hallway, blankly staring at the doctor in front of him. He didnโt want to accept what the words meant, but it didnโt take a rocket scientist to understand them. โSheโs not going to make itโฆโ He mumbled out the words, and he wasnโt really sure who she would beโฆ whether it be you or his daughter, he knew that he was going to lose someone. It wasnโt enough to just question why it would happen. Everyone always questioned why or what they could have done to keep it from happening in the first placeโฆ but he didnโt have any questions. He only had anger and sadness, and they were feelings that he was too emotionally drained to even act on right now.
Somehow your daughter had managed to get the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, and going into premature labor was causing the cord to tighten and basically strangle her with each contraction. Her heart rate was decreasing rapidly, and the only way to deliver safely for both you and her was to perform an emergency c-section. There wasnโt any time, and you were already being rushed out before Chuuya had even returned.
You were completely numb from the neck down, but you could hear everything that the doctors were saying, and you could still feel the slight tugging and pulling as they hurried to cut you open. You had no one there with you, it was just you and the faint glimmer of hope that you and your child would be okay by the end of all this. It was terrifying, and the worst part was that you couldnโt even see what was going on past the large sheet that blocked you from seeing anything past your upper chest. The only thing you could rely on to hold onto that small little bit of hope was the quiet words spoken between the doctors.
โSheโs turning blue! We have to get her out!โ One of the doctors yelled, and you could feel the tugging and pulling of tendons and muscles as they practically ripped your daughter from your womb. You heard the snip of scissors and the quiet murmurings of the doctors, but you couldnโt hear any crying. Why wasnโt she crying?
You began to feel light headed, your vision becoming foggier, working from the outside in. You tried to blink away the vignette fading, but everything was turning dark. The voices of the doctors seemed to be moving further and further away, the beeping of the heart monitor seemed to keep time with the growing darkness that was overcoming your vision. With every beep, things would get darker, voices would move further, untilโฆ.
โGet the baby out of here! Someone get the defibs, start CPR, call the code!โ It didnโt matter that he wasnโt in the room with you. He could hear the commotion going on inside, the announcement over the speakers of a code blue. Everyone knew what that meantโฆ and he was no exception to the masses. Through all the commotion, he had yet to hear his daughter cry, all he knew was that she was being rushed off somewhere, and thatโs only because he heard one of the doctors shout it out. There was nothing he could do except sit hopelessly out in the hallway, his knees pulled up against his chest and his back against the wall. Tears fell from his eyes as he heard the calling of โclearโ from behind the doors. As much as he didnโt want to, he couldnโt keep himself from focusing even more on the slightest sounds that were coming from the room next to him. The faint sound of the heart machine starting back up, giving a few short beeps, only to go quiet once more.
All of his worst fears were coming true and he didnโt know what to do. He couldnโt imagine living his life without you, and it wasnโt just himself that he was worried about. If the doctors werenโt able to bring you backโฆ. How would he tell Asa? She was only a baby herself, she wouldnโt understand why you didnโt come back home with him, and the possible animosity sheโd harbor towards her sister wouldnโt be fair for Aiko. Truth be told, he was scared because he knew he wouldnโt be able to do this without you. He needed you just as much as his girls did, maybe even more.
โWeโve got a steady pulse! Keep it going! We need oxygen! Get the breathing tubes!โ His head slightly lifted from where it was resting against his knees. There was a pulse, your heart was beating, and through the sound of his sniffling he could hear the steady, yet slow sound of the heart monitor beeping once more. He let out a shaky sigh of relief as his head fell back against the wall of the hallway, and although you werenโt fully in the clear yetโฆ at least you were still here with him in some way, and that's what he really needed most right now to finally relax, even if just a little.
Two weeks had passed, two weeks and three days to be exact since the very traumatizing delivery of Aiko. Chuuya had gone through so many emotions in that one day that for a couple days after, when he had found out that you were okay and that his daughter was okay, he couldnโt feel anything at all. He knew that he should have been happy after hearing the news, but at the time he just felt numb.
Kouyou had continued to watch Asa, as he didnโt want to leave your side in the hospital, but she would occasionally bring Asa up to visit you and him while the both of you were there. The tubes that had been shoved into your nose and down your throat were slowly but surely removed once your oxygen levels returned to normal. The only reason you needed to stay longer was to make sure that you werenโt hemorrhaging and that you were clotting properly to stop the bleeding.
Aiko had been in the NICU center, having been born at 35 weeks, her lungs werenโt fully developed and she couldnโt drink out of a bottle yet. She had her own breathing tubes, and she was under the constant watch of rotating nurses who made sure she was kept warm. He and you were able to see her only during feeding times when she was pulled out of the incubator. You both were able to hold her, although the tubes and cords that connected her to oxygen machines and heart monitors scared Chuuya. It was nothing like holding Asa for the first time, Aiko seemed so much more fragile, and she was so small, only weighing 5 ยฝ pounds the first week and a half that she was in the hospital.
Now that those two weeks had passed thoughโฆ everything seemed to be looking bright. There was a light at the end of the very dark tunnel that Chuuya had felt like he had been stuck in for so long. Aiko had gradually gained enough weight to pass her carseat test, and you were healthy enough to finally go home. There was no need for him to be scared anymore, all of his girls were safe, and youโd all be home with him where you belonged. His tiny family was complete.

I know that I said that I was going to stop writing once I finished twelve days of Christmas, but at this point, itโs just become more like a job to me. Lately Iโve been stressing myself even trying to get things queued up so theyโd post on time. Itโs not that Iโve lost my love for the character, or the fandom, or the show. I love Bungou Stray Dogs, I love all my followers, I love all the people who stuck around after my long hiatus when the Pandemic first struck. I love the very few people who still like my posts. But, I just canโt find it in me to continue writing for the characters at this time. Itโs not fair to the people who read it because I know itโs not the best that I can put out, and itโs not fair to the characters who deserve to be written so much better.ย
Iโm not closing down my blog, Iโll still be here, I just wonโt be writing for Bungou Stray Dogs any longer. Itโs been great, and I love you all dearly. Thank you for sticking around.ย

๐ You walked through the front door, carrying the children on each hip as Fyodor followed behind you with the bags.ย โAre you sure it was a good idea to buy every single ornament they touched in the aisle?โ You joked, setting the kids down on the floor and grabbing some of the bags from your fianceโs hands. He chuckled at your question, looking down at his raven haired babies who toddled over to the tree.ย โIt was a great idea, moy dorogoy. Look how excited they are.โย
๐ Large totes and plastic boxes filled with ornaments other decorations lined the floor. Your feeble attempt at getting the children to focus on something else proved useless. Rudolph wasnโt holding their attention quite as much as you hoped it would, now they were interested in the shiny ornaments that were in the clear box.ย
๐ย โIโll keep them busy, you do your decorating.โ Fyodor said, smiling softly at you, kissing your cheek before sitting on the floor and pulling Elizaveta and Iofif onto his lap.ย โNow, what do we have here, malenโkiye?โ He grabbed the bag and started pulling out the ornaments that he had bought for them.ย
๐ You finally finished stringing the lights, looking over to see that the children were still occupied with the ornaments they had picked out.ย โNow I see why you bought them.โ You joked, walking over to the box and dragging it closer to the tree, shocked that the children didnโt even look up.ย โItโs like a new toy every time I pull one out... watch.โ He reached his hand into the bag and pulled out a sparkly reindeer ornament, holding it out to Elizaveta. Her eyes lit up and her chubby little hands reached out for the ornament, grabbing it from Fyodors hands and clutching it against her chest.ย
๐ It didnโt take long for the children to tire themselves out, and Fyodor had managed to keep them excited with the same six ornaments long enough for you to finish hanging the most fragile ornaments at the top of the tree.ย โSleep well, moi angely.โ He whispered to them as he carefully laid them across the sofa, tucking pillows around them so they wonโt roll off.
๐ You grabbed the new, non-breakable ornaments off the floor and hung them close to the bottom, knowing the children would want to play with them and most likely pull them off when they woke up.ย โI need help getting the angel up on top.โ You handed the vintage tree topper to him, watching as he reached up and carefully placed it atop the tree.ย
๐ The two of you took a step back, admiring the work you did.ย โDid you notice the three new ornaments at the top?โ You looked over at Fyodor who quickly stepped toward the tree, searching for the new editions. He hummed to himself when he finally found them, perfectly lined up in the center of the tree, perfectly illuminated by the lights.ย
๐ย โBabyโs First Christmas... they both have one...โ He smiled softly as he reached his hand out to touch the ornaments, brushing his fingers along the tiny teddy bears that held candy canes shaped like the number one.ย โDid you see the other one, in the middle?โ You point to where the ornament dangled, walking closer to him and wrapping your arm around his waist.ย

Each had their own special place on the tree, and now with three new editions hanging from the branches, the tree seemed perfect. You had truly been blessed with the perfect family. It was your first Christmas together as a family, and it was the one thing that you had been looking forward to the most. You had everything you could have ever wanted or needed.ย

๐ You hadnโt really been checking the weather, so when you rolled over and saw the snow gently falling outside the window, lightly coating the sidewalks and the tops of cars, it only made you more excited. Dazai had a completely different view on the tiny flakes.ย โItโs gonna be cold out there, love. Canโt we just go another day?โ His bare body against your own was like a personal space heater, almost almost making you go backย on your plans.ย
๐ย โItโs so much prettier when it snows though. All the leaves are white and sparkly. Come on, Dazai.โ You kissed him softly before pulling the blankets off of your bodies, wrapping yourself in it as you got up. He shivered as the cold air hit him, quickly sitting up and grabbing his clothes off the floor.ย โThe snow will drip on the floor, get it wet, itโll be a hassle.โ He really was trying anything to get out of doing it.ย
๐ย โWeโll just shake the snow off before we bring it in.โ You tapped your temple and smiled wide. He could never bring himself to say the wordย โnoโ to you, he would find any reason, any excuse, any way of saying no without ever uttering the word. He would always give up after a while, especially if he knew that say no would upset you.ย โFine. Just, bundle up tight, okay. I donโt want you catching a cold or pneumonia. Especially not over a Christmas tree.โย
๐ You got dressed in the bathroom, picking the warmest clothes you had and slipping them on, fixing up your hair and brushing yourย before stepping back out. It wasnโt shocking to see him dressed up, no, his usual work outfit was quite dressy to say the least. It was the black turtleneck, the black jeans, and the black peacoat paired with the black boots. He looked like a model and it made your heart beat so hard that it felt like it was going to jump out of your chest.ย
๐ The snow made the entire city look like a winter wonderland, the flakes flurrying around the two of you as you walked through rows and rows of trees.ย โItโs freezing out here. Canโt we just pick a tree?โ Dazai said through shivering teeth, his nose already red from the cold.ย
๐ Small flaked of snow clung to his hair, and you couldnโt get over how cute he looked. You took a deep breath through your nose, closing your eyes and sighing with content.ย โDonโt you love the smell?โ You murmured, looking up at him, squinting your eyes to keep the snow from landing in them.ย
๐ย โSmell what?โ He sniffed a little, but it sounded more like a sniffle. He looked confused as he looked around, looking for a flower shop, or a restaurant, something that would make you ask the question.ย โThe smell of Christmas...โ You whispered, breathing in deeper and smiling softly.ย
๐ His arm wrapped tightly around you, finding warmth against your body.ย โHmm, I guess I do...โ He nodded, moving you further through the aisles until you found the perfect tree.ย โThis is the one! I love it!โ You cheered, brushing your fingers over the branches. It was sturdy, none of the needles fell off, it was a bright green, it was beautiful.ย
๐ After getting home and setting up the tree, the two of you lounged lazily on the couch, sipping hot cocoa out of snowman shaped glass mugs, cuddling close under a knitted blanket. He found himself thinking about what you said earlier, about the smell of Christmas.ย
๐ย That smell, it was distinct, it was memorable. For as long as you could remember, it was the first sign that Christmas was coming. It was the smell of winter air that the wind would carry along with it, the smell of freshly fallen snow. The smell of a freshly cut pine tree. It was the smell of Christmas. He hadnโt thought much of it, he hadnโt even thought that a holiday could have a smell.ย
๐ Now, he couldnโt stop smelling it. Whenever he went outside, he would take a deep breath, smiling as the scents drifted into his nose. He would never be able to forget it. Every winter, when the air became dry and cold, when the first snow of the season would fall, he would breathe it all in. They were the smells of Christmas, and they now were, and always will be for him.ย
๐ The horn honked from outside your house signifying that he was there. You already had your coat on, wrapping your arms tightly around yourself as you opened the door, facing the chill of winter to run to his car.ย
๐ He pushed open the door for you, watching with an excited smile as you climbed in, humming softly to yourself as the warmth from the car seemed to wrap around you.ย โYour nose is so red just from that tiny amount of walking, or should I say running, to the car.โ He chuckled softly, turning to look out the windshield as he started driving.ย
๐ย โItโs cold out there, and I didnโt really feel like covering my entire face with a scarf just for a quick walk to the car.โ Your sarcastic tone only made his chuckle grow louder. He grabbed your hand off your lap, still not taking his eyes off the road, and held it up to the vent.ย โWarm yourself, dear. I donโt want you getting ill.โย
๐ The heat blowing from the vents felt amazing, and you found that your entire body was pulling against the restraints of the seat belt to try to get as close to it as possible.ย โYou feeling warmer now?โ He joked, seeing the way you gravitated towards the warmth. You nodded quickly, leaning back in the seat again and smiled over to him.ย โToasty, thank you.โย
๐ You could tell that you were getting closer, the traffic had slowly gotten worse and worse until the car was at a stand still. He had put it in park after a while, turning up the radio before resting his head back against the seat.ย โWell this is nice. We went to see Christmas lights, and all weโre seeing is a bunch of brake lights instead.โ The traffic was definitely cutting into his neatly planned schedule, and you were shocked that he hadnโt thought of the traffic beforehand.ย โWell... at least the lights are red. Thatโs pretty festive.โย
๐ Thirty minutes later and the car finally reached the entrance to the neighborhood. It was an entire block, every single house was decorated in a different way, but it all seemed to blend in some way or another.ย
๐ย โItโs so beautiful, Kunikida! Do you see it?!โ You exclaimed, turning your body completely to look out your window. ๐ You pointed out the window at one house in particular. It seemed to call out to you specifically, placed between two other houses, but this houses seemed to just scream your name.ย โWould you like to take a picture in front of it?โ Kunikida asked, and the way you turned to face him, the wide smile on your face, he already knew the answer to the question.ย
๐ He quickly pulled into a parking spot, getting out of the car and holding your door open for you.ย โOne quick picture, Iโm sure they wouldnโt mind.โ He wrapped his arm around your waist, keeping you close to his side as he pulled his phone out.ย โAlright, sayย โMerry Christmasโ!โ He said as he held the phone out at arms length, snapping the picture of the both of you, making sure to get as much of the house in the picture as he could.ย
๐ When you got back in the car he handed you his phone, letting you look at the picture.ย โI love it... thank you, Kunikida.โ You murmured, still staring at the photo on his phone as he reached out to grab your hand.ย
๐ The warmth of his hand in yours, the lights reflecting brightly off the ice crystals that still clung to the edge of the windshield. Christmas music playing softly through the car speakers while driving down the lit up streets, picking out your favorite decorations. It was a simple yet fun tradition that you looked forward to, and although he still didnโt fully get the meaning behind doing it when you could just decorate your own place, he found happiness in watching you. Seeing your face light up that way, it was something that he would definitely look forward to every year.ย
๐ โOh, weโre pulling out the fancy glasses tonight?โ You joked, watching him reach up into the cabinets to pull out the wine glasses. Not much called for those glasses to be pulled out, honestly, the last time you had even seen them used was during the wholeย โDead Appleโ incident, which was something you tried to never bring up around him.ย
๐ He flashed you a cute little smirk, placing the glasses on the counter and motioning you over with his finger. You moved quickly over to where he was standing, waiting for his next move.ย โOf course weโre using the fancy glasses tonight. I finally have a weekend off work, and I want to celebrate. I pick the wine while you decide what weโre going to do.โ He kissed you softly before moving to the wine rack.ย
๐ย โLetโs make cookies...โ You mused, smiling to yourself. Neither of you were the best chefs, but even with that thought in mind, there was nothing more festive than baking cookies with the one you loved so dearly.ย โCookies? What kind would you like to make?โ He asked, turning around with the green glass bottle in hand, his smirk had changed to a much gentler smile when he looked at you.ย
๐ย โChocolate chip. Tisโ the season, right?โ You returned the smile, watching him unwrap the foil from the top of the bottle before twisting off the lid. He poured the red liquid into the glasses, handing yours over to you before holding his own up in the air.ย โTo an amazing, relaxing weekend with my baby.โ He toasted, clinking his glass against yours before taking a sip.ย
๐ The ingredients had been laying around the kitchen for a couple days, awaiting the day that Chuuya would be able to help you bake the cookies. It was something that you had wanted to do for a while, and now that the day had finally come, you were beyond excited.ย
๐ The process took slightly longer than it should have, but that wasnโt a problem. Ingredients were unwrapped and unpacked, then sips of wine were taken, after each step, the two of you would take sips from your glasses.ย
๐ย โChuuya... did you preheat the oven?โ You asked, giggling slightly as the alcoholic beverage warmed your body. He looked up from his glass, having been filling it once more.ย โPreheat? Oh... Oh! Let me...โ He took a big swig before walking over to the oven and turning it on.ย
๐ You could tell that he was already tipsy, having been taking bigger sips than you had been the entire time, the bottle was already close to empty from him alone.ย โAlright.... whatโs... next?โ His speech was slightly slurred and his hiccups between words were quite adorable.ย
๐ย โWe need to mix in the flour. A little bit at a time or itโll be too hard to mix.โ You dumped a little into the measuring cup, and before you could stop him he had poured the entire cup into the mixing bowl. When you looked up at him his smile was sheepish, his face flushed red from embarrassment at his mistake and from the amount of wine he had drank. If it was anyone else you would have been slightly irritated that they hadnโt listened, but with him, he just looked to cute to be annoyed with.ย
๐ A little extra muscle power had to be used to mix all the flour together in one go, but everything was finally thoroughly blended, the cookie sheets were prepared, the oven was preheated, it was time to finally bake the cookies.ย
๐ย Velvety smooth wine in crystal glasses, flour clouds puffing up in the air as it gets dumped into the bowl. Miniature chocolate chips stolen from the bag and tossed into each others mouth. A small moment of happiness and bliss that would become moment to look back on every year when the season comes around.ย
๐ It wasnโt the traditional way to go about the seasonal activity, but it would become one of the fonder moments to remember each year. The two of you sharing sweet kisses in the kitchen, the taste of red wine and dark chocolate on each others lips as the smell of the baked goods filled every inch of the penthouse.ย
๐ Not much else seemed to matter or even exist in that moment. It was just the two of you, reveling in the warmth of each others bodies that were covered in flour and tiny grains of sugar. It was perfect, probably not by normal standards, but to he and you, it was perfect, and thatโs all that mattered.ย

๐ His smile was warm, much warmer than the cold winter wind that whipped against the glass panes. You stood from the couch, walking over to him and reaching up to kiss him softly. He would always turn a beautiful shade of cherry blossom pink whenever your lips pressed against his.ย โI think I have a perfect idea of what we can do.โ You flashed him a smile, and for a second you thought you saw something, an emotion that he hides away so deeply, a feeling that he gets so very rarely, but you could have sworn you seen that look of it in his eyes.ย
๐ย โWhat do you have in mind, doll?โ The hint of the look had immediately gone away, he was thoroughly intrigued by what your plans were. You quickly moved to the cabinet where you kept all of your movies, pulling out your collection of Christmas DVDโs and VHS tapes.ย โWhat are those?โ He asked, looking down at the discs and large black rectangles on the floor.ย
๐ย โThese are movies. I know that most people donโt watch movies on these anymore, but thereโs something nostalgic about watching them like this.โ You pushed yourself up off the floor, carrying the collection of movies over to the table and laid them out.ย โWhat kind of movies are they?โ He followed you into the kitchen, confusedly reading some of the titles on the DVD boxes and VHS tapes.ย
๐ย โChristmas movies!โ There was something about watching them, it always got you into the spirit of the season. Usually you would have already begun watching them a couple days after Halloween, but this year you wanted Sigma to enjoy every holiday and every season, so you took it slow for him. He didnโt even know what Christmas was, and Fyodor wasnโt really worried about explaining it to him, so you took it upon yourself to help show him how to enjoy the holidays together.ย
๐ The system was outdated and required a lot of work to get up and running, the red, yellow, and white cords that plugged into the back of the television had confused Sigma thoroughly.ย โWhy are there so many?โ He asked as he reached the wires up the back of the entertainment unit for you to grab. You chuckled lightly, plugging them in and then looking around the screen at him.ย โNot everything was as simple as an HDMI cable back then.โย
๐ย โUhm... the screen is blue, doll. Does that mean itโs broken?โ Sigma looked up at you worriedly, but you were beyond ecstatic that the VCR still worked. You clapped your hands and quickly picked your favorite movie out of the collection of VHS taped.ย โIt means that everything is going as planned. This is going to be great!โ You slipped the tape into the slot, the long forgotten sound of the motors running in the box brought back memories of past holiday seasons that felt so long ago.ย
๐ You ran to turn off the light, pulling Sigma onto the couch with you. The lights didnโt have to be on for you to know that he was blushing furiously from the action, but he still wrapped his arm around you as you rested your head on his shoulder. He pulled the thick afghan blanket over the both of you, relishing in the warmth of each others bodies as the wind picked up outside.ย
๐ His laughter filled your ears, and little did he know that his reactions were far more enjoyable to you than the movie itself. Hearing his pure joy at one of the movies you had loved the most, it warmed your heart. His happiness was your happiness.ย
๐ The snow fell silently outside the window, gracing the sky with little white flakes that would leave the entire city coated in white and impassable. Right now though, it was perfect. A perfect setting for a perfect night, snuggled up warm next to your love as the television screen illuminated the room around you.
