exhaustion (quackity x reader)
OMG so could i request a quackity x reader where the reader is Karl’s sister and like a year older than Sean or something and she’s visiting when Alex comes over and they meet and hit it off? bonus point if she says “sean this is your house” at any point :)
authors note: i couldn’t really find a place to insert the “sean, this is your house,” thing, but i'm pretty proud of this short piece anyways :) hope i did it well!
You knew that Karl had a friend over, there’s nothing wrong with that, but you didn’t expect to be woken up in the middle of the night by their shrieks and cackles. Sighing, you pushed yourself out of bed and walked into the kitchen to make yourself a snack and get some water. From the other room, you hear, “I think I’m going to go ahead and end the stream. Thank you all for joining me and I hope you all have a great night.” Well, it’s about time. As you glance over at the clock you realize how late it truly is- 2 in the morning, nearly three.
The door to the left of you swings open where Karl and his friend-Alex, I believe, emerge. You went to bed as soon as this Alex arrived, so you hadn’t had the time to introduce yourself to him. “Wow, she’s awake, Alex! This never happens!”
You immediately caught notice of his eyes, they were a deep brown shade and seemed to be so captivating. He had a beanie on that perfectly framed his face with just the smallest tuft of hair peeking out from the brim. He was a bit shorter than your brother, but it fit him perfectly.
“Earth to (y/n), what are you doing?” Sean says, you hadn’t even realized that he walked into the room. “oh, I’m just a little tired, sorry,” you said, rubbing your eyes- trying to convince the room. Karl shot you a knowing look, face beet-red and trying not to laugh.
To break the awkwardness, Sean suggested watching a movie to which we all complied, the parents were asleep, and it was so late that there wasn’t much else to do. Karl, out of spite, sat Alex and you together on the other side of the couch.
After about an hour, Karl and Sean were emitting soft snores- you and Alex were the only ones who were left awake. “well, they went to sleep quickly,” Alex says, turning his body to face you, “so Karl tells me you’re basically like a mini-him, are you any good at any games?”
“Yeah, Karl taught me how to play Minecraft a little while back but that’s really it. I watch your streams; I know you’re quite good as most games you play.”
By the end of the night, you and Alex had been talking about anything and everything you could think of while the other two boys snored in their slumber. You and Alex had ended up playing Minecraft together in Karl’s bedroom for what seemed to be hours on end until you both lost the battle to sleep. It wasn’t until Karl had woken up that you two had been discovered. It was an honest mistake, but as you both fell asleep, you ended up cuddled into Alex’s side, his head resting on top of yours.
“Sean, come here,” Karl whispered to his brother trying not to wake the pair. Soon enough, both of the boys were peeking into the doorway of the bedroom, gawking at the sight.
“Well, Karl, I think you owe me $20, I told you this was going to happen.”
Karl wanted to pretend to be upset over the fact that his sister and best friend were practically melting into each other, but you both looked so peaceful and content laying on the bedroom floor. He sighed, quietly closing the door.
