the familiar keys jingling & currently being thrusted into the keyhole are enough to make you perk up from where you sat at on the couch that swallowed you.
“‘m home, sweetheart.” someone’s had a long day, judging by the sunken, navy eyes & the gruff tone in his voice that makes it sound like a growl with every word.
“hi, i missed you.” you’re immediately met with the sight of him plopping down with his back towards you, scooching back until he feels your shins. your head tilts in confusion as he hooks his hands around your calves & lifts them onto his shoulders where your knees rested.
that’s when you feel him lean his head back between the doughy flesh of your thighs & a pressure from his hands against the sides of your knees, is he squishing his head?
you chuckle from the tickle of the tips of his silky hair against your lap.
“weirdo, what are you doing?”
he snorts at the name & leans his head against your left thigh gently, his eyes shut in exhaustion.
“so now i’ma weirdo for being between my girls legs?”
“no,..you’re a weirdo for squishing your head with them!”
“oh, so a weirdo for loving my girls thighs?”
he feels you lean back against the couch, taking it as a sign of victory for him in your little ‘weirdo battle’ & he sinks deeper between your thighs, sighing at the soft cushioning.
he’s unaware of the soft gaze from behind him, but it shows through your fingers which now gently scratch at his scalp, earning a grumble from him. “fuck, baby..”
it’s almost funny with how fast he manages to sleep, judging by the limp tilt of his head which now feel 2 pounds heavier against you & the soft snores that emerge from his parted lips. so cute.
“sleep well, baby. okay?”
you softly chuckle at his peaceful state & swipe a hand under his bangs to pull it back & you place a kiss on his forehead as if he wasn’t a six foot something sorcerer who kills people for a living, but the most delicate thing made of glass.
and to you, he was. but that’s only for you to see!
