the story in which yuji finds out being a baby brother is hard! 2,343 words!
part one!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
yuji is currently stressed. it started when you and kento asked him to keep an eye on your daughter. it shouldn’t have been hard, he’d known the young girl for seven months now, they’re practically attached at the hip!
so yuji was excited to spend one on one time with your daughter. i mean, he was officially her big baby brother! he’s someone she can rely on if anything happens, and that also means taking care of her when you and kento are busy.
except it’s been an hour since you and kento left them alone and he has no idea what he’s actually doing. he watches as the young girl stares at him warily, her hand in a fist.
“soooo,” yuji starts, your daughter just shakes her head, “uh uh.”
yuji nods, “never mind!”
he doesn’t know that he can do this, at least not alone.
he goes on his phone and sends a text.
‘HELLO GUYS?! SOS SOS!’ yuji
‘is everything ok?? is something happening with sukuna?’ megumi
‘he better hope smth is wrong! i was totes busy online shopping just 2 b interrupted’ nobara
‘i need help! i took on the task of watching my new big little sister but rn it looks like she hates me!’ yuji
yuji looks at his phone in desperation. it’s been five minutes since he left that text.
‘they’re totally ignoring me!’ yuji thought.
and it’s not like neither megumi or nobara didn’t get yujis message, yuji can see that they both clearly read it! he can’t call you or kento, you both trusted him to watch over her for a little, and if he can’t even do that, what if you and kento don’t love him anymore.
i mean, let’s face it, you guys already had a kid together. you both raised her and loved her unconditionally. but yuji fears that you guys took him in and loved him, with conditions. you guys would kick him to the curb the second you found out your daughter doesn’t like him.
and that scares yuji, it’s been almost a year since he met your family, and it was the best time of his life. he felt safe to do or say anything, he felt taken care of, he felt loved.
and now whenever you and kento get back, you guys are definitely not want to keep yuji around anymore! all these internal thoughts from yuji have him freaking out.
yuji is scared. more scared than when he found out he was going to be executed after consuming all of sukunas fingers. more scared than when he watched sukuna literally take yujis own heart out of his body.
his head is in his hands, body turned over. his chest started to hurt, he felt like he had to leave. his legs felt like they wanted to run out of here, he felt- “yuji yuji yuji!”
yujis body freezes, all those feeling he just felt went on pause. he looked up from his hands to find his big baby sister patting his shoulder a little roughly, he assumed she had been calling his name.
“what happened?” yuji doesn’t get a response, but she points to the door.
there’s knocking.
he’s a little freaked out. no one should be coming over.
“can this dumbass open the door already?! what’s the point of whining and complaining about babysitting if you’re not wanting help!”
that’s nobaras voice, he’d recognize that degrading voice from anywhere! he hears someone speak back to her, but their voice is muffled.
he quickly jumps up from his seat on the couch, going to answer the door.
when he opens it, it’s not just nobara and megumi. maki, inumaki and panda?
“finally! what’s your deal? you clearly asked for help and when i graciously offer mine and others help, you ignore us?!”
nobara whines, “quit yelling at him, he was probably busy watching his sister to hear.” megumi scolded.
hearing their voices really grounded yuji back on earth. sure he still feels the lingering feeling of fear and un-belonging, but his friends are here for him, and he feels that if you guys kick him out, he still has a place with his friends.
“wait, you guys are here? like really here?”
he reaches out for them to try and touch them as if they aren’t real. nobara slaps his hand down, “what are you doing? also duh we’re here, was that sos a joke or something?”
yuji feels like crying, man, he loves his friends. he nods, teary eyed, “yeah, thanks guys.”
megumi and inumaki nod, nobara and maki grimace, and panda, well panda was getting emotional for yujis sake.
the other students hadn’t been let inside the house yet, all standing waiting for permission. then they see it. a small girl standing behind yujis leg and holding his pants.
she looks up at them with caution and curiosity, but her eyes seem to drift towards one person in particular.
nobara.
the said girl looks at the almost five year old child. they just stare at each other for a moment.
“aweeee!” nobara pushes yuji to the side, making sure the little girl stays balanced. nobara picks up the young girl, rubbing her cheeks against her cheeks.
“ah! wait kugisaki!” yuji feared his sister might activate her biting. he remembered kento telling him about how her biting habits stopped, but yujis definitely been an unfortunate victim.
the young girl allows it to happen, she even embraces it, wrapping her arms around nobaras neck. yuji wanted to be jealous of nobara, that’s his little sister, but watching her giggle, he guesses he can let nobara off the hook.
yuji calls out his sisters name, after grabbing her attention, “these are my friends. the one holding you is kugisaki-”
“nope!” nobara covers the young girls ear playfully making her laugh. she uncovers her ears, “don’t listen to him! i’m big sister bara!” she announces.
yuji’s along with maki’s jaw drops. yuji can’t believe the nerve! and maki was surprised because according to nobara, kids were, ‘sticky and stupid creatures.’
but look at her now, totally fawning over a child she just met!
yuji squinted his eyes in distain at the girl before introducing everyone else. “that’s fushiguro, that’s inumaki, that’s zenin,” getting interrupted by said girl, “don’t call me by my last name.”
“maki,” he corrects, “and last but not least, panda.”
not that the introductions matter, because she wasn’t paying attention at all! it was all going in one ear and out of the other. yuji visibly deflates, groaning in emotion pain.
“anyways, now that you guys are here to help, what should we do?”
megumi thinks for a moment, “no idea.”
useless, next.
inumaki raises his hand with an idea, “tuna mayo!”
sweet girl grimaces, “i’m not liking that.”
rejected, next.
panda looks around for inspiration,he sees a small tea cup set. “what if we had a tea party!”
sweet girl shakes her head pointing at her chair, “my papa and sometimes my baby brother are the only boys who get tea!”
stupid idea panda!
maki’s up next, she hums to herself, “what if we trained?”
sweet girl looked appalled, “get out my house! mama and papa say is danjus!”
yujis nods, “i guess that is dangerous with her around.”
maki, go home!
yujis up next, he’s sweating bullets. he’s seen them all get shot down, “what if we go to the park?”
sweet girl thinks about it before shaking her head, “i don’t want to be seen with any of you.”
yuji felt like exploding, next.
nobara was last up, she had long put the girl down, watching everyone get totally wrecked. but nobara was smart, while everyone was being scolded at, she had the longest chance to look around. then she saw it.
she quickly picked up sweet girl, whispering an idea in her ear.
everyone watched as the young girl who had brutally broken them, get excited. the child’s eyes lit up in excitement, she was nodding aggressively, “i want to do that!”
now here we are, inumaki and megumi were at one table, yuji and panda at another.
this is because they are customers at the ‘restaurant’. you see, nobara told sweet girl that it would be fun to play restaurant, and feed the boys icky food. this excited sweet girl, she also wanted the dangerous girl to eat icky things, but nobara convinced her that maki could be a waitress.
although maki wasn’t happy with this. that’s because sweet girl told her that all good waitresses smile, and maki did not want to smile. especially not at her classmates.
they put maki in one of kentos ties, showing her clear legitimacy of being a waitress. she goes up to megumi and inumaki first. she throws the menu at them, “what do you want to drink?” she asks gritting through her teeth.
megumi opens his mouth, but not before, “and don’t say tea because,” she says your daughters name, “says she won’t serve stinky boys.”
megumi promptly closes his mouth. inumaki goes to speak, but gets interrupted, “forget it. you all are getting water.” she leaves them with the menu before going to throw the menus at yuji and panda.
maki goes to the kitchen where the girls are. she grabs four cups, filling them with water. sweet girl considers firing maki! if you’re not going to at least smile in front of the customers, smile at her!
maki goes to serve the boys their water, starting with what she deemed the stupid table. she heads to yuji and panda, ready to take their orders.
“what do you want?”
yuji hums, he leans closer to maki pointing at the menu, “well, i was wondering if the leftover tonkatsu was gluten free or not.”
maki wanted to wring his neck, yuji lived here! he probably had it last night!
“i’m not going to cater to your weak body. having allergies is a weak trait.”
“ok damn,” yuji whispers, “i’ll just take the tempura that’s for some reason in quotations.”
maki doesn’t even bother writing it down, she looks at panda expectantly. “i’ll indulge in that leftover tonkatsu.”
“whatever.” maki leaves them to give the kitchen the first orders.
when she gives the other girls the orders, they both just look at each other and giggle in excitement.
maki leaves them to it and goes to the tolerable table.
“what do you want to eat?” she asks.
“i’ll take natto and rice.” comes from megumi.
“tuna mayo.”
maki groans in annoyance. she doesn’t even say anything, she just leaves.
the goes back to the kitchen with the new orders. before she says anything, she watches as the “chefs” hunch over plates of food, whispering to each other. she watches as your daughter giggles at whatever nobara is telling her.
“i have the last orders.”
whatever they’re doing, is none of maki’s business. she just works there.
it’s been fifteen minutes since she took the stupid tables order, and now everything is ready.
nobara leaves the kitchen to tell the customers, “out of respect, the head chef has asked that you all eat your dishes at the same time.”
as she’s speaking, maki starts delivering the food to their respective tables.
everyone has now been served.
maki, nobara and sweet girl are standing in a spot where they can see both tables, and both tables can see them.
nobara looks at sweet girl, waiting for her permission. your daughter looks at nobara and gives her a single nod.
“enjoy your meals, you may eat.”
everyone grabs their chopsticks and takes a bite of their food.
it’s been four seconds before everyone except inumaki spits it out.
“yuck!” yells yuji. all the food has been tampered with.
yujis “tempura” was injected with something, spicy???
pandas leftover tonkatsu tasted like it was made with capybara liver!! super gamey in the worst way!
megumis natto was tasting really sour, it also tasted like the color green.
inumaki was fine. his food tasted good, they only added laxatives to his meal.
the three who were unlucky with their food taste wise, were all scraping at their own tongues, trying to get the flavor off.
just then, the front door opens.
you and kento are home! the house is a mess and there’s food that’s gone to waste!
you and kento walk in to an interesting view. your son has seemed to invited his friends, and it seems the food they’ve been served was gross.
your eyebrows were both raised, while kento had his eyes wide open.
this was it for yuji. you wouldn’t want him around anymore.
“um, is anyone hungry for real food?” you asked. although you were confused, it was clear that they weren’t going to eat what was on their plates.
your daughter comes running towards you and kento, “mama! papa!” she jumps in between the two of you, pulling you all into a big hug.
“wait, are you guys not mad? we made a mess and this food is totally inedible now.”
you and kento look at each other before looking at yuji. you go up to him, ruffling his hair, “if a mess and a little wasted food makes my kids happy, i suppose i can’t be to mad. besides, you and i both know no one in this house truly eats leftovers.” you shrug.
yuji just wraps his arms around you in a tight hug. “yeah, i want to go eat.”
just as everyone is ready to go out, “wait! you guys didn’t pay for your food!”
seems like sweet girl wanted paying customers.
kento laughs, crouching to his daughters small height, “here you go honey.” he hands her a ¥10000 bill.
she lifts it up squealing in excitement.
though the three boys who were subjected to the awful food felt offended. she practically poisoned them and she gets money?!
as they all get ready to leave, inumaki starts feeling a slight tummy ache coming on. ‘huh, probably nothing’, he shrugs.

every time i visit my wife at work, i fall a little more in love <3 1,086 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
hiromi’s excited. the new suit he ordered was a size to small. now some might say get a refund, or return it in for the correct size. but not for hiromi.
this accident gives him an excuse to go bug love on his wife at her work. he’s on his way to go see you, when he walks to the train station, there’s a clear pep in his step.
you however are busy helping a client. an older woman whose dress had ripped in three different spots. she said her grandchildren had gotten ahold of the dress, and wanted to make it “stylish.”
you don’t mind though, because the kind woman even brought the original design for the dress, making it easier to fix it.
the woman is chatting to you, about her husband. she says he’s always ignoring her and constantly drinking. you feel bad for the woman, no one should feel overlooked.
the doors bell rings, announcing someone has entered. you don’t look up, focused on not only the woman’s dress, but her feelings on her husband.
the older woman has her shoulder tapped on, she looks behind her to find a man. he’s tall with dark hair and tired eyes.
be gives the woman a small smile, “is this the line to talk to the pretty tailor?”
the woman gasps, “oh my!”
you look up, it’s your husband. “hi hon,” you smile at him, causing him to tilt his head, “what are you doing here?”
he brings a suit in front of him to see, careful not to hit the older woman with it.
“size to big.”
you raise an eyebrow, “you didn’t want to return it?”
he laughs shyly, “well, this gives me an excuse to visit my gorgeous wife.”
you shake your head at his corny response, while the elder woman giggles. “young lady you didn’t tell me you were married as well! and here i was complaining about my husband when i could have been hearing about this charming young man!”
your cheeks warm at the attention, “i really don’t mind hearing you talk miss kiyoko.”
“my wife is too quiet sometimes. even at home she’d rather hear me talk. although, if i’m being honest, hearing her is the highlight of my day.”
miss kiyoko awes at the confession, “why couldn’t i have met someone like you when i was your age?! i wouldn’t be stuck with my deadbeat husband!”
hiromi furrows his eyebrows in confusion, “may i ask why you’re still with him ma’am?”
the woman doesn’t say anything, she looks like the question confuses her. hiromi thinks he might’ve offended the woman.
before he can apologize, “i’m still with him because he’s the only constant in my life. yes i have my kids and grandkids, but i’ve known my husband for sixty seven years. if i’m being honest, if i left him, i don’t think i could ever truly be myself.”
and honestly, that scares hiromi. what if one day you feel to co-dependent to leave him? you only feel obligated to stay with fun for the sake of “being yourself”. he starts to sweat a little, he’d rather die than make you feel that way.
you must know what he’s thinking, because you’re looking right at him. your face shows nothing, i mean, you normally don’t, but right now it’s scaring him.
but then, his fear fades whenever you shake your head. assuring him that, no, you don’t ever feel that way with him. he feels like he can relax a bit, he’ll have to talk to you whenever you guys get home.
“ahh, but enough about me, while we wait for my dress to finish, tell me something. tell me all the details about the two of you.”
“how nosey miss kiyoko.”
she looks your way and slaps the top of your head gently, “i liked it better when you just listened!”
you laugh at the theatrics of the woman. “what do you want to know miss kiyoko?” you ask.
she thinks about it, looking at hiromi, “how did the two of you meet? and when should i expect to see you pregnant.”
hiromi flushes at the woman, cheeks red. you shake your head, laughing, “nosey AND invasive miss kiyoko. do i need to kick you out?”
miss kiyoko rolls her eyes, “don’t be coy,” she says your name, “you talk about kids all the time. i just didn’t know you had a husband who could do that for you.”
rolling your eyes, laughing at the woman, “we met when he was in law school and i was working part time as a librarian in the school.”
hiromi smiles at the reminder, “don’t water our meeting down hon. tell her the truth.”
you feel your cheeks warm in embarrassment. when you were younger, you were a lot more outspoken and loud. you still speak out when needed, but you more or less keep to yourself.
hiromi keeps on, “she was working when she saw me studying. she came up to me and demanded i give her my number. when i asked why i would do that, she told me that she liked my face and would be a crime to not to go out with her. claiming, ‘a lawyer committing a crime won’t look good for clients.’ i knew it then i wanted her in my life.”
miss kiyoko is so tickled at the news. she just laughs and pats your head while you look down in embarrassment.
hiromi on the other hand, is proud. he’s proud to be your husband. spending the rest of his life with you is the only thing that matters to him. he watches as miss kiyoko teases you, he smiles as you retaliate her teasing, ‘i’m going to rip this dress!’ you threaten. miss kiyoko scolds her finger at you, ‘we’ve known each other for years and you kept everything interesting a secret!’
he laughs at your offended face.
that night, hiromi confronts you.
the two of you are lying down together, him holding you in his arms.
“i don’t ever want you to feel scared to leave me.” he whispers while you’re on the verge of sleep.
“huh?”
“it’s just that miss kiyoko won’t leave her husband of fear of not being herself. i don’t want to become her husband, and i don’t want you to become her.”
you look at hiromi, whose already looking at you.
you laugh, pecking his lips.
“you are so cute!”
“i’m being serious!”

satoru regrets introducing you to megumi and tsumiki ! 1,556 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
“well babe, this is why i’m always gone! meet tsumiki and megumi!” he shouts, using his arms to make the introduction more dramatic. “megumi is toji’s kid.” he whispers the loud part.
not quietly enough, because the young boy rolls his eyes at satoru. “this guy stinks.” he mutters to the small girl next to him. the girl gives him a pout, “that’s not nice megumi!” she scolds quietly.
you don’t know what to say. i mean, your boyfriend came back with two children, even claiming one of them was the from sorcerer killer, toji.
you look between the two children. the girl gives you a polite smile, along with a gentle wave. the boy however, looks away, putting his hands into his pockets.
“so you weren’t breaking your vow of less sweets?” you ask, but not looking away on the kids.
“yup! no vows broken over here! i’m an honorable man.” he puts a hand over his chest.
“that’s not true,” the boy speaks up, “he’s always taking us for ice cream even when we want normal food.”
your eye twitches at that. satoru is always complaining about stomach aches after eating to many sweets, even begging you to let him be the little spoon when the two of you cuddle so that you can hold his stomach!
satoru nervously laughs, “c’mon, the kids obviously lying, i’m super responsible!”
the boy scowls at satoru, flipping him off.
that gets a laugh out of you, satoru being flipped off by a child who barely reaches his stomach.
you crouch down towards the two kids, “hi kiddos, i’m,” you tell them your name, offering a smile, “i hope satoru hasn’t cause you any problems. i know how annoying he can be.”
that earns you a small ‘hey!’ from satoru. “it’s ok missy, he wasn’t that annoying! and i’m tsumiki, this is megumi!”
although megumi disagrees, “no, he was super annoying.” his face is so emotionless when he say that, but is voice tells the tale. yep, satoru definitely caused this kids some sort of trouble.
you don’t say anything but ruffle both the kids hair, causing megumi to groan, but tsumiki giggles.
“do you guys have plenty of clothes? what about toys and proper food?” you ask the last part, looking slightly at satoru.
“oh um. me and megumi have enough clothes to get us by. we just use the washing machine a lot.”
you were going to kill satoru. how long has he known these kids exactly? and why was the only thing he seemingly bought them was ice cream.
your eyebrows furrow, pout on your lips. “well that’s not good.” tsumiki shrugs in response, not really minding.
you walk up to satoru, wrapping your arms around his waist, “really,” he teases, “the kids are right here.” he wraps his arms around you, holding you close.
it doesn’t last for long, as you dig in his back pocket for his wallet and leave his arms.
“aha! got it. let’s go shopping for some new clothes.”
tsumiki giggles at the look of satoru’s face, while megumi grimaces, “gross.”
satoru thinks he should’ve left those two in their dingy apartment. well not really, he’s more than happy to get megumi out of any zenin clutches, and keeping him and tsumiki together.
but in this moment, he wishes he left them in their dingy apartment. because right now, he’s walking behind the three of you, tsumiki holding your hand, and megumi walking slightly behind your legs.
he can’t hear what she’s saying, but he can see tsumiki animatedly talking to you, using her free hand to exaggerate what she’s saying. he sees you reacting appropriately to each and every single thing the girl is saying.
he can also see megumi shaking his head at tsumiki when he disagrees with something she says. every time he shakes his head, you and tsumiki giggle with him.
but satorus fine, this will all be fine. eventually, you’ll get over the novelty of cute kids, and go back to giving your attention to your cute boyfriend, right?
wrong.
it’s been four month, and the kids still have all of your attention.
the first time satoru thought he was going to get some alone time with you, megumi got sick with the flu. he assumed that you would give him some medicine and continue on with the date that he planned to last all day.
he assumed wrong, because the second you found out megumi was sick. you made the boy homemade oden. he was furious! the first time satoru got sick, you completely avoided him because you claimed, “my immune system is as strong as ichiji!”
satoru only let it slide because the dig at ichiji was funny! but then he got upset again when you sent a digital card with a sad puppy dog on it saying, “get well soon, woof!”
not even a physical card! digital!!
he walks into megumis’ room, he’s lying on his bed with blankets covering him, a small wet rag on his forehead. but he’s not alone, you’re on the bed checking his temperature.
“how are you feeling megumiii?” satoru walks in, dragging out the boys name. megumi groans and gives satoru a stink face, “even worse.”
satorus face drops at your laughter. “babeeee. it’s not funny.” he whines, running into your arms, wrapping himself around you.
you out satorus face away from his face, kissing his forehead, “what a drama queen.” you tease. satoru doesn’t even mind, the fact that you’re giving him attention is enough.
“can you not? i’m sick enough.” megumi whines, rubbing his face with his tiny hand.
“don’t be jealous megumi. i get alll her kisses and affection!” satoru gloats as he rubs his face against your shoulder.
the boy rolls his eyes, “you’re not special. she kisses me and tsumiki good night when she thinks we’re sleeping.”
satoru gasps, “you’re lying right?” he looks towards you, “tell me this booger eater is lying!”
you suck your teeth awkwardly and that tell satoru everything. he get up from his position form on top of you, and walks back slowly.
“i just- i just need to go lie down.” he walks away.
megumi doesn’t care, rolling his eyes.
“can we finish the story?”
then something similar happened with tsumiki. this was only two weeks of knowing the kids.
the kids get back from school, and tsumiki has a rip on her shirt.
“hey miki, c’mere. what’s that?” you ask, pointing to her long sleeve.
tsumiki looks down at her sleeve, shrugging. “i don’t know. this is the shirt i wear the most so i’m not sure when this happened.”
tsumiki doesn’t care, it doesn’t bother her. but it bothers you.
even though you were able to convince her to let satoru you buy clothes, she still never wore them.
“what happened to the pretty clothes i got you hmm?” you ask, putting your hand against her face and rubbing her cheek.
tsumiki looks away, “i’m sorry. i just feel bad wearing it. you and mister toru bought us nice clothes and we don’t want them to mess up like our old stuff.”
satoru comes in, “what’s this about old stuff?” he asks, nosy.
tsumiki looks close to tears, like the thought of someone spending money on her for things she wants is wrong.
“tsumiki is worried that she and megumi will mess up the new stuff we got them.”
tsumiki nods, holding a hand over her teary eye, looking down.
“well that’s silly.”
tsumiki freezes and looks up. “huh?”
satoru just smiles and comes close to the two of you, crouching to meet tsumikis height.
“clothes are meant to be worn and loved. meant to be showed off to the world. what’s the point of having cool clothes if no one sees it?”
tsumiki doesn’t move, but you can see her thinking about it. “you’re right! thank you,” she shouts your name. she gives you a hug, running to her closet.
satorus mouth drops. “you??”
although you don’t seem shocked, “it’s probably because it sounded like something i would say.”
satoru grunted, it’s not like you were wrong, he was thinking about what you would tell the young girl.
“whatever,” he starts, “are you almost ready for our date?” he asks, wiggling his eyebrows oddly.
“nope.”
“whaddya mean no!”
you smile at him, “tsumiki understands that the clothes she’s given is meant to be worn, not preserved. i’m going to take her shopping now that she knows that it’s ok to wear nice things.”
satoru hated how compassionate you were. he should’ve been out all day with you, spoiling you because he loves you.
but then satoru understood, you’re doing the same thing. you’re out here buying things and spoiling these kids because you love them.
satoru loves how compassionate you are. you probably wouldn’t have ended up petting him take you out after all the (honestly, really embarrassing) rejections.
ok, tsumiki can have you, just for today.
are you serious?!
satoru has been needing some really one on one time with you, he was hoping that when he came home after his week long mission, he would have your undivided attention.
but when he walks in the apartment, on a saturday night, he sees the love of his life with her love of her life. well, loves plural.
because satoru comes home to the sight of you, tsumiki and megumi on the couch. you’re in the middle, tsumiki on your left, megumi your left. both kids have an arm wrapped around you, megumis face is in your side and tsumiki has her head on your chest.
the t.v. is on, playing some children’s movie, it’s quiet. he figures the kids fell asleep first, and you turned it down.
‘so much for alone time.’ he thinks.
his thoughts seem annoyed, but his face has a soft smile. satoru can’t wait until the morning to see you guys. to see his family.

yujis school was doing a bake sale to raise funds for a new playground. they playground that the school had started to rot over the years. it was honestly a bit of a safely hazard and the teachers were doing small temporary fixes to try and help.
unfortunately, after a storm had hit, the playground had completely tipped over and pieces broke off. this obviously devastated the kids so the school staff had an idea to have a bake sale to make money for new playground equipment.
yuji of course, was ecstatic about the revelation! he knew choso and his girlfriend would make so much money from a bake sale! he was so excited to tell you and choso about this.
so when yuji got home that day, he handed a flyer about the bake sale fundraiser to choso.
“what’s this yuji?” choso asks raising an eyebrow. yuji is bouncing on the sole of his feet, “it’s a bake sale for a new play set at school! our last one flew into the sky my teacher said!”
choso smiles at the excitement from him, he ruffles yujis hair before reading the flyer.
‘to whoever this may concern,
the school has decided to put on a bake sale as a fundraiser for new playground equipment. the storm from last saturday.
if you plan on participating, please contact,
xxx-xxx-xxxx.
best regards, our schools staff.’
“choso please call titi and see if she can help? i want to have a new playground!” yuji explains tugging on chosos’ sleeve.
and that’s how we got here. you, choso and yuji are currently in your apartment, brainstorming ideas on what to bake.
you have yuji on your lap, with choso sitting next to you, his arms wrapped around you.
“titi i wanna eat dora yaki!” he said lifting his head up to look at you.
you laugh at his antics, “yuji we’re supposed to make desserts to sell, not eat silly!”
yujis face drops, “wait, but titi i want to eat something yummy, not sell it!”
you pat his head gently, “how about we make a special batch? a yuji only batch.”
choso gasps dramatically and puts his hand over his mouth, “no way? a yuji only batch? i’m super jealous!”
at his brothers (clearly real and raw) reaction, yuji nodded his head in approval, “i guess that works.” he gives a shy, but a clearly happy smile.
so here’s the deal. in the kitchen, everyone was given a specific task to do.
choso admittedly, can’t bake to save his life. well actually that’s not true, he could if he was by himself, but the fact that you were even in his vicinity has him constantly distracted. he’s always staring at you, because watching you interact with yuji gives him butterflies to the point where he can’t think.
so choso was in charge of cleaning up after you and yuji were finished with things like bowls and counter top space. he was also in charge of playing music, unfortunately for him, every time a song that yuji didn’t like came on, yuji would pretend to be up and have you ‘scold’ choso.
yujis job was to make the chocolate chip cookies. they were a simple dessert that would be hard to mess up. besides, yuji was excited to help fund money for a new playground!
you were in charge of making dora yaki and cornetts. and yeah you were biased as yuji loved dora yaki and choso constantly talks about cornetts. don’t even get him started.
honestly, having choso even in the same building as you while making cornetts needed to come with a warning.
“ok yuji, can you grab the measuring cup that says 1/4 and pour three of those in the bowl using sugar?” you gently ask yuji, looking at him from the side of your peripheral as you get ready to make the custard.
yuji looks around the counter for the measuring cup before grabbing it and nodding. “mmhm! i can do that!”
before you can look back at yuji to thank him and make sure he uses the normal sugar and not powdered, choso comes up behind you and wraps his arms around you.
“the custard is smelling sooo good.” he drawls out. he sniffs the air, “or maybe it’s my girlfriend that’s smelling so sweet.” he teases.
you cringe at the flirting, “do you mind sir? i’m trying to focus on this custard.” your voice sounding stern but the smile on your face says a different story.
“i’m done with the sugar titi!” you look over to see yuji pointing at the bowl, he looks proud. you look in the bowl, it looks a little more than 3/4 but you assumed he wanted it extra sweet.
you nod in approval, “good job yuji! start mixing.”
the bake sale starts on a friday. it’s after the school day ends, when guardians come to bring the bake sale treats. it’s a sunny day, partly cloudy and a cool breeze.
everyone is outside standing behind a table with baked goods. you, choso and yuji have a table filled with three desserts. you made dora yaki along with cornetts. yujis chocolate chip cookies. and choso was there.
the bake sale was set to last for three hours after the school day ended.
for the first fifteen minutes, people came by to look around and see what you guys had to offer, but ultimately no one bought anything.
another fifteen minutes pass and one person bought something. all she bought was one cornett, and that was it.
thirty minutes passed. nothing.
“titi why is no one coming? are my cookies not good enough to get a new playset?” choso can’t stand to see yuji look like this. pouty and slightly teary eyed.
“aww yuji,” you pull him into you, petting his hair, “someone is going to come and buy one of your cookies and they’re going to be addicted!”
although your words sound nice, yuji isn’t convinced, and it’s all over his face. you look at choso who’s already looking at you.
“she’s right yuji,” he goes closer to the two of you, bring you guys into a hug. “you’re cookies will be a hit.”
although yuji doesn’t believe it, he’s willing to put on a brave face.
and unfortunately for yuji, not a single person has stopped by your table in the last hour.
the bake sale only has an hour left, and still only one thing was bought. yujis lying on one of the chairs, he cried himself to sleep. you and choso consider buying the treats yourself so that when he wakes up, he’ll think people came.
“i feel bad cho. yujis going to be heart broken when he wakes up.” choso hates seeing you upset. he’d rather take a bullet to the foot than see even a slight frown on your face.
“i know angel. we will just have to cheer him up.” he wraps you into his arms, bringing you close. “how about a sleepover at my apartment and we watch that weird movie he loves, y’know, the freaky worm one.”
choso snorts at the explanation, “yeah,” he kisses your forehead, “he’d definitely love that.”
before you start grabbing the things to put away, yuji wakes up. “no one still bought anything titi? not even my cookies?”
you go to comfort yuji before, “hello! can i buy some treats?”
yuji perks up at the voice, “yes!” he quickly scrambles out of the chair, running to serve the lady.
you and choso smile at each other, watching the interaction between yuji and the woman.
and soon enough, a small line started to appear for order.
and yuji couldn’t be happier! people wanted to buy stuff, even his cookies were a hit!
choso was also a hit with the old ladies. they kept pinching his cheeks, “what a handsome young man!” they would exclaim.
every time it happened you and yuji would look at each other and snicker, while choso looked at you for help.
by the end of the bake sale, everything sold, except for a single cookie that yuji hid for himself.
while packing up going to leave, “titi i saved us a cookie!” you and choso looked back at yuji who was beaming, holding up his cookie like a trophy.
“what a sneaky boy.” you teased.
“here!” yuji snaps a small piece of cookie for the three of you. “cheers!”
you and choso give a ‘cheers’ back before biting into the cookie.
YUCK.
what is that?!
you and choso spit the cookies out into your hands.
the two of you look at yuji who’s humming in delight, nodding his head, “not bad.” he says to himself.
you really hoped no one wanted their money back!

a/n: this was a request :)! thank you for reading, i love you (. .*)β
I have been binge reading your fics and oh my goddddddddddd ahahahahhahahahahahah I love them soooooo much , i mean it melts my heart and I smile soooo much 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
this is soooo sweet!! thank you so much for the kind words :) i’m glad it makes you smile ❤️❤️
I just found your blog the other day and I love the fluffy fics you write! If you are taking requests, can you write something about Choso and his girlfriend preparing for a bake sale? Little brother Yuji can be in it too 🤭 he can try to make his own treats and on the day of the sale, no one shows up or buys anything at first. Choso, the reader, and Yuji start to get nervous that they won’t sell anything but then, they eventually end up selling out! I hope this is an alright request — thank you 🪻🌸🌷🌼
this is such a cute idea!! i can definitely do that! i’ll link it here when i’m done :)
story here!
umm no yuji, that’s actually MY girlfriend. 1,083 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
choso loves his girlfriend. he loves that she’s someone he can rely on, whether it’s for good or bad. and he especially loves that she gets along with his younger brother, yuji.
but there’s one small, teeny tiny issue choso has with dating you. it’s that yuji finds himself wanting your attention more than chosos. and what’s worse is you give in to it!
everytime choso wants some alone time with you, boom, yuji’s calling your phone from his dads phone. choso plans a date? boom, choso becomes the third wheel. he loves his little brother, but man, it’s like he doesn’t even have a girlfriend anymore!
but it was a wednesday that became chosos breaking point.
“will you marry me one day titi?”
chosos eyes widened at the proposal. his eyes got even wider after your answer.
“awww yuji! let’s get married today before me and cho have to take you home ok?”
choso can’t believe this. his little brother just proposed and you said yes?? what were you thinking. although he was mad, it also warmed his heart to see yuji jumping around, spinning with joy.
“yay titi! yay!” you laugh at little yuji’s antics.
it wasn’t hard to tell that yuji had a small crush on you. after every time he would tell you “i love you” he would give your cheek a peck. or he was always giving you flowers that he found in the school’s playground. but the easiest to tell, was whenever you speak to him, his cheeks go as pink as the hair on his head.
it was a small childish crush, you had those when you were younger on the cute girl who used to babysit you and teach you addition.
you understood that you probably should have said no to the proposal, but yuji was just so cute! you didn’t have the heart to tell him no, it would crush him!
so here you are now, planning a wedding for you and a six year old. with yuji on your lap, you both look through your laptop planning the wedding, looking for inspiration on whether you should have pink flowers or red ones.
“i like these ones titi!” he point at pink camellias, “they are pink like my hair so it will match! right titi?” his excitement has your heart tingling in cuteness aggression.
“ahh i see, i see. those are really pretty yuji! i’ll have choso pick it up.”
choso is in disbelief, now he’s an errand boy for his girlfriends wedding?
“oh what kind of cake should we get yuji? choso can pick that up too.”
choso watches as yuji puts his small hand to his chin and thinks with a large amount of concentration.
“strawberry!” you hum in agreement, not that you wouldn’t have disagreed with any flavor yuji chose.
“i hope your writing this down choso.”
choso sighs, all he can do is watch the love of his life get married to his baby brother, “yes ma’am.”
it’s time for the wedding to commence.
the wedding was ready, with all of its guests consisting of, choso, sukuna and jin.
the bride and groom were both in their best dressed. yuji in a t shirt with a tuxedo printed on, and you wearing a simple dress that is majority white.
choso and company (literally just sukuna and jin) were also in their best dressed wearing black shirts and black pants.
yuji stood at the end of an isle that you walk to by walking over toilet paper. he has your ring ready, and he looks to the wedding officiant, whose his favorite stuffed animal, nervous.
sukuna groans and starts the wedding music from his phone, waiting for you to walk down the isle.
chosos is agony at the fact that it’s not him your walking towards, sukuna notices this and laughs at his misfortune.
jin politely claps as you walk past.
you make it to yuji, giving him a smile and ruffling his hair. he give a quiet, “hi titi.” while showing off all his teeth.
yuji looks at the ‘priest’ and then saying out loud as to translate, “no one is obhecting right?”
“objecting” you quietly corrected.
“objecting!” he repeats.
jin looks towards choso who’s shaking rabidly in his seat. noticing this, jin tried to grab his attention and shake his head no.
that seems to help.
“you’re just going to let him steal your girl like that?! don’t be a wimp.” sukuna eggs him on.
“sukuna quiet!” jin whispers loudly.
choso abruptly stands.
“i object!”
jin slaps his hand onto his face in annoyance.
yuji looks at you, at choso, back to you.
he shrugs, “i don’t really care, i only asked for courtesy. i still gonna marry her.”
sukuna slaps his hand onto his knee from the situation.
choso on the other hand is in shock and doesn’t move. jin grabs to back of chosos shirt, pulling him down.
“i wanna give you your ring titi!” yuji digs in his pants, and out he pulls out a candy ring ready to give it to you. “it’s pink like my hair titi!”
you laugh at his cuteness, retrieving his ring from the side of the “alter”. it’s also a candy ring, except yours is purple. it reminds you of choso.
you and yuji put your rings on respectively, while jin claps his hands in the background.
yuji looks at his stuffed animal, “he said to kiss the bride!”
you kneel down to yuji’s height, offering him your cheek. he happily accepts, even blowing a small raspberry when he’s done.
“my turn! my turn!” you tickle his sides before peppering his tiny face with kisses.
choso watches as you give his little brother the attention he deserves.
“thats it.” choso mutters to himself. he walks up to you and yuji, grabbing your hand and walking away.
instead of feeling upset, yuji laughs yelling, “bye wife titi!”
choso groans as you laugh at the nickname. you wave at yuji, along with sukuna and jin, “bye you guys!”
that night in yours and chosos shared apartment, he lays his head on your chest as you play with his hair.
“you can’t possibly still be upset choso.” you tease him.
he hmphs in retaliation, “sure he has your heart now, but i’ll be damned if he keeps it.”
you smile at his dramatics, “you already have my heart hon.”
choso immediately has to go to the bathroom to deal with his nosebleed.

toji as the clan heir au! the zenin and matron clan start wedding preparations! 1,691 words!
part one! part three!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
you couldn’t believe it. toji seemed cold and distant from the conversation when you first came in, all of a sudden he’s agreeing for the marriage between the zenin and matron clan?!
hell, even looking at the guy right now, he’s still laughing. “toji, you can’t be serious. you’ve seen how this insolent woman spoke to me!”
naobito was seething, he offered you (what he believed to be an opportunity of a lifetime) a marriage arrangement that would benefit you and your clan.
not that helping was his initial intention of course, he only planned to use you for giving the zenins a future heir. and the fact that it all went so poorly on his side really pissed him off.
toji shrugged his shoulders at his uncles complaint, “i don’t know naobito, you had the idea for me to marry her. don’t tell me you brought her all the way here just to make her turn back now.”
you see toji smirking, and you’re not sure if it’s because he actually wants to marry you, or he loves trying to put his uncle in an early grave. you believed it was the latter.
“listen toji, if you’re uncle says the marriage is off, we should probably call it off. i wouldn’t want to put a more visible strain between the clans.”
naobito reluctantly agreed with tomoko, “i was thinking the same thing.” he nods. his voice sounds pleasant enough, but his face tells a different story.
toji laughs at that, “i don’t really give a damn what my uncle says. this will be my marriage not his. he wants me to get married for the clan? then i’m choosing my wife.”
and that’s how we got here. wedding planning. and it was more stressful than you could have ever imagined.
it was your own fault though really. you asked toji if you could plan the wedding, “toji, i know this is a marriage of convenience, but, do you think i could maybe plan the wedding like it’s not?”
toji looked at you, and it was clear that not only did you look slightly embarrassed, but you seemed quite shy.
toji gave you a look, it wasn’t exactly soft, but his face wasn’t all that intimidating. “you wanna plan the wedding sweetheart? go and plan your dream wedding.”
and now here you are, sifting through the best floral arrangements. you want to go with something that can compliment his eyes. those eyes that are a beautiful deep green, they remind you of the water from a koi pond you saw when you were younger.
you wanted the wedding to be something enjoyable, something beautiful. you wanted to plan the wedding because you feared it would be the last thing you have control over before marrying into the zenin clan.
after the wedding, you’ll be forced to be a statue, someone who can’t talk without permission, you’ll have constant eyes on you, and if you mess up you will be punished.
so this wedding is your last change at being a person. and even though it was the bare minimum, you couldn’t help but be somewhat grateful for toji. he could’ve said no and not even have a nice wedding.
you didn’t know it, but toji was interested to see what you had planned. he doesn’t know anything about you really, other than the fact that he loved seeing you go off on his uncle of course.
toji wanted to see what sort of dreams you had when it came to this wedding. what did you in-vision, i mean, this is supposed to be the happiest day of your life.
instead, you’re planning what you believe to be the last day of freedom.
toji somewhat pitied you. toji believes you should’ve gotten married for love. he knows it’s technically his fault for the marriage, but it was either him, or an old man who would beat you for looking in his direction.
“tomoko why didn’t you tell me wedding planning was so stressful? i feel like my hairline will go past my ears if i keep looking at all my options.” tomoko laughs at your dramatics, petting your hair gently.
“i’m not sure why you’re asking me, i’ve never gotten married. and you know the women of the matron clan tend to live life single.”
you groan in disappointment. you lay your head onto the table, looking at tomoko.
“hey, tomo?”
she hums and looks at you, she looked at you like you held the moon. she also noted that you seemed nervous.
“will-” the words struggle to come out. it’s not like she’ll say no either, but the thought of sharing an intimate moment with the woman you think of as your mother has your chest tingle.
“will you walk me down the isle?”
tomoko stops petting your head out of shock. after a couple of seconds, you feel her hand shake. you also see tears start to form in her eyes.
she lifts your head up from the table, putting you in an upright position, pulling you into her chest. her heart is beating fast.
“of course my child. i would love nothing more.”
you see toji down the isle. tomoko is interlocking her elbows with yours.
you look beautiful. you’re wearing a shiromuku, the zenins believed that traditional wedding attire and arrangements was the only way to go.
and that’s the only thing the zenins got right, because the way the kimono looked on you with the sun shining down and the petals falling, you looked like a dream.
toji sees you from down down the isle. he looks at you surrounded by the wedding ceremony that you put together. he thinks you made the right choice with everything.
the shrine maidens that follow behind you and tomoko really tie everything together. there’s no empty space, and he hopes after the two of you marry, there won’t be a space between the two of you either.
toji remembers what you asked of him before the wedding.
“toji, i know this is a big ask and asking to plan the wedding myself was more than enough and i can’t thank you enough for that.” toji raises his eyebrows, not knowing what to expect next.
“when i walk down the isle, and when i meet you there, can you pretend we’re in love? i know that this is all for the sake of our clans, but, i always imagined when i got married it would be out of love. i’m selfishly asking you to pretend you love me.”
toji doesn’t say anything at first. he stares at you, thinking of your request.
“i wouldn’t count on it sweetheart.”
toji must have been lying, because the way he’s looking at you right now tells a different story.
his jaw is slightly dropped, eyes widened. he doesn’t believe it. now toji never thought you were ugly, he always thought you were beautiful. he never wanted himself to feel any certain way towards you.
but you are making it very difficult.
toji sees the look on your face. your face looks happy, content even, but your eyes look very sad. toji imagines that right now in your head, you’re playing pretend. pretending that you’re getting married to a man you love, maybe even telling yourself that you love toji himself.
and at the sad, sad thought, toji doesn’t see the harm in following through with your initial request. so he promises to himself that here in front of everyone, in front of you, he will be in love with you.
just for tonight.
you walk down the isle, now standing right in front of toji. he looks handsome, his clothing is fancy too. his montsuki haori looks expensive, and it’s a shame this is the only time you’ll ever see it.
toji just stares at you, he has no words to express how he’s feeling, “hello toji.” you whisper. the air is quiet other than the birds softly chirping in the distance.
“hey sweetheart. you look good.” toji can’t tell you that good is an understatement.
you give him a small smile, muttering a, ‘thank you.’ he offers a nod in return.
the time has come for the bride and groom to kiss. after the kiss, you will no longer be apart of the matron clan. instead, you are to be a zenin.
“you may now kiss the bride.”
toji hesitates for a moment, lifting his hand but not enough to touch you.
rolling your eyes, you drop your flowers. using one hand to grab the back of his neck, the other going to the side of his head and gripping his hair.
you put your lips on his, messily kissing him, and with no sort of hesitation whatsoever, does toji kiss you back.
there’s a couple of elders from the zenin clan who gasp in horror, while some members of the matron clan laugh, clapping their hands.
during the reception for the wedding, you decide to speak with toji. “thank you for allowing me to plan the wedding toji. i know it could’ve just been us and an officiant. but you let me have a big fancy wedding.”
toji looks at you with red ears, “if im going to be the zenins clan leader one day, i can’t do it alone. so keeping my pretty wife happy will work in the long run.”
he’s lying. he could’ve easily done it alone. hell, he could’ve done it blindfolded and balancing on one foot.
“oh, and thank you for help me out too. i’m really happy you changed your mind last minute.”
ah, right.
you asked toji to look in love.
“well sweetheart, when you look as good as you do, pretending ain’t that hard.”
you don’t say anything, and you don’t need to. the silence said everything it needed to.
you didn’t say anything about how his comment made you feel.
and toji didn’t tell you that he wasn’t pretending.
you both understood what the other meant, and to that, tomoko who’s looking at the two of you from afar, couldn’t be more grateful.

toji as the clan heir au! the zenin clan has their eyes on you to marry their next heir! 2,010 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
if you were to say that the zenin clan was cruel, no one would disagree. their clan was full of misogynistic rhetoric, women in the clan would never be treated equally. and besides the women in the clan, the maids were treated even worse.
but none of these things are true for another clan. your clan. you see, your clan actually relied heavily on the women, they were the ones who were in charge, in power.
your clan is frowned upon other clans for it, but no one cared. the clan had been a matriarch, and others had dubbed the clan “clan of matrons.” it had meant to be used as an insult, but it backfired when the women of the clan started calling the clan, “matron clan.”
the use of a last name in the clan title was useless, because no matter how far back in history they went, a last name from the family tree would have always been from a man.
the matron clan wasn’t exactly thriving. because not many agreed with the matriarchy, they wanted nothing to do with them. that meant no one wanted to marry into, or marry anyone from the clan.
it started at a business party. well party is exaggerating it. it consisted of many clans dressing up and marrying off their children. the matron clan was there, as were the zenins.
the head of the matron clan was only there for pleasantries, she had no plans of marrying of anyone for any sort of agreement.
naobito was there on behalf of the zenin clan, and he did have plans of marrying someone off. his nephew toji zenin. and if you were to ask naobito why he wouldn’t marry off naoya and make him head clan leader, he would tell you it’s because naoya was a coward.
toji was what naobito wanted in a son. physically at least, toji had some options that he didn’t agree with, but he believes in due time he could change that.
the leader of the matron clan wasn’t alone, she was with a woman. the woman was beautiful. just by looking at her, you couldn’t tell she was in the matron clan. and naobito approaching them was an oversight on his part.
“ahh tomoko. who’s this young lady you’re with?” naobito thinks if the introduction goes well, you might be interested in the zenins.
the woman, tomoko, makes a face at the man but doesn’t shoo him off. “hello zenin. this young woman is,” she states your name, and you can note it softens, “she’s been with our clan since she was young.”
naobito wasn’t expecting that, and it was an issue. if you were with the matron clan, there was no chance tomoko would marry you off.
you give the zenin a small nod in acknowledgment, which he returns.
“so you took her in? that’s not something that happens often, what makes her special?”
tomoko looks at the zenin before looking back at you. “a clan member found her nearby after some foreigners fled the country. seems they weren’t fit to be parents. no matter because she was a blessing.”
although naobito was listening, he didn’t really care. he was just trying to appease the woman. the hums in thought before, “very generous of you tomoko. as expected of the matron clan to bring kindness to all women.”
tomoko wasn’t buying it, “cut the bullshit zenin. what did you come over here for?” naobito just grinned, “well tomoko how about a marriage between our two humble clans?”
before tomoko could decline he keeps going, “i mean, come on tomoko, the others understand the issues from within the clan.” this gets your attention.
“issues? what issues tomo?” you looked at her with wide eyes. at the subject, tomoko looked at naobito with anger.
he simply laughs in her face, “what’s this tomoko? keeping secrets from the girl, she’s old enough to know about the problems you’ve caused.” he revealed the information. not to help, but to take control of the situation.
“tomoko please tell me it’s not true. i’m twenty six, i’m old enough to handle difficult discussions like this.” tomoko looks at you. you’re right, she shouldn’t have kept this from you. but to her, you’re still the baby that was brought to her in that baby blue blanket.
tomoko sighs, clearly frustrated, “not now,” she says your name gently, “i will explain when we get back.” she receives a nod from you in return. “and you,” she looks at naobito, “you have some nerve coming over here offering something as ridiculous as a marriage agreement.
this simply makes naobito grin harder, “this is exactly why your clan is struggling, you have a hard time making arrangements with your fellow clans. i do have to ask, how long until your clan can’t financially support itself?”
you stare at naobito, and tomoko hates it, because you’re looking at him like he just answered a lingering question. before she could stop you, “i can find someone willing to marry into the clan tomoko. i understand the zenins are difficult, but you must prioritize the clan.”
tomoko knew you were going to suggest something like that. that’s the issue, she has tried marrying a woman off into other clans. but the women know that as soon as they leave the matron clan, they will have no power, no importance, no voice.
she doesn’t have the heart to tell you she’s already tried, “and if i can’t, i’ll do it. i’ll get married to wherever you need me.”
tomoko thinks that if naobito wasn’t right there, she would’ve cried at your thoughtfulness. you weren’t dumb, you understood why finding someone to leave the clan would be hard, that’s why you were willing to do it yourself.
“well why waste time trying? i say you seem ready enough.” tomoko realizes, there’s not anyone she hates in the world more than naobito zenin.
toji zenin does not want to get married. not for love, not for business, not for peace, not anything. if he had it his way, he’d become the zenin clan leader without a wife. he’d do it alone because it’s always been that way. lonely.
so when toji was told by naobito that he found toji a wife, he was pissed. toji wasn’t dumb, he didn’t need a wife. toji’s parents were in an arranged marriage, and he saw how they treated each other.
the despised each other, and toji doesnt want a wife to hate, he doesn’t need a wife for giving an heir to, and he definitely didn’t need a kid who saw their parents hate each other like he did.
“that’s not happening naobito. i don’t need a wife to run a clan.” naobito hums, not in agreement, it’s sarcastic.
“sure you don’t need a wife, but you do need an heir.” this doesn’t make sense to toji. naobito had his own children, but here he was making his nephew the next clan leader.
“i’m not your son and i’m the next clan leader.”
this doesn’t faze naobito in the slightest, in fact, he seemed to have expected it. “the difference between me and you toji, is the fact that i’m already the head of the clan. i’ve done a lot for the clan so people trust my decision in what to do next. they don’t trust you, and if they don’t trust you, you will essentially have no power.”
‘he’s right’ toji thinks. naobito got married and became clan leader for decades to come. he’d could do whatever he wanted because the people in the clan would back him up. unlike toji, who they would throw to the wolves any chance they got.
naobito knows. he knows he’s got toji right where he wants him. don’t get naobito wrong, he doesn’t regret making toji the next leader, but that doesn’t mean toji can do whatever he wants.
the day that you meet toji comes sooner than you expect. it had been two and a half months since naobito suggested the marriage between the two clans. tomoko was still wary of the man, every time she sees him, he wears a smirk that doesn’t sit well with her.
naobito greets you and tomoko outside of the zenin estate. “tomoko,” he says your name, giving the two of you a nod as a greeting.
tomoko scoffs at the man’s fake politeness, while you give him a small smile along with a nod.
“toji is waiting for us inside, let’s get to it shall we?”
toji is a large man you come to learn. he’s tall and burly. but he’s not just physically large, the energy he gives off is intimidating. toji looks at you, he doesn’t smile, doesn’t greet you, doesn’t even acknowledge you.
you didn’t think you would exactly get along with your future husband, but you didn’t want him to resent you. you hoped that if toji learned why you accepted the marriage, the perhaps the two of you could be civil.
toji is sitting with his legs crossed, arms over his chest, and face showing he would rather be anywhere but here.
you give toji a small bow, naobito thinks you could’ve gone lower, he scowls.
toji just stares at you, his face shows nothing. it honestly feels like he’s staring right through you, the unease creeps in your throat.
“hello toji, it’s nice to meet you.” that was a nice greeting, right?
naobito scoffs, “it’s master toji young lady.” you stare at naobito with slight annoyance, “sorry mister zenin, but i would never call a man master.”
toji watches the situation, your response put a small smirk of approval on his face.
“here at the zenin clan, you are to call your superiors master. know your place.” naobito scolds. tomoko is about to defend you, but you’re faster.
“i give respect to those who give life. last i checked, that wasn’t a man.”
naobito wants to wring your neck, while toji tilts his head, eyes not leaving you.
“without men, you can’t make life.” he argues. “if you call twenty seconds ‘making life’ compared to nine months of growing a child in your body, you are sorely mistaken.”
he can’t handle this, naobito is ready to call off the marriage. no one disrespects him, and definitely not in his own home.
“twenty seconds huh? what two pump chumps have you been with?” toji asks, giving you a smirk.
you stare at him, the question throws you off. you weren’t expecting him to talk to you. “enough of this,” naobito says before you can reply, “i’ve decided this woman is not fit to be married in the zenin clan, and definitely not fit to bare an heir.”
you just roll your eyes, this guy practically begged me to be here!
“now hold on uncle, give her a chance to redeem herself. i mean, she came all this way. why let a little mistake determine the future for our clans?”
is this a joke? you can’t help but wonder. give you another chance? you look at toji just to find he’s already looking at you. he’s smiling, but it doesn’t look like it’s out of kindness, it’s out of amusement.
toji tilts his head as naobito and tomoko look at you, “well,” he says your name, “you have anything to say to the zenin clan leader.”
you look at everyone before your eyes land on toji. you don’t understand what he’s trying to do. all you know is that you definitely don’t want to apologize to naobito zenin.
you make a face of disgust at toji before looking away, “hell no.”
naobito looks like he’s about to blow a fuse. not toji, because toji has decided to go ahead with the marriage between the two clans.
toji laughs a deep, loud laugh. your eyes widen as your eyebrows furrow deep. tomoko on the other hand, has put her hand over her mouth, it’s clear she’s trying not to laugh.
‘what is happening?!’ naobito thinks.

sukuna doesn’t want to share your attention with a smelly dog! 1,303 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
sukuna doesn’t understand. he’s been a good boyfriend to you and you want to throw it all away for what? some dog? ok, maybe sukunas being dramatic, but he can’t help it. you want to essentially replace him with a dog!
and it’s all his nephews fault. you see, it was show and tell day at school. and one of yuji’s classmates brought a stuffed animal. a stuffed animal of a dog.
and if there’s one thing sukuna knows, it’s that you like yuji more than him. meaning, whatever yuji wants, yuji gets. and the seven year old is definitely aware of it. sukuna believes yuji has some sort of manipulation powers, because who in their right mind would like yuji over him!?
and it just so happen for show and tell day, you and sukuna were picking up yuji. meaning sukuna was going to be forced to hear whatever the second grader had to say. and that meant hearing him gush over another students stuffed animal.
it was a friday afternoon when, “nini! did you know my friend for show and tell got his dog plushie?! it was so cute!” yuji exclaimed, while playing with a paper airplane in the backseat of the car.
sukuna, whose driving mind you, groans in faux annoyance, closing his eyes. you seeing this from your peripheral, smacks sukunas arm. you look back at yuji, “really? that’s so cool!”
nodding, he replies, “yup! he even said he has a whole real life dog that looks like it!” yuji seemed impressed with the whole situation.
you shake your head in exaggerated disbelief, “no. freaking. way.”
he nods even harder, “yes freaking way! i’m so jealous but daddy won’t let me get a dog.” he pouts at the reminder.
“and for good reason brat. you don’t need a damned dog.” sukuna agrees with his brother, yuji was cute, but not cute enough to ignore the fact he’s not ready for a pet.
yuji’s pout seems to have doubled in size, eyes starting to water, “bu-but i would love it lots.” he argues.
“oh yeah? and who’s going to pay for the dogs expenses huh? the vet, food, toys, treats. who’s going to take care of the dog while you’re in school and jin’s at work!”
yuji looses it. he starts crying loudly, accidentally crushing his paper airplane in the process. big elephant tears roll down his face while his cries are heartbreaking to say the least.
“sukuna,” you start to scold, “you didn’t need to add fuel to fire.”
“y-y-y-yeah kunaaaaa!” yuji inputs from the backseat through his cries. sukuna feels a little guilty, but it’s the truth. besides, he doubts his brother would’ve told him the full truth. he probably wouldn’t just told yuji that there are no dogs to adopt.
you arrive to jin and yuji’s house, yuji’s cries have calmed and he’s just red eyed hiccuping in the backseat. sukuna gets ready to leave before, “its alright kuna, i can drop him off.” sukuna thinks that might be the right move since yuji hasn’t said a word since the crying fit.
you exit the car, opening yuji’s door and taking him out the booster seat. even though he’s seven, yuji will still be a baby in your eyes, so you take him out of his booster seat to carry him in the house.
you hold yuji with his legs wrapped around your waist, his arms around your neck, and his head pushed down on your shoulder.
sukuna can see from the car, that you’re whispering in yuji’s ear. and whatever you said had him raising his head looking at you with stars in his eyes.
“thank you nini!” he hears yuji’s muffled voice. he sees yuji start kissing your cheek repeatedly as you laugh, nodding your head.
after dropping off yuji, you go back to the car, ready for sukuna to drop you off at your apartment.
“what did you tell the kid that made him so happy?” sukuna asked. he watched as you think about the question, or better, what answer you would give him.
“i told him i would take him out for ice creams and shop for plushies tomorrow.” you shrug with nonchalance. sukuna just hums and takes you back to your apartment.
“you want me to stay the night?” he asks, ready to drop any plans he had for tonight.
you shake your head no, with a smile, “shoko’s coming over tonight, she said she’s got some big gossip.” pecking his lips before running off into your apartment.
not even a bye?!
sukuna was going to kill you. it was on saturday morning that you asked sukuna to drop yuji off at the apartment, claiming, “can you drop him off around four tomorrow? shoko wants to see him before we leave!”
now sukunas in your living room, holding his nephews hand (who’s trying not to freak out), looking at you with a giant dog by your side.
“look yuji!” you shout looking at yuji. the dog next to you is laying on the floor, unaffected by the young boy in front of him whose now running towards you.
“nini! nini! i love you so much! what’s its name?!” yuji jumped in your arms, asking the questions at a fast pace.
“umm hello? what the hell,” sukuna says your name.
you look at him briefly, waving him off to look back a yuji, “you said he couldn’t take care of a dog financially or physically. so i got a dog that yuji’s free to visit anytime.”
sukunas jaw drops at the logic. yuji has left your arms to wrap his arms around the dog, who doesn’t seem to mind, even leaning into the young boys touch.
“so yoyo, what should we name her?” yuji’s eyes light up, “i get to help name her?”
you laugh at his excitement, “well of course! you’re the one who said you wanted to name her!”
sukuna looks you dead in your eyes, “what did you just say? you tryna say the brat knew something about this?”
yuji looks at you, “nini, you didn’t tell kuna you were getting a dog? you told me!!”
sukuna looks scandalized, and you look completely unbothered. “you said you were taking the brat for ice cream and plushies!!” he can’t believe you!
you look to the side, raising your shoulders and hands, “oops.”
he feels his eyes twitch. oops? oops?
“i guess i did tell you that, huh.” sukuna can’t believe this. he should be furious, but watching his nephew cuddle the dog, the fact that you lied to him to make his nephew happy. but, it kinda just makes him feel fuzzy inside, he wants you in his life forever.
“can we name her yoni? it’s yoyo and nini put together! and what kind of dog is she, she’s so big!” your heart melts at the suggestion. you pick yuji up, twirling him around while placing kisses on his cheek.
“of course yoyo! that’s an amazing name! and she’s a saluki, apparently they’re very graceful!” yuji just giggles at the mixture of praise and kisses.
at some point sukuna takes yuji back home before going back to your apartment.
he walks through the door of your bedroom, and what the hell??
you’ve fallen asleep, while yoni lays at your side. yoni is wide awake, she just stares at sukuna.
“shoo, move mutt.”
yoni predictably, doesn’t move. instead she spreads as wide and large as she could make herself, leaving sukuna not a single chance to cuddle with you.
that’s when it hits sukuna, this dog isn’t a one off thing to make yuji happy. this dogs her forever.
yoni seems to know what he’s thinking, because she lets a breath out, akin to a laugh.
you’ve got to be kidding me.

yours and kentos daughter find out you have a secret love child! 1,556 words!
゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
having your daughter was a gift. she was perfect. her looks were a perfect mix between you and kento, with her looks mainly being kento, but her whole personality is you.
and you loved your daughter. she’s someone who you look at and immediately your heart warms. and she knows this too, there have been plenty of instances where she gets out of trouble with that face.
but as of lately, your daughter has been suspicious of you and kento. i mean, she sort of understands her parents job, they’re kind of like superheroes! but, your work has never caused you and kento to be away from her this much.
not only is she suspicious, but she’s hurt. you and kento are giving your attention to saving other people, she’s supposed to be your princess! unfortunately being four years old means she can’t exactly communicate this with the two of you well.
“kento, i just- i feel so bad for him. satoru said he’s got no one and his grandpa just passed before all of the jujustu nonsense.”
this doesn’t bode well for your daughter. she’s eavesdropping on the conversation, and she can hear you crying. she watches as her dad holds your face into his chest, gently rubbing your head.
“you have a big heart my love. i’m sure you’ll get a chance to meet him soon. knowing gojo, he’ll come calling soon enough.” he hopes to comfort you.
you laugh in his chest, nodding in agreement. that makes kento smile. it hurts his heart seeing you cry.
your daughter doesn’t know what to think. something about a boy losing his grandpa? maybe her mom will help the boy find him!
she returns to her room, having a tea party with her stuffed animals. but she still can’t get over the fact that someone else has her parents attention.
here’s how meeting yuji started.
“hello yuji, i’m,” you tell him your name, with a gentle smile on your face, “and this is my husband nanami kento.” yuji looks between you and kento, he thinks the two of you look nice together.
kento give the boy a quick nod in acknowledgment, who in return got a large smile and ecstatic nod. “hi mrs.nanami, gojo has talked a lot about you and mr.nanami.”
it was embarrassing, but hearing him say that with such a smile on his face made you want to cry. this boy, sukunas vessel, was such a sweet boy in possibly the worst situation.
you turn to face away from the boy, going to whisper something in kentos ear that he can’t hear. he can see kentos face soften, as he nods in encouragement to leave.
“is she ok?” yuji asks as the woman walks off. he was pretty confused, all he did was introduce himself! kento thinks about it.
“she will be ok. she just needs to take a breather that’s all. i believe she’s going to call and check on our daughter.” yuji’s eyes light up at the new information given to him.
“you guys have a baby together? that’s so cute!” kento raises and eyebrow, before giving a smile he was clearly fighting off. just thinking of his family makes him happy it seems.
“yes, we have one daughter, she is four years old. my wife’s mother was in town and wanted some alone time to spend with her.” yuji nods in understanding.
but before he could say anything, the woman comes back. it seems she had been crying, and yuji definitely wasn’t going to bring it up.
“i’m so sorry about that yuji. i just- got a feeling i needed to check something.” you look really apologetic yuji notes.
“it’s ok mrs.nanami, you went to check on your daughter right? i hope everything was ok!” you couldn’t hold it in anymore. this young boy tugged on your heart strings in the worst way.
you grabbed the young boy by his shoulders, pulling him into your chest. you started petting his head, while crying your eyes out. you were also apologizing?
yuji’s eyes widen at the sudden action, but he doesn’t move. he only looks at kento, who’s seems sad for his wife. kento goes to gently remove his wife from yuji, before yuji looks at the man and shakes his head slowly.
kento stops in his tracks as he watches yuji wrap his arms around you, embracing the hug. and it seems yuji needed that as much as you did. maybe even more.
after the crying session (which you found totally embarrassing and apologized like a million times!), you and kento took yuji out to eat.
“i’m really sorry about earlier yuji. i just couldn’t stop myself from crying when i saw you. gojo told me your situation, i couldn’t help but cry. you’re so young.”
yuji understands it now. you have a daughter. despite the fact that they had a large age gap, you probably imagined your daughter in his shoes. so he gets why you were crying.
“i already said it was ok mrs.nanami! besides, everyone likes hugs so it didn’t even bother me!” yuji’s a kind boy. he deserves someone to watch over him and keep him on the right track. keep him from falling apart.
and it seems kento was thinking the same thing because he was already looking at you.
it’s been like this for weeks. you and kento trying to visit yuji as much as often, taking him out to eat, going shopping, scolding him whenever he’s being reckless. and yuji loves it.
he loves being fussed over. he loves whenever you go to greet him with a big hug, telling him you missed him and that you’re proud of him.
then one day it happens. you and kento invite him over for dinner, and he understood the underlying question. “do you want to meet our daughter? do you want to be more involved in our lives?”
yuji can’t think of a time he accepted something so quickly.
it was a thursday that the dinner was scheduled. kento would pick him up around six, so that everyone could talk to each other before dinner.
“i’m a little nervous nanamin.” yuji admits. kento hums in acknowledgment, “you might be even more nervous to find out that our daughter has no idea you’re coming.”
yuji blanches at the thought. kento wants to laugh at the boys pale face. “don’t worry, she hasn’t bitten anyone in a while.”
safe to say, yuji was definitely still nervous.
“mama, who’s yuji?” your daughter asks, wide eyed as you continue making dinner.
you’re eyes widen in shock at the name. “where did you hear that name from sweetheart?” she shrugs before twirling herself a couple times.
“i hear you say ‘i gonna go see yuji’ and i not knowing who that is!” you can’t help but be slightly offended, as when she’s quoting you, her voice raises three octaves.
not that you can answer, because the front door is being unlocked. your daughter gasps in surprise and quickly screams running towards the door.
“papa papa! i miss you!” she hugs her papas legs as the door opens. except it’s not her papa, it’s yuji.
“um hi!” yuji gets a slight sense of déjà vu, you also hugged him when you first met him. but this time it’s slightly different as the small girl detached herself from him, promptly punching him in his thigh.
yeah, he doesn’t remember you doing that.
before she can continue her ‘attack’, kento calls out her name, which results in her pushing past yuji and holding out her arms to her father.
kento picks her up, holding her to his chest as she announces, “stranger papa! stranger!” she points at yuji, giving him a nasty look.
“not stranger sweetheart, yuji.” the girl immediately stops to just stare at yuji. she stares for a good forty seconds.
she holds her arms out to the young boy. yuji’s not sure what to do, i mean, he’s never held a child before, much less one who means so much to the people he cares about.
he looks at kento, who nods, holding his daughter closer to yuji, hoping to encourage him.
yuji stares at the young girl before gently grabbing her. the girl holds both her hands onto yuji’s cheeks. yuji thinks the small child in his arms is adorable. hey, he even thinks she’s smiling at him!
“papa my pet?”
what the hell?!?!
yuji’s eyes widen in horror, looking at kento who’s looking at his daughter.
kento looks to be thinking about his answer. what could he say to appease his daughter, but also keep yuji on her good side.
“not pet sweetheart, brother.”
yuji still has his eyes on kento, only now, they’re teary. he starts crying with a smile on his face. he moves the girl into one arm, while he uses his other to wipe his tears with his sleeves.
kento seems happy with the response. he looks at you, who seemed to have came over a while ago, and he sees you smiling. not only are you smiling, but you’re also crying. is there a chance yuji is biologically yours?? he wonders. the two of you are basically the same!
“papa he cryin’ so he my baby brother?”

part two!
a/n: i got so sick with the flu omg. it was so bad you would assume i wasn’t vaccinated. thank you for reading, i love you (. .*)β
you take shoko on a date and she’s so smitten! 1,742 words!
part one!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
even though shoko accepted your date, there was no denying that realistically she knew nothing about you. but shoko hopes this will be the turning point of her lonley life.
after you asked her out that day, you had exchanged numbers with you promising, “the date is going to be the best day of your life!” and she believes it, she believes you will make her extremely happy.
she decided she was going to tell satoru and suguru the funny, but charming, story of how you asked her out.
“you sound excited about this date.” satoru teases her while he sorts out his digimon cards. suguru nods his head in agreement, stating, “yeah, i haven’t seen you this excited since satoru tripped down the stairs and twisted his ankle.”
at the reminder, satoru makes a face of disgust at suguru before mumbling, “it wasn’t even that funny.” shoko snorts at the memory. she remembers satoru laying on the ground holding his ankle while he thrashed his body side to side.
though shoko tries to seem nonchalant about the date. “no i’m not excited per say, just, curious about this girl and why she even asked me out.” though as nonchalant as she wanted to seem, both satoru and suguru see the red on her ears.
the two boys look at each other, then they look at shoko. they both have an eyebrow raised, looking at her with a face that says ‘i don’t believe that.’
but shoko doesn’t care. no seriously she doesn’t.
when you pick up shoko for the date, she looks really pretty. the outfit she wore was simple, but it didn’t matter because you couldn’t stop looking at her face. she was gorgeous, and you could definitely feel your cheeks getting warmer.
shoko wore light makeup, she usually did but something was different. ahh, her lips had a slightly more red tint to them. her ears were also the same shade.
you walk up to shoko, offering her a bouquet of flowers. the bouquet consisted of red tulips, forget-me-nots, a small bit of maiden hair ferns, and lastly peonies. in all honesty, it was kind of ugly and the flowers didn’t really match.
shoko didn’t mind though, she grabbed them, your hands accidentally brushing, and give you a smile. “these are really beautiful. thank you, i’ve never gotten flowers so this is really thoughtful.”
your eyes widened in shock, “no one’s ever gotten you flowers?! seriously?” she nods looking down, only slightly embarrassed at the fact. you shake your head in a sort of disbelief manner.
“yeah, well that’s going to change.” you look at her reassuringly. nodding your head towards her door to signal her to take the flowers inside.
she quickly runs inside to put the flowers up, quickly asking her roommate if she can find a vase to put them in. after putting them away, she goes back to you as you’re looking up at the sky.
“i’m ready if you are.” shoko informs. you nod offering her your hand, which she takes with no hesitation.
the date starts with the two of you going to a place called, “learning blues.” it’s a small local thing where you can rent instruments for a day and they even offer classes to learn the basics.
shoko was a little confused at the idea, but she wasn’t going to complain. i mean hey, it might even be really fun!
and it was. because when you first got there, the two of you got to choose the instrument you wanted to rent. shoko chose a guitar and you chose a tuba?
worse decision because it was heavier than expected. it was about 25 pounds (11.3 kg) all in one spot of your lap.
as the two of you sat down with the woman who was going to teach you the basics, shoko laughed at how ridiculous you looked holding the large instrument.
all of the weight was in a single spot on your lap was starting to irritate you. not only was it uncomfortable, but you totally sucked at playing the tuba!
shoko watched as the instructor guided your hands to where they needed to be, while your face only showed focus. you weren’t having fun you were taking this seriously. a little to seriously for someone who’s awful.
shokos’ instructor tries to get her attention, but she can’t help but laugh at you. your cheeks are puffed out trying to blow air into the tuba, your face is also changing colors due to the lack of air. your instructor is cringing at the “music” that your making and shoko calls out to you.
“hey do you mind, i’m trying to focus.” she teases at you. the face you make has her giggling as you look completely confused. you thought it sounded nice enough to serenade her not have her shut you up!
you roll your eyes, “shoko please don’t be jealous at my natural talent. i understand your struggling yourself, but keep those rude thoughts to yourself.” your instructor doesn’t catch the sarcasm, and looks very shocked that you find whatever you just played good.
shoko laughs at the lies you’re oh so clearly telling. this goes on for another two hours. and you’d think that after two hours, you would have gotten better.
well you didn’t. you actually got worse and your instructor made that clear. “if i’m being honest,” she starts telling you before you and shoko leave, “i really don’t think you have a shot at the tuba. since there was no improvement, you can come back free of charge for another session. except next time we will work on something a little more simple. like the triangle.”
the instructor pats your back gently before removing you, and by default shoko, from the premises. shoko can’t hold it in, she laughs. she laughs so hard and loudly to the point where she’s crying.
you look embarrassed, but also pleased as your situation got her to laugh. you decided that you would be willing to make a fool of yourself everyday if it meant hearing her laugh like that.
“it wasn’t even that funny.” you whine as you gently elbow her arm. she nods her head yes, still laughing, while also wiping her tears.
her laughter eventually calms down, that’s when you ask, “are you ready for dinner?” shoko seems shocked, she thought that it was over. but she nods, excited to see where the night takes her.
you two end up and a small mom and pop restaurant. and it’s clear that your a familiar face to the owners. “ahh,” the owner’s husband calls out your name, “what happened to your last date?”
ahh, shoko looks at you with a brow raised, also wondering what happened.
“what are you talking about old man, that was like a month ago. and stop keeping track of when i come or who i bring.” you call back out to him. he laughs at you before seating you and shoko.
“so, you bringing all the girls you ask out here?” she asks, only slightly seriously. you hum thinking about it, “the girl he’s talking about was the first girl i brought here. but the chick totally ghosted me! this is the first time i came back here since then. it’s probably why he mentioned it.” you explain.
“so you bringing me here when you have bad memories of the place? are you trying to get me to ghost you too?” she teases.
you groan playfully before seriously answering her, “yeah it was a bad memory, i thought i really liked her. it made me not want to come back her in fear of something bad happening. but i figured if anyone can change my mind of coming back, it’s you.”
shoko doesn’t say anything. she just stares at you. then it happens. her cheeks are bright red. she throws her face into her hands. “you’re so corny.” but she says this with a smile on her face.
the last stop of the date. you find yourselves on top of a tall grassy hill. the spot is really beautiful, trees surrounding the two of you while the small animals near by get ready to settle in for the night.
the two of you are on a large blanket that you prepared, sitting so close to each other that your shoulders are touching. shoko looks at you.
“i wanted to thank you for taking me out. even if your tuba playing sucked and you bring all the girls to your favorite restaurant.” you know she’s not serious based on the fact the her voice and face are showing a softness you want to see for the rest of your life.
you look into her eyes, “my tuba playing wasn’t even that bad.” but neither of you are thinking about that damn tuba.
you look at her lips, “can i?”
she nods, once. twice.
you go for it, you gently grab her face with both of your hands, kissing her. it was all you had thought about all night. and it was even better than you imagined.
she kissed you back, putting her hands around your neck bringing you closer to her. after you (reluctantly) pull back, you kiss her forehead gently before pulling her into your arms.
you don’t know how long you held onto each other for.
eventually you bring her back to her dorm. you walk her to the door.
“thank you for giving me a chance shoko. i’d really love it if you let me take you out again sometime.”
she nods, feeling bashful.
“goodnight,” she drawls out your name, ready to go inside. but not before giving you lips a sweet peck. she enters her dorm.
“goodnight shoko.”
shoko looks at the flowers you got her, they really were a bit random. she decides to look up what they mean.
red tulips: deep love, passion and romance.
forget-me-nots: true love, memories, and enduring connection.
maidenfair fern: purity, innocence, and resilience.
peonies: romance, prosperity, and good fortune.
shoko tears up at her phone, seeing the meaning of her flowers. of course they were ugly, you were sending a message!
she feels relieved. she feels like you want her, for her. she knows you now, she knows you won’t let her go invisible.
shoko lies down in bed, she hopes to have a good dream, she hopes your there.

hiromi has recently been struggling to find good coffee. but wait a minute, look at this cafe ! 1,258 words!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
hiromi likes black coffee. the issue is, all the local cafes he’s been to, just don’t make good black coffee.
you see, black coffee is supposed to have a strong flavor, but every black coffee has on been bitter yet somehow lacking flavor. and he’s been debating on just making his own coffee at home. because why pay for a shitty coffee for over ¥900 when he can make it himself!
he knows he has other problems to deal with. like with being a defense lawyer was crappy enough, especially when the system is so damn corrupted. he feels like because he’s a defense lawyer in such an unfair system, he at the very least deserves a decent coffee.
he feels like giving up. what’s the point in going to a coffee shop, just to get screwed over. he decides he’s going to give one more cafe a chance. just once.
‘the cats meow’ and up and coming cat cafe that’s only a 7 minute walk from the train station. he’s not sure he trusts cafes that have live animals, but if they can make a good black coffee, he might be able to over look it.
hiromi walks in, immediately he can tell that everything, including the cats, was really clean. in fact, all the cats looked happy and healthy. none were to thin or thick (except one thick cat but it had a cast on its right back leg), their fur shiny and sleek. it was clear to him that this place takes care of the cats.
there’s only a slight line, around 3 people waiting. there are people sitting at tables with their books and laptops doing work. the warm lighting making everything feel inviting.
‘this place is actually cozy’ he can’t help but think.
it’s his turn for his order to be taken, this is it. this is the moment that will decide if he keeps buying local, or from his crappy coffee maker at home.
he walks up to the lady who’s taking orders, she smiles at him with a small, “how can i help you today sir!”
hiromi doesn’t care if the coffee is the worst in the world, he’s decided he’ll keep coming back to see your smile.
“one black coffee, light roast please.” he answers, his face not giving anything away. he receives a nod back, but not before being asked, “do you have a cat? here on fridays if you bring a picture of your cat, you get ¥100 yen off your order!”
this information is a shock to him. the discount could be used by anyone since someone could just lie about having a cat and still get a discount. he has to know that you do understand that.
“what if i had a picture of some random cat and claimed it was mine? you would just offer me the discount?” his face shows a healthy amount of shock.
you hmm thoughtfully before replying, “i mean yeah i wouldn’t know if it was really yours or not. but i’d like to imagine people are honest about that sort of thing. and if they’re not, makes no difference because i’ll never know.” you shrug your shoulders at the end.
you willing put your trust into people? you could be scammed out of so much money, and yet you decided to put trust into the community.
hiromi can’t imagine a world like that for himself, and he feels something. jealousy. oh hiromi wishes he could put himself into your shoes and imagine a world where every one is honest and good.
but he also admires you. he doesn’t know if you were always like this, trusting. but he knows that having a mindset like that will help you in the long run.
“unfortunately, i don’t have a cat. i fear i wouldn’t be able to give it the attention and proper care.” he’s honest. if you want to put your trust in the community, he will offer you his honesty. he hands you ¥700.
“hm, i can’t give you a discount then. so next time feel free to just find a cute photo of a cat. and i can pretend i didn’t hear that.” you give him a cheeky wink, putting his money in the register.
he furrows his brows, “now why would you do that? won’t your boss get mad?”
you look at him with a twinkle in your eye, “nah, i won’t get to upset about it. i’ll have your coffee out soon misterrr,” you drag out the last part hoping to get his name.
“hiromi, hiromi higuruma.”
“well hiromi, i’m,” you point at your name tag, , “hope to see you again.”
after that, hiromi leaves the counter and waits for his coffee. after a couple minutes, you call out his name, placing his coffee on the counter. the two of you make eye contact, and you nod at him before breaking it.
he leaves the cafe with his coffee in hand, and he can’t deny, it smells really good.
he stands outside the cafe, ready to try the coffee. he takes his first sip and it’s delicious. and that makes him ecstatic. not only can he come back for the coffee but he can come back and see you.
next thing hiromi knows, is waking up in the hospital, with the lovely lady who took his order sitting in the chair next to the bed.
“you’re awake! you really scared me y’know? do you understand how scary it is to give someone a cup of coffee, and then see them crash on the floor!? and i’m asking very nicely not to sue me, we just opened not long ago!” you scold him.
but hiromi doesn’t mind the scolding, you’re here with him. but the absurdity of the situation has him laughing. loudly.
at the sound of laughter, the doctor comes in and explains to hiromi that he essentially had a heart attack. and how it seemed it was caused from major caffeine intake.
“even though it wasn’t major or life threatening, please sir i beg you to take a break for caffeine for a bit.” hiromi nods at the doctor in understanding before looking at you.
you seem calm at hearing the news on how it wasn’t too serious.
“it seems your coffee almost killed me.”
the calm of your face is very much gone, replaced with shock. “WHAT? i just said not to sue me! and besides the doctor came in and said it wasn’t life threatening. who do you think you’re fooling?” your brows are furrowed, with a pout on your lips.
“i jest sweetheart. but it seems that your coffee was the last straw. and as seller’s compensation, allowing me to take you out to dinner should cover the harm done to me.”
your eyes widen and your cheeks warm at being asked out by this handsome man!
“i guess i could allow you to take me out, y’know, just as an apology.” although you both know that you wanted to go out with him.
hiromi furrows his brows in confusion before looking around, “have you seen my phone? i was supposed to see a client.”
your eyes scan over his body and the side table before shaking your head, “no sorry. and client? do you work in real estate or something?”
his eyes twinkle before informing you, “no sweetheart, a lawyer.”
he relishes in the panic on your face, “you were serious about suing me?!”
he smiles because, no, of course he wasn’t.

a/n: this story had like 90% world building im so sorry 😭 i literally got into the zone writing this. thank you for reading, i love you (. .*)β
choso goes to visit his younger brother yuji after being away. but whose this?! 838 words!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
if there was anything to know about choso kamo, it was that he was a family man. and if you were to ask choso about his favorite person, his answer would undoubtedly be yuji.
now unfortunately for choso, he doesn’t get to see yuji other than through facetime calls. but that would be because he was in college, getting his degree in agriculture.
choso loves college. he loves his classes, the friends he’s made, the animals and plants he gets to take care of. but theres something missing.
and he can’t help but sometimes feel ungrateful. he has a nice family, plenty of friends, going to a nice college- but something’s missing.
unfortunately, choso doesn’t have time to worry about it, because he’s leaving for spring break to see his family. to go see yuji.
on the other hand, yuji was doing fine without choso! i mean, choso called him like, every day! it was kind of hard to miss the guy!
but yuji has only been fine because of you. you loved babysitting. you loved meeting new family’s, taking care of the kids, watching them grow all into their individual personalities.
and yuji was no exception. he was by far the loudest and wildest kid, but he also had the biggest appetite. i mean seriously, the kid was always hungry.
not that you minded, because you also have a passion for baking. and god, did yuji love your passion.
so that’s how we got here, a wednesday afternoon, with the warm sun out and a light breeze. perfect weather for some strawberry shortcake.
as you and young yuji work in the kitchen, well you worked. yuji was constantly looking for the perfect time to sneak whipped cream. not that you minded, because you would get to pretend to catch him in the act, punishing him with tickles.
just as yuji is getting assaulted with tickles, the front door opens ominously. jin wasn’t supposed to be home for another three and a half hours!
you grab a knife (which was arguably the biggest one), and walked towards the door with yuji behind your legs.
just as you go to strike, the man squeals gasps loudly.
“wait!” he pleads, not that he needs to because a loud “CHO!” comes from behind you.
choso doesn’t even have time to celebrate reuniting with yuji, as his nervous system shut down.
yuji jumps onto choso, his arms wrapped around his waist, while his legs around his thighs. but choso doesn’t hold him back.
his arms are still in the air, as he watches you hold onto your chest. you try to catch your breath from the fear of some crazy psycho trying to hurt you or yuji.
“um.. choso?” yuji looks up at his brother from his stomach. and all yuji can see is his older brother looking at his babysitter. but huh? why is his face so red?
“sorry about that,” you laugh nervously, “i knew jin wouldn’t be home for a while and i kind of freaked out a little bit. i hope you can understand.”
choso thinks in love. your voice was so smooth and sweet, and while you looked embarrassed about the situation, he loved it. you could actually use the knife on him and he would appreciate you even giving him the time of day.
chosos’ mouth is wide open in awe of you. then he feels it. he feels grateful, that missing piece must’ve been you.
he nods dumbly, mouth still open and all. you’re honestly kind of freaked out. did you break him?
“choso can you leave? we were making strawberry shortcake and we don’t need distractions.” choso snaps his head down to look at yuji.
“leave?? i just got here!” choso doesn’t understand, didn’t yuji miss him??
“well i know that, but since you came, we had to stop working on our dessert!” choso hears a loud laugh from you.
choso can’t help but smile. “i’m sure you just heard, but i’m choso.” he holds his hand out for you, giving you a smile.
you shake his hand offering your name to him. you don’t know it, but he imagines himself with your last name.
he gives you a goofy smile before yuji rolls his eyes. yuji grabs your hand, forcing you to go back to baking the dessert with him. you swear you hear him say “i don’t have time for this.”
choso just stands there, watching yuji walk off with his future wife. he follows behind with a walk that’s honestly pretty slow. he fears he’s made up this whole scenario in his head, and if he makes it to the kitchen and sees you aren’t real, he doesn’t know what he’ll do.
“chosooo! do you want to help me and yuji in here while you tell catch up?”
you’re real. and choso can’t wait to fill the missing piece.
choso makes it into the kitchen, but not without being asked, “hey choso, why were you so red earlier?”
‘damn it yuji!’

a/n: i’m definitely going to need a part two because this was really just lover boy behavior from choso and no real interaction with him and reader. but i think it turned out kinda cute. thank you for reading, i love you (. .*)β
as toji’s self proclaimed best friend, you of course end up meeting his cute friend shiu! 926 words!
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚
you’ve been in toji’s life longer than he’d like to admit. i mean, if you were to ask toji how he felt about you, he would definitely say that you were a pain in his ass.
he loves you, don’t get me wrong, but you have a real talent for annoying him! especially because you’re someone he feels vulnerable with, you knew everything. including how he does shady business for work.
but let’s talk about how toji came to hate the summer, well more than usual.
it all started june 15th, it was midday while the sun was beating down on the two of you during (what was supposed to be) an enjoyable lunch.
“oh my god toji, can you do something about the sun? it’s going to start giving me some kind of blister at this point.” toji rolls his eyes at your theatrics.
“the hell am i supposed to do about the sun? just who do you think i am?” he raises an eyebrow, as his eyes are squinted at you. “toji i know those muscles aren’t just for show. i’m going to need you to throw like, a million water balloons at it.”
“yeah toji, get to throwing.” an unfamiliar voice comes from behind toji. you slightly jump at the fact that a random man has decided to insert himself into your conversation.
although toji rolls his eyes at said voice and asks, “and what do you think you’re doing here?” the man just smiles.
“well toji, this is a public place.” toji didn’t like that answer. “here in this conversation asshole, don’t get smart with me.”
the man is seemingly unfazed, as he ignores toji, and stares straight at you.
“hi hon, i’m shiu kong. it’s really unfortunate you know toji,as he’s really a dull man.” shiu offers his hand towards you.
“well hello shiu, i’m,” you offer your name. “i wouldn’t use the word dull per say. but i would use the word lucky.” shiu raises a brow at that, and it also grabs toji’s attention.
“lucky? are we talking about the same toji who can’t pick the winning boat even it was to save his life?” at this, toji clicks his tongue in annoyance at the reminder.
you nod your head thoughtfully, “well, clearly he’s lucky enough to have me in his life!” you tease looking at toji, who’s expression says that it was actually quite the opposite.
shiu laughs, as he takes a seat between you and toji (who is across from you). “well, do you think i can consider myself lucky for running into you?” he asks looking directly into your eyes.
your cheeks warm at the sentiment, while toji cringes and looks like he’d rather be anywhere but here.
you hear the sound of toji’s chair scratching the floor, “yeah no, i’m out of here,” he says ready to leave. but not without pointing to shiu, “if something happens to her,” he nods towards you, “you won’t be making it past midnight.”
and with that, toji walks the other direction, away from whatever flirting was going to happen. shiu, although despite being threatened, looks unfazed by toji’s behavior.
which makes sense because toji is someone who constantly threatens the people in his life.
shiu is pretty funny you’ve come to learn. he’s sarcastic, witty, and it helps that he’s easy on the eyes!
but if you were to ask shiu how he felt about you, he’d say that’s he’s really glad he ran in to you and toji. he’s not dumb, he understands why toji never introduced the two of you.
toji’s job was dangerous. and if anyone besides shiu has found out about you, it definitely would’ve pained a large target on your back.
then, shiu thought a little more about it. he doesn’t care! toji should’ve introduced the two of you as soon as humanly possible! it reminds him of the time toji brought food during a meeting between them, and toji refused to tell him where it was from!
‘yeah,’ he thought, ‘toji is a stupid gatekeeper.’
“so hon, how did you meet toji?” he looks at you with curiosity. especially because you seemed like you willing hung out with the guy.
you hummed before replying, “it was maybe 20 years ago at this point,” you thought carefully, “i caught him talking to one of the stay cats i feed occasionally. well, talking is putting it lightly, he was yelling at the cat for stealing the meat on his plate.” you recall the memory with a light laugh.
shiu couldn’t help but laugh at the mental image that was painted in his head. “i’m guessing you helped him in some kind of way?”
you burst out into laughter, “hell no, i couldn’t stop laughing at the poor guy. i’m actually pretty sure i was pointing at him and his misfortune.”
shius’ eyes widen before a deep chortle left his lips. it’s been around two hours since toji left, and shiu can’t help but be grateful.
he can’t help but look at your face, which was showing off a smile that went from ear to ear. your eyes were a pretty color too. and your hairstyle really suits your face.
he could watch you laugh all day, and can’t imagine himself ever getting bored. he wishes he met you a lot sooner. he imagines he would’ve made a lot of better decisions in the past.
but it’s to late to imagine something like that. so he’ll settle on letting you change him for the better now.
