3 September 2020 | The fall term begins in earnest next week so I’m spending this wonderfully rainy day trying to get my schedule straightened out. Also fighting the uphill battle of trying to maintain Greek.
can’t save people you love from dying, can’t save the country from tories or the planet from plastic, can’t hold onto time or make memories stay clear or anything really can you. but you can go on, you can write. writing things down keeps them in existence, in a way

do we think i can get all my preptober tasks done in one day? today, we’re going to find out! i found this outlining method, the one page outline, i watched this video on it and it’s really helped me get some planning done (feat. a retro apple keyboard my bf gifted me!)

i started my classes this week and since this is my last semester of undergrad, i’m actually taking almost all of my classes at the grad school (except for german) … so far they’ve been really amazing and i really like all of my professors! p.s. i made pancakes today for brunch and although some turned out better than others, they were overall very yummy

random quotes i wrote to my black bujo + a picture from a very gloomy walk. today was the first morning with minus degrees outside which means winter is coming 🥶
day 14 - what are some of your study essentials?
because all classes are online rn and i take all my notes digitally my study essentials are laptop, monitor & keyboard. for japanese classes also my textbook and notebook. also my bujo is essential to me because i need some structure in my online studies by planning my week.

my mondays are usually filled with japanese! i’ve felt super tired today though so i didn’t get much done but i attended both of my japanese classes and that’s an achievement!
day 5 - have you ever done a challenge before?
i have! the only challenge i have finished though (i think) was an october study challenge hosted by @stu-dna exactly a year ago from now! i tried doing another challenge over this summer too but i wasn’t really studying anything and also i was rarely home so it was difficult to keep up.
here’s an appreciation post to local cafes that can start my busy day right☕️🧡 an hour of journaling, reading and writing can do wonders to a stressed out uni student!🙈 . speaking of journals, how are you all progressing with yours so far?☺️ since we’re approaching the end of the year, i normally like to reflect on my journal pages and read through what i’ve written in each month! i’m only a little bit over halfway through my journal, so i’ve still got quite a chunk to get through📝✨ . also, the laptop pictured is the LG gram 14Z90N, which i’ve absolutely loooved using! #LGgram #laptop #14Z90N @lg_tech.it (at Perth, Western Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGFb6lvDbdg/?igshid=1m4g30n1xmbu0
we’re working with a very tired mind today (i overslept! it was great! but also! i feel like a slug!) so we’re putting the pomodoro method to the test to see if it helps make some much-needed headway on about twenty different things. happy sunday!

16.04.20 / the fruits of yesterday’s labor. my hand just about fell off after a day of revisions! really struggled with concentration so i was at it for longer than i intended. but the important thing is that i finished it. today is going to be dedicated to readings. cold fruit and yogurt is best for warm days!! have a happy thursday ♡

sunday, august 9th, 2020 | only one more week until classes start! I’m excited but this is going to be a rough semester 😅 I just have to hang in there and hope that I won’t be doing online classes for the rest of my time at college haha
09.14.20 | an orange study mood today, ft. my old rhodia bullet journal, stabilo pens, and a late-night iced thai tea with boba!

Quit procrastinating. Stop putting things off. So often in life, we feel like we can delay things & do them much later. But we may never have the same opportunities again. This life is so transient. Here today, gone tomorrow. You’ve seen that happen. So best to do it now.
