moody.
Paint clung to Andromeda's olive skin as she made her rounds through the Tonks' lovely abode. She must have picked up the same toys over and over again, but that was the life of a mother with an overactive five year old. All she could do is tidy up to the best of her ability and hope that when nap time reared it magnificent head that the little girl would crash without any objections. This, of course, never happened in Nymphadora's case, but that didn't stop her weary mother from hoping.
"Merlin, Dora... How did you manage to get floo on the rug? Didn't papa and I tell you his tin was off limits?" The stern voice seemed to frighten the little girl before her. Long, cotton candy pink hair slowly morphed into a dull shade of blue as her gaze dropped to the ground. She refused to even look in her mother's direction. Andromeda's hand rose, index finger pointing toward the 'timeout couch' and the little girl dragged her feet in a melodramatic way. It was almost as if it was the end of the world for the young Tonks.
As Andromeda rolled her eyes at her daughter's overreaction to timeout there was a sharp rap on the door. A part of her hoped it wasn't Ted, she didn't need him returning home before the floo powder was returned to the little tin it came from. Standing up she gave a pointed look to the little girl, silently telling her to stay put, and it seemed to work. The door flung open with a swift wave of her wand and the sight before her was comforting. Alastair Moody in all his glory, standing on her porch. "Oh, thank Merlin you're here, Al. I'm going mad... I can feel it."
