Giant Slide?
That sounds amazing. Anyone care to join me?
Don't mind if I do.
I'd love to have my picture drawn!
Is it true that they’re doing that?
Dunno, but if they're not, I'd be happy ta do one for you.
Popcorn! Fresh popcorn for sale right here! Cheap and delicious!
"I heard there’s an ice cream sundae as big as my head!"
"Care to split one?"
"Sounds amazing!"
"I'd love to!"
"I’ve been wonderful as always dear. I’m rather looking forward to the painting you and miss Jane will be doing."
"Right! I'd almost forgotten 'bout that. If I see Miss Jane around, I'll be certain to talk ta her about it."
gifts are for giving || belle & burton
"You know I have this friend, Pete, and he wants to be a writer, he wants to focus on children’s books" Belle said in an excited tone, the idea of them working together had just struck her, "maybe in the future you two could work together, oh it would be such an amazing collaboration!" she said with a smile.
"How wonderful!" Belle exclaimed when Bert said he could recreate the piece, "should we go get the materials then?" she asked not knowing how she should ask him if he would rather just get the money for the materials and go shop in his own time.
"Pete? I know a Pete, bet it's the same one too. Didn't know he wanted to write kids books, but sounds like a great thing to do. Dunno, maybe we will some day," he smiled.
"Now?" He hadn't been expecting it to be so soon, although it was probably best. If he left it laying around who knew when it'd get done. "I'd love to go now, explore the art store, it's always a good adventure if you go about it right."
Dream uh? Dreams are for children… what good is it to have a dream?
They're not just for children. I got lots of 'em. What fun is life if you don't think a little outside a reality?
At least it is something, though, right?
"'Course. I'm sure her hedgehog is a very nice fellow."
"Another good thing about comics. You can just look at the pictures without worrying about the language."
"What comics do you have? They good comics?"
"Superman in English, it's got action, the fun sort of good guy wins out over bad guys sort a story. The french one is called something like 'Spiro et Fantasy'. Think it's supposed ta be funny, but it gets a little lost without the words. Still like looking at it though. You should give it a try."
"You’ll be here all day if you tried with those puny things. Hold on, let me get ‘em for you." He turned and jogged off to retrieve the tools from the shed, returning only a few minutes later.
"Here." He handed him the clippers. "Just a buck, right? You know how to do this?"
"Thank you, sir."
"I've got a good idea 'bout it. Can't be too hard, right?"
"We’re good friends, aren’t we Bert?"
"I should think so."
Would you like to dance?
"A true fisherman. But not a catcher-man."
"I think it shows his love for fishing all the better. To keep coming every Sunday with nothing to show."
You should be flattered, hedgehog’s are pretty adorable if you ask me.
They are! Like porcupine's, but better.
Guess what today is?
"What the hell..."
I didn’t hear you… how did you do that?
Just sorta sat down here.
Maybe you were just lost in your thoughts? Happens to me all the time.
