We’re planning three more Power Hours! 

Due to the nature of Netflix ratings (and being just a touch psychic), we’re expecting Netflix to begin deliberating on DGHDA’s future shortly after January’s Netflix Viewership comes in. 

This might very well be our last push to save our show, so..  

Keep it trending on Netflix. 

Keep signing the petition (look how close we are to 50k!)

And continue making noise to #SaveDirkGently. 

Because Dirk’s future might be decided very soon.

Do you think the universe fights for souls to be together? Some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences.

As probably all of you already know, BBC America decided to cancel Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency after only 2 seasons. But the fans won’t give up without a fight. In the past couple days, our wonderful Dirktective-Family came together with wonderful ideas to fight for our show! 

Here’s how YOU can help:

Please sign this petition that as of now has over 17,000 signatures and counting. Share it with everyone you know, share it on other Social Media platforms, share it as much as you can. We need to get the word out to as many people as possible! Maybe also encourage people of other fandoms whose shows got cancelled as well, they do know our suffering and might help us.

Spread the word and the love for the show under the main hashtag #SaveDirkGently. You can also use #RowdyForS3. Feel free to use my gifs above if you want to!

The second season will hit Netflix worldwide on 5th of January. Watch. the. hell. out. of. it. Binge it, write a review, give it 5 stars, recommend it to other people. Suggest a third season directly to Netflix over the title suggestion site. Share the love. Write about it on Social Media while tagging @netflix to get them to realize how many people love and support the show. Tell them to pick it up and that you want a third season!

I guess if you have any questions, you can probably contact @sharkcats, @busy-thinkin-bout-dirk or @holisticdetectives, they seem to know a lot about what to do! So Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency got cancelled AND IT DOES NOT DESERVE THIS. But it can still be saved if there’re enough views on international Netflix when season 2 goes up on Netflix on Jan 5th. So I’m urging you supernatural fans to pick up this show during the holidays because I’m 100% sure you’ll enjoy it + the fact that about 50 actors have acted in both shows.

Like Osric Chau. Y'all know him. Y’all love him. Master Chau? The guy who plays Kevin? 

He plays a series regular named Vogel who’s part of a ‘gang’ which feeds off crazy. He plays an incredibly wild character who can beat the shit out of people but is also the sweetest cinnamon roll of a character ever. Plus Vogel is on of Osric’s best roles.

And also Lee Majdoub. He played Hannah’s second vessel In Dirk Gently.

He plays Silas Dengdamoor in the second season. A poc gay character who lives in the fantasy world of Wendimoor who can’t lie for shit. And is so in love with his boyfriend, Panto Trost (who I’ll talk about later) and is also a really sweet guy which you’ll fall in love with. 

And then there’s Ty Olssen. Benny. He only appears in Dirk Gently for two episodes before he gets uh killed off. Is that a spoiler? I mean it was two episodes in. But anyways he was great in his role. 

Ok now let’s talk about Panto Trost. He’s played by Christopher Russell who played Cliff Whitlow in the Curious Case of Dean Winchester.

Hi everyone, the @savedirkgently​ tumblr blog is now mostly set up! 

A few pages have been created (Twitter, Netflix, & Petition) consolidating the information that has been shared around the fandom in one location. Hopefully it helps! These pages will continue to be edited as we do more research about the most effective way to campaign for renewal, and as other guidance gets shared.

Don’t. Panic. Here’s what to do to campaign for season 3 before January 5th:

1. Sign the Petition [X].

2. Tweet @Netflix using #savedirkgently. Be Polite but persistent and tweet regularly. Annoy them, but be sweet in requesting a season 3. Be sure to tweet your country’s netflix AS WELL as the main @netflix account. You can find your netflix’s social media here [X]. 

Anytime Netflix posts something on social media, reply to them about Dirk Gently. Bring attention to our show everywhere. We have to make netflix respond to our noise. This our last chance to get rowdy and loud.

3. Tweet these important people, too:@reedhastings (ceo of netflix), @idwmedia, @IDWEnt. 

4. Be prepared to watch on Netflix if you’re outside the US. Netflix offers one month free trials. Get your mom, dad, friend, dog to get an account for January 5th and be prepared to USE IT.

5. Use Netflix’s Request form [X]. Ask specifically for Season 3.  

6. Email these Netflix people. If you want, copy and paste [this email] with important information requesting season 3:
