The sight of Billy infuriated Winifred. He really knew all the right things to piss her off and just the sight of him brought up memories that she would love to do nothing more to than burn with hellfire. “Billy,” she greets but her tone is sharp and cold. “Call it lies if you want, I don’t care. Your words do not hurt me.” She pushes her purse up on her shoulder then crosses her arms. “I suppose we can talk.” Her words were laced with venom and she was doing everything she could to control herself from snapping at him. “Somewhere more…private though.”

“Okay.” Billy mumbles. He did not know what his thinking was there? Provoking would soon turn to begging anyway. He thinks about what she said. Somewhere private (where no one can hear him scream). The first thing that came to his mind. Even still he had to act agreeable with her idea. “After you.”

With a chuckle, Max took a sip of his drink, setting it down on the bar as he heaved a sigh. He wasn’t quite sure where to begin with the topic of the Sandersons or anything that he, Alli, and Dani were now working on, but it seemed that Billy had dropped comments here and there in the past that indicated he might know something. Something was better than nothing. “So, ah, listen. Remember that time we told you all about Halloween when we were kids, and a bunch of shit went down? Well, we–Dani, Alli, and I–are kind of trying to figure out what happened, and…you know. You’re a very knowledgeable, seen-it-all kinda guy. We were hoping you might know something to help us out.”

Billy had seen things in his life and he feels off guard by the sudden question. He paused, the smile was awkward, because he was waiting for this but he can't say anything. If it wasn't his job to tell them, they would never know then. The curse was his punishment and he was scared for them. “I am knowledgable but I don't know anything about it like you think. I'm sorry.” Billy lied and walked away very nervous.

Taking a sip from her now-complimentary wine, Angelique smirked, making sure it was an extra-large gulp this time if it wasn’t her responsibility to pay. “Merci, monsieur,” she said with a nod as she set her glass down. With a shrug, she supposed he was right. Maybe James had saved her from himself, saved her from getting even more involved with someone as foolish as he. “What girl doesn’t like to dance?” she asked with a raise of her brow. “Hold on, are you really asking me, and does that imply you’re single? No way that’s true.”

“Je • vous • en • prie, ” He says very slowly from all the french he did know. Hello, goodbye, you're welcome and thank you. Billy laughs without humor and he adds a little more wine and puts the bottle back away. “I could name one or maybe two.” There was not time for dancing when he was with Winifred but he needed to be fair in thinking he had never asked. Even still he can't believe that she would have but Sarah had liked to dance and more. “I'm saying yes to both, I'm not seeing anyone and that is the truth.” He hadn't found many women worth dying for.

“What will you have?” Billy grumbled after a long time, dragging his feet because he was busy doing other things and this man was taking him away from that. The bar wasn't busy but he was working on the details to his Halloween night plans. This year he would be going out and for good reason.

“Would you like some help you with that?” Billy finally asked after observing things to be not going well for her. Still he didn't like to think she cannot handle carrying everything. He was only being polite and he was the only person around. Billy smiled and he went to where she was to be there if she did want help from him.

Billy had to consider her a good balanced friend for him, it is impossible for him to be a grumbling bitter man seeing her. She was too much the optimistic spirit for it. He was to go off for a run on the beach but Billy took out his airpods and he went to gently say hello to her first. “Hello Dory, are you having a good day?”

No longer does he need to block the sun from his face because Sarah stands in the way. He lied out on the grass to sky gaze and it was to remind himself that he was still alive. “You cannot be around me.” He said with some distance and his heart is scared to say what he has to. He wished Winifred's rage to be enough for him to stay away and even still he smiles. “You know that.”

It was the first official day of Fall season and Jack couldn’t’ve been more excited. There was an extra pep in his step today as he walked around town, doing some fun errands—stopping by Dinglehopper Vintage Pawn Shop, Smarty Mart, and Pixie Hollow Bookstore. The tall man walked with a bunch of bags that he held full of all sorts of neat things—focusing this upcoming week on redecorating his home on the farm. He wanted to try and make an invisible bookshelf where the books look like they float. Just the idea was enough to make him bounce, and right when he did he looked at one of the windows of King Candy’s Candy Store.

“Should I buy some candy in bulk? I hope they have candy corn..”

“Candy corn? No. That shit is disgust. People like chocolate.” Billy didn't even know why he would help Jack decorate the pumpkin farm other than he was helping out a friend. He still hated Halloween, it is a reminder of the curse put on him. “Do you want your place to get egged? You're lucky you have me after all.” Billy smiled holding the door open for Jack.

“Hello again, can we talk? Do you have some time?” Billy asks this to her when they both are going down the road together. He wanted to get his shopping done and a public market would be the best place to talk he thinks because there are so many other people there too.

Billy would have to do his best to fill her in and to keep her safe because of this plan he is forming up. He has taken a strong liking to the Dennison's. Billy wanted to keep that trust, because they didn't deserve to be Winifred's target. Halloween was too soon. “You don't have to tell me about anything right away, but it is okay to ask me whatever you want.” Billy did have the thought about Max being there too but for him he thinks it's best to keep all parts of the plan seperate for now.
