I turned off reblogs on the "I'm upset about the 2 week thing" post from friday.

Glitch put out a statement and while I'm still upset because this fandom is absolutely dogshit about spoilers (bc the core or my anger was always more towards this fandom and not goose or glitch, which I think was kind of poorly communicated on my end too), I'm genuinely way less upset now that I know that this was genuinely the best they could barter out and not the result of reckless planning, as it had originally felt like.

It actually almost physically opens up my chest a bit with room for appreciation for Glitch getting this opportunity, given the rampant elitism of the world of cinema.

I'm still gonna be a whiny pissbaby about having to bunker down for 2 weeks, but my anger is 100% directed towards fans who can't fucking stick to tagging and spoiler etiquette, and not Glitch who did what they could to compromise for us on a truly massive opportunity for indie animation.

Their statement very much helped. I'm so glad.
