Likely one of the best books I have ever read.

I am not a fan of autobi- or bi-ographies. There’s something about a third party interpretation that does not resonate with me.

However, @arun_gandhi- grandson of Mahatma Gandhi- has written a beautifully curated chapter book on Gandhiji’s basic life principles: to live with a clean mind, to live out the thoughts of your mind, and to live for something greater than yourself.

It is #ArunGandhi’s use of his childhood memories from his time at the ashram with Gandhiji that make learning and teaching the latter’s lessons (one per chapter for a total of eleven chapters) effortless.

Arun Gandhi admits to being a child with anger management problems. He admits his anger was destructive until one day in his childhood (age 12) his parents- of sage foresight - sent him to live at Gandhiji’s ashram in Sevagram, India. For two years Gandhiji taught him how to channel his anger for the purpose of good, and for the purpose of all.

Simple lessons taught simply. I cannot recommend this book enough
