Some Points about Will Solace
He’s not bad at archery - he’s not just not as good as his siblings. [It’s sort of like saying he’s the worst shooter in the Olympics, but he’s still in the Olympics]
He knows how to use a knife in close combat, but probably not a dagger or sword.
He’s not horrible at singing - he has to sing a bit to use his healing abilities, and his mother is an alt-country singer.
He has Apollo’s hair and eyes, but Naomi’s smile. He and Naomi share a similar expression when they’re nervous/anxious.
He was twelve when Lee died, thirteen when Michael died (and he became the new head counselor), fourteen when he delivered Mellie’s baby and watched Octavian catapult himself, and fifteen when Apollo fell to earth.
His healing abilities have never fully been explained - what they are, how they work, the affect they have on him, what would happen if he overused his abilities. It has never been explained if he does all his healing via his abilities or actually performs surgery on some people (such as when reattaching Paolo’s limbs).
He also may have limited abilities to manipulate emotions, or, at the very least, can instill calm in others.
He healed Annabeth during the Battle of Manhattan.
He was the owner of the flying chariot when Annabeth brought Leo, Piper, and Jason to Camp Half-Blood.
He has never been described as having freckles.
He is noted to be very quick. He outran six Romans. [Apollo won the first Olympic race, beating Hermes himself]
He is noted as being very clever.
He can use ultrasonics as a weapon. (Interesting that a healer would inherit the more deadly side of Apollo’s musical talent…)
He can be very stubborn and bossy - he has told both Nico and Apollo what to do without hesitation.
He pretty much told Octavian he was better than Octavian because he was a son of Apollo, while Octavian was just a descendant of Apollo. “I’m the son of Apollo, you anemic loser!”
He is very compassionate and friendly.
Percy knew him well enough to know both his first and last name during the Battle of Manhattan.
He dislikes stealing.
He lightly snores.
He was dubbed as ‘cool’ by Leo.
He literally stopped the Greeks and Romans from attacking one another with a whistle that made both sides pause long enough for Reyna to arrive with the Athena Parthenos.
Literally nothing is known about his life prior to the Battle of Manhattan other than the fact his mother was from Austin, Texas, and it’s assumed that was where he was born and raised for a bit.
He is a complex character with his own past, experiences, responsibilities, and regrets - he does not exist purely as ‘Nico’s boyfriend.’
What I’m getting from this on top of everything else is that Will might have a Texan country accent?!
