Dunno if anyone has gone into the neurobiology, but because haustoric implants go into the neck/base of the skull, the first area they have access to are the hindbrain and spinal cord. Dunno if this is an autistic thing, but i’ve become more and more frustrated by the fact I can’t think and feel emotions at the same time. Really fun fact time! So you may or may not know that the 13th amendment *abolished* slavery, and if you didn’t know that now you do.

The fascinating part if that it actually didn’t, in fact it’s perfectly legal if you’ve been “dually convicted of a crime”. This means that if you are arrested and imprisoned and are subject to a fair or unfair trial by the law, you can become a slave. it’s really that easy.

On that topic, how far away are you from a police officer? how quickly do you think a law enforcement agent could get to where you are? statistically you’re unlikely to be more than 30 seconds away from a road, and it means you could theoretically go from free to a constitutional slave in that amount of time.

On that topic, why do you think America has the single largest prison industrial complex in the world? 200 billion dollars of revenue annually just in the private sector (our prison complexes are upwards of 78% private btw). People being forcibly taken from their homes and shipped hundreds of miles away to a facility that works them to death without seeing a cent is….. happening right now.

abolishing prisons is not a crazy detached liberal idea, but the next difficult step in the fight to end slavery in the US
