Now that that’s outta the way.

This blog will follow the growth of Bunnyclan, based on the in-game interactions and random character generation in Clangen (by Sablesteel), so please forgive any potential plot holes or gaps. The rest in between will be written and filled by me!

I’ve felt heavily inspired by @/fallenclan, @/loudclan-clangen, @/bristleclanismissing, @/sporeclan, and the warrior cat world overhaul concepts done by @/bonefall. Please check them out for more cool warriors stuff.

Moon 4 and the first moon of green-leaf! Guess who’s back!! Got my laptop fixed and downloaded the newest update for clangen, so that means more bunnyclan!!! Starting off simple with this one while I get back into it. But I’m so excited to work on this again :3

Tuftedpaw doesn’t seem to be healing from her injuries, but I really hope they pull through. While I’ll never allow a disability to force a cat into the role of healer, it would suck for her to lose her sight so young. Hopefully Snailholly has made the proper herbal remedy for them. Yellowpaw seems to be struggling lately as well, although he hasn’t really shown much reason why yet.

Hi everyone. I have an unfortunate update.

My laptop that has my Bunnyclan save on it has died. So Bunnyclan is on hold until I can replace the battery in it.

I’m considering using my PC for a separate story, but that would mean probably rebranding this account to reflect the new story instead. I’m not sure yet, but I wanna say thank you for hanging out for the little bit of Bunnyclan I was able to play and share.

See ya for now, I may be back soon with something new :3

in all seriousness though, starclan not being the default for cats is intriguing! did he do something before the story began? or is starclan just very selective about who gets in?

mwahahAHAHA MY EVIL PLAN FOR THIS CLAN HAS BEGUN-

thank you so much, and ty for the ask!! I'll start first by saying I've always been kinda bothered by how Starclan in the books is basically just another clan/territory but up. The cats that live there are the same cats they were in life, able to talk to and contact pretty much whoever, whenever with rules I could never really understand because as far as I could tell the "rules" were for breaking.

Along with the fact that Starclan is mostly the cats we already knew about in life, there are/were no ancient ones or ancestors who go further back than only two or three generations IF we got that.

So my Starclan –renamed to Starpelt in reference to what the cats call the sky as a whole– is a singular entity made up of many cats.

Starpelt is a mass of every single thought, feeling, and life that once made up an individual cat. When one is deemed worthy and "enters Starclan" their soul is consumed into the ever growing deity that watches over the cats. They lose their own sense of self but become part of something much bigger.

It is considered an honor to become one with Starpelt to those who die. Most cats end up taking the journey through the Deep wood for a chance at it. The journey itself isn't something known by living cats, and often comes as a surprise to many who find themselves trapped in limbo rather than with the stars.

As for Rainspeck himself, no, he didn't do anything wrong. He just happened to die before making any kind of impression, so his spirit went to limbo. It's most likely what will happen with the majority of cats who die. Only nursing queens and kits get a free-pass.

tldr; Starpelt is an Entity that is created by every cat that enters it after death.

I have a lot planned for Starpelt and I'm excited to show you more through the comic :3

Something about Weaselstreak… I like them very much. They look very mischievous and a bonus is that their design is super cool!!

Thank youu!!! I LOVE the half n half sprites in game, so I was delighted when I rolled a founder with a split face! :3 here's some Weaselstreak facts no one asked for <333

• He/Him/His (for now mwahaha)

• He's Whistlenose's older brother

• He and his little brother were loners before joining Bunnyclan

• He joined because he felt it'd be safer for Whistlenose that way

• He had already been training Whistle, which is why he graduated so fast after joining. Weasel is really proud of that

• and I coded the starclan guide to be his and Whistle's in-game parent, so they're biologically related

I love him, I really hope he sticks around and has a fun arc. He's fun to draw and I'm very happy with his design!! :D

Starpelt, limbo, and the Deep wood

◇ Starpelt •

Starclan —rather than a starry hunting ground or mass of individuals— is a singular entity with an insatiable hunger for the very clans that reside within its domain.

She watches over each clan, equally doling out Their love and guidance to every cat, caring for them as if Her own kits. It doesn't necessarily speak only to healers or to leaders, He speaks to those who listen, or to those She thinks may someday be a star in Her fur. The wisdom, knowledge, and guidance of countless cats comes together within Her. When They speak, the living hear it as a song.

As kind and loving as She is, not many cats actually make it to His embrace upon death. Kits, apprentices, and queens who die during kit-birth are the only cats who get a "free-pass" to the stars. Otherwise, cats must earn their place in the sky beside Him, either by proving their worth during their life (i.e. saved many lives, fostered peace amongst the clans, gave up one's life for another, etc.) or by making the journey through both limbo and the deep wood after death.

○ Limbo •

The realm between stars and darkness. Despite the fact that there isn't much to say about limbo, many, many cats wake here upon their death. It serves as a holding place for cats who aren't ready to attempt the journey through the deep wood, never believed, or died outside of the knowledge of the clans. It's a gentle but strange and disorienting space, often leaving those who wander with no purpose to become faded and hollow versions of themselves. It isn't painful to stay, but one won't remain themself forever amongst the still space between.

□ The Deep wood •

Eerily dark, slimy, and twisted roots of trees reach high into the thick mass of trunks clawing at the sky. The deep crimson hue enough to drive any cat mad.

The Deep woods are outside of Starpelt's domain. His influence unable to reach into the gnarled and twisted branches. The cats that call this home are those that committed such terrible actions that they deserve no chance to find the embrace of Her stars. They’re stuck here, the rotting water they’re left to consume eventually twisting inside to burst out and destroy what’s left of the body, festering and consuming them right back. Here, cats become monsters.

The cats who traverse through limbo must make it through and out of the deep wood in order to live within the stars, but any cat who does is welcomed and loved. A very sought prize after the hardships the woods make you endure.

Not much I have to say, just starting with the current members of the clan. It’s both 0/1 moons because the ages are from the first moon, I didn’t feel like redoing em. BTW all the cats can have any prns for now but eventually I’ll add their preferred ones to their info bubbles :D
