“Great I’ll come with you and supervise” She smiled before remembering something she’d over heard and reaching over to slap his arm. “That’s for not telling me you and Ari were a thing”

“Trust me...I get it with the whole shitty parents thing. Hell mine didn’t even want me to begin with” she let out a short laugh before shrugging. “I dunno...like 5?”

“I didn’t forget… I just didn’t think it was important. I never really spoke to her in High School… So I really had never planned on ever speaking to her or telling anyone. I’m not really sure what changed honestly…” A small sigh. “Look, I can go to the station and set up some sand bags by the doors and stuff. Help with that to prevent any flooding if you want.”
“You’ve had a whole ass sibling this whole time and you didn’t thing it was important?” Raven scoffed, rolling her eyes at him. “So any other fun facts you want to share that aren’t important?” She crossed her arms over her chest before shrugging. “I think it’d be a good idea...give Grace peace of mind at least”

“And what you casually forgot to mention it to me, your best friend? What else are you keeping form me jerk?” She shoved his arm lightly. “Digging out the place, Grace is all worried about flooding too when it all starts melting since we’re in the lower part of the town”
“Hey, Rae, were you able to find out if you’re able to get a little bit of time off, or am I gonna have to bribe someone?”

Grey made his way between the people to get to Raven. Grabbing the blanket from her and draping it over his own shoulders. “Thank you, seriously. I’m practically attached to my girls at the hip right now. And all I can feel is one of them shivering every so often. This is awful.”
“Yeah it’s rough. I’m just glad I layered up before I left...I got a couple pairs of extra socks too if you want” Raven shrugged, tucking her hands into the hoodie pocket once she pulled the hood over her head.
With the power now out, Grey was doing everything humanly possibly to keep Eve and Nova safe and comfortable. Never in his life had he been in a situation like this, yes, he’d joked about it, but now with the power out and the school growing progressively colder by the minute, he was beginning to worry. Standing up from his spot, he looked around the room he’d been in for what seemed like the past week. “Anyone got an extra blanket or something?”
“Yeah...here Grey” Raven stood up and held out the blanket she’d been hoarding but not using just yet. She had made sure to wear several layers before they headed to the school for good measure, which was paying off now. “Get this on your girl and baby mama.”Â

“I’m fine Jer.” She murmured with a shrug, continuing to stretch, glancing out the window. “Not really much to catch you up on…just working and stuff, the usual” She added, offering a weak attempt at a smile
“After this whole mess is cleaned up, I’m taking a week off from work and I’m just gonna catch up on everything. TV shows, games, going out. You and I can go to that ice cream museum. We’re just gonna do a bunch of fun stuff, okay? Beats being stuck here and being reminded we were stuck here for days…”
“That’d be nice..I have to see if I can get time off and everything. But id like to” she sighed finally giving up on stretching as she turned to face him. “You know you don’t have to go cheering me up and stuff. I’m fine. Really.”

Jeremy couldn’t help but laugh at her comment, but he completely agreed with her, it was dramatic to say the least. “I’m with you on that.” Walking into the room further, he leaned against a wall. “How are you doing, really? I mean, I feel like I haven’t spoken to you in ages. And it makes me feel like an awful friend.”

“Huh?” Raven had been zoning out as she made use of the ballet bars to stretch, not realizing she wasn’t alone in the room until Jeremy spoke. “Oh yeah. I’m fine.” She shrugged a little, going back to stretching. “Little dramatic I think, forcing us all into this building but....”

Shaking her head, Grace sighed and rolled her eyes. She knew Raven was right, but she absolutely did not believe that there was going to be a storm, let alone one that bad. Thinking about being trapped in that school literally made her stomach turn, the only consolation being that Ambrose would be trapped there as well and there was more than a few places to sneak off to. Most of which Grace knew very well. “Fuck, I mean it’d be smart for the side business. With nothing much else to do I can guarantee we’ll sell out of drug and whatever booze we bring no matter what we sell it for. Shit, we might need to sneak in a couple extra suitcases if we think we can get them past Palmer.”
“If you distract her I can get them past her. I’ve never been close to being on her radar” Raven pointed out as she wrapped her arms tightly around herself with a soft sigh. “Plus...if I take a few more of these I can fit stuff in the pockets” She motioned to the large sweatshirt with a slight shrug. “Seems almost ironic though to cart that shit in his clothes.” She let out a humorless laugh before shaking her head and wandering over to grab herself a drink.

“Yeah, yeah....whole thing is still weird...I’ll pretend I’m not annoyed over the fact that he didn’t tell me himself” She muttered as she closed the book in her hands, not having taken in any of the words she read. “Well no. But I also don’t wanna be stuck here if the power goes out and shit. If it’s as bad as they say, the generators will only hold for so long” She murmured as she wandered over to Sulley’s room, lingering for just long enough to grab a hoodie and pull it on.Â
“Let them call all the fucking warnings they want, I’m not going. My house is stocked to shit and it’s basically a fortress, I’ll be fucking fine. That’s what fireplaces and shit are for.” The last thing she wanted was to be literally stuck in her old school with her old school mates, it was like one of her nightmares come to life.
“Grace...” Raven sighed as she looked up from the book she was reading with a roll of her eyes. “If it’s as bad as they say it’s going to be then we have to go. Jeremy wouldn’t be making this shit up. Plus he’d kick the door down and drag us both out” She pointed out dryly.
