🏒 Shane Hollander, star player for the Montreal Voyageurs, with an impeccable reputation both on and off the ice.
🏒 Ilya Rosanov, star player for the Boston Bears, infamous both on and off the ice, and with an irresistible Russian accent.
Shane Hollander was the wholesome, heroic love. Ilya Rosanov was the detestable rock star. They were polar opposites, according to any NHL analyst.
What no one knew about these rivals is that they've been seeing each other for years and it doesn't seem like they're going to stop.
I didn't expect how intense the story is, and all the time they spend seeing each other without making anything official or clarifying their feelings, it's crazy.
The truth is, the TV show does an incredible job because it's literally the book minus a few very subtle changes.
There is so much sacrifice and love throughout, and the plan they have to be able to be together more freely but still keeping their relationship as a secret, more so on Ilya's part, I mean, I think he sacrifices more in this first part at least.
