By Default is an experimental indie rock band from Miami, Florida, formed in 2006. Consisting of singer-songwriter and guitarist Carlos Villanueva and drummer Juan Monch, the band is noted for their musical experimentation melodic harmonies and innovative riffs, along with their unwillingness to conform to any particular music style.
