HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE<3333333 (and an extra special pride to all the sapphics who have never fully gotten over their first girl crush ever 🫡🫡) i originally wrote this poem over two years ago for a queer art zine that ended up not pushing through :")) since then, it's just kinda,,,,, stayed in my gdocs, but for this year's pride month, i decided that it deserves sunshine :3 hoping everyone has a wonderful month ahead !!! and may we keep fighting for a world where we no longer have to imagine loving someone in another life, and instead be able to live and love freely in this one < 3

been really trying to get into #hopecore since the new year!! just straight up living for the hope of it all and persisting and believing in the possibility of starting again and again and again despite going through The Horrors :^))

also really, really wanted to write about persephone<33 i had a lot of fun researching for this piece—especially looking into persephone and pomegranates, her sacred fruit. their symbolism of duality—representing life and death, abundance and barrenness, restoration and loss—just felt really poignant and resonated with me a lot !
