Another day another idiotic news. Snezhnaya vocals leaks dropped - songs are in russian, but singer isn't a native speaker... Their russian is good, but that's not native speaker. That's honestly insulting after they hired opera singer for parts when yun sings, mond hymn in german and furinas song in french... You would think that since it's songs they would hire native speaker... Well they could pander to ballet and make every single character look like they are from fontaine except for Alyosha (who's name compared to design sounds like snezhnaya is erasing local minorities wow just like in real ussr)
How honestly you can fuck up like that and not hire native speaker for SONGS , not voice overs, but songs? A lot of post ussr countries are still speaking russian and no, people usually don't have such dramatic regional accents, people from boonies don't talk like europeans speaking botched russian no matter how hard someone would ride that idiotic idea... Like you know, you can't pretend that english with indian accent is how people in uk talk in rural areas where indians aren't present
Even more insulting is to know that in arknights pogranichnik is voiced by russian native speaking man.....i remember being really surprised when hearing corny battle lines in russian...
