A UTMV AU (or AM) inspired by the likes of The Ancient Magus' Bride (2017), Soma (2015) and Annihilation (2016), "Multiverse TAU" is a story following a strange, sickly, newly-awakened magus called Abaddon Byrd in his attempts to claw his long-denied "happy ending" from the multiverse's hands. He can only do this, however, through an ill-fated contract with The King of Negativity — and in the process he gets caught in a catastrophic accident that triggers the slow, cancerous loss of his own humanity. Together, you and Abaddon will have to ask a question that many outcodes have failed to face:
Is it still a happy ending if "you" are no longer "you" when you reach it?
