swimprize.
❝ The point of celebrating the modern rendition is…It’s fun! ❞
To some at least, Natusya knew of one or two people who’d sing an entirely different tune about Halloween.
❝ That’s ok, if we don’t use everything up I can always give the rest to Sousuke or Rin for their place. ❞ The more Elvir resisted his offer, the more Natsuya persisted to slam any metaphorical escape doors in his face, one by one until nothing but a yes or no answer remained. Hand resting above the door frame, he loomed over slightly, flaunting his most convincing smile as bait.
❝ So, how about it? ❞
❝ I’ll toss in a few Halloween candies too, if you want them. ❞
“Fun,” Elvir echoed doubtfully.
He was not about to put up a fight just yet about this claim, but he certainly felt Natsuya’s rebuttal left much to be desired in the way of persuasion.
Still, in the relatively short time he had known his persistently outgoing neighbor, the Aasimar had come to expect some of his antics. He was sociable, simply put, and was especially keen on socializing with Elvir, a fact he could not entirely comprehend. But for as much as he attempted to skirt a definitive answer, the longer this exchange would draw out. That was simply a waste of energy.
“Tsk...”
Witheringly, Elvir shuffled towards his door and began unlocking it with a dry-toned, “Fine. Come in.”
