to be clear in my thinking this would only work in a completely nonsexual game, of course it Could have a function in some sort of porn game depending on the sorta porn youre going for but thats not really my idea here. this concept only works to me if its completely useless and unrelated & the protag isnt even sexualized even a little bit, otherwise i think it loses its charm. you just have to know about their penis and you have to wonder why the entire game and you have to try and figure that out until you realize theres no reason and youre just aware of their penis because the dev is probably fucked in the head or something like that. and then by that point youve reached the highest level of connection possible with a game developer aside from maybe ambushing them from behind and drinking all their blood until they die. and thats how we fix the gaming industry

As someone who doesn't know that much about Final Fantasy and has never played any of its entries, I have to ask
Why are there so many damn games in this series? Hell, why is it even a series in the first place?!
It's called FINAL Fantasy, there should have only ever been one game, THE Final Fantasy, the last one
And even worse, from what I understand, it's not just one big story, the games are mostly unconnected and take place in different universes entirely, aside from a few that are continuations of others
They made so many unrelated fantasies, and yet they all fail to live up to their name because none of them are the FINAL one, cuz they keep making more of these fuckin' things!
Imagine being the person who caused this, imagine going into work one day and saying "Hey, you know that massively successful game we made, Final Fantasy? What if we like, made another one?"
And instead of rightfully firing that guy on the spot for suggesting something so sacrilegious, they LISTENED to 'em and made a second game! Unbelievable!
Just another classic case of corporate greed ruining the artistic integrity of everything good just to milk it for all the money it's worth

What if at the end of Deltarune all the darkners were just allowed to come out at night?
Did anybody else think of this?? I feel like I’ve seen so many theories, but I’ve been thinking about it and what if they were all just allowed to live in the light world at night?
Is there a reason this wouldn’t be possible??? Genuinely asking, what about night time? I feel like it makes sense since they need darkness to live and take form

I don't think darkness in Deltarune quite works like that, as Ralsei's explanation of Dark Worlds implies that there's a difference between darkness, as in a lack of light where it's harder to see things, and Darkness, as in some kind of negative light that comes out of Dark Fountains and lets Dark Worlds take form
During the night, when sunlight isn't shining on everything (at least, not directly, cuz moonlight is just reflected sunlight but bleh), it's dark because there's less light for your eyes to see things with, and that makes objects harder to see, more indistinct, but they're still the same objects, that poster might look like it's moving, but if you got closer or squinted at it, you'd see that it's not, it's still just a poster, not a Darkner or anything
But Dark Worlds seem to rely on something stronger than that, they require that there isn't just less light to see with, or just no light at all, but even further, taking away the light that isn't there until you reach another side, another "light" in the form of Darkness, a literal opposite of light that lets you see the "illusion" that is Darkners and Dark Worlds, and from what we know so far, the only way to get Darkness is by opening a Dark Fountain to fill a room with the stuff and make it into a Dark World, not just from a place being dark
It's kinda like Determination in UT, what's normally just a state of mind that's now a physical substance that can be extracted and injected into people and lets you persist after death, both are taking more conceptual things to fantastical extremes, that kid can't die because they're really REALLY determined, and this classroom looks like something completely different because it's really REALLY dark
I do think your idea has some merit though, so far both times we've seen a Dark Fountain be opened, it was in a room that was already pretty dark (though they were also both made late at night and we know that's not a requirement), so like, maybe you could make a Dark Fountain outside at night?? Not sure if it'd be able to make a Dark World though, as even if it only goes to a limited area around the fountain, that'd still probably be a lot more light to replace with Darkness than a single dark room would have, and even if it did work, it might get sealed when day comes by the light from the sun, like how the light from Kris' Soul can seal fountains
