Caregiver Izuku Midoriya Headcanons

With a puppy-like regressor, for anon

Izuku is a very high-energy caregiver! there are some days he’s happy to flop together, but he usually wants to put his all into taking care of you

enjoys tickle fights or playwrestling, rolling around together on the floor: raspberries on your tummy, scooping you up laughing

at the same time, he’s always careful with you: he’s quick to get a hand up to protect your head if the pair of you roll too close to a wall or a table

he’s not the best cook, but he can manage the simple dishes, and he’s always stocked up on snacks for you

definitely has a caregiver blog online, where he collects tips and activity lists that he wants to try with you

always excited to see you again, even if he’s only been in the kitchen for five minutes

will sit and colour with you, but starts to mumble under his breath if he gets too into it and zones out

remembers everything that you mention off-handedly as a favourite or a nice idea

enjoys having scheduled time with you, as well as being good about fitting his schedule around bad days if you need him, and busy days if you have schoolwork

gets very excited about buying you new toys: he likes to go together to the store, and has you touch every single thing on the self to make sure you choose the perfect one (or two… or three)
