Just finished watching Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender and all I can say is… it was pretty fucking awesome! While there are a few minor things I disliked about it, I consider it to be a great film overall (I give it a 4.5/5 star rating or a 9/10). To be honest, there was a point in the middle of the film where I felt like I wasn’t going to like it but ultimately did. Though it doesn’t measure up to the original series (nothing compares the original in my opinion, and I’m generally not a fan of sequels, spinoffs, reboots or revivals; however, there are a few exceptions), Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender is a true cinematic masterpiece of animation and a worthy successor to Avatar: The Last Airbender. It has earned its place in the Avatar Legends franchise and has made me ready to fully watch and give The Legend of Korra a real chance, but not before I watch the movie again.
