  Proton’s mouth fell open, then shut once more as apparent shock cycled across his face. It was clear he wasn’t used to having his threats deflected so casually. He drew his lips into a scowl, then placed his hands upon his hips. 

"Wow, wow. I’m sorry I’m such a boring burglar,” His tone was bitter, dripping with something not unlike anger, but bordering more on offense. “So tell me, how would I be interesting? If I slit your throat and let you bleed out all over that pretty hair of yours? Red would be a good color on you.”

"Ah? Pardon? I'm a little drowsy from listening to you ramble on."

With a small smile, Caitlin yawned and resumed to keep her gaze narrowed. 

"Although, red is a pretty color, but I fit more into a more lively pink, wouldn't you think? It does match my eyes after all."

 Well, now. There’s a face he’s always glad to see even when eyelids lowered over irises that still had slumber lingering over them. A hand pressed against his chest softly while he bowed his head to the young woman.

    —”Ꮦhe princess finally awakens once more to grace us with her presence. I wondered when you would be up. I trust you had peaceful dreams.”
