My Debut Book!
My debut book, “Harnessing Darkness: Expressing Mental Illness Through Poetry” has already achieved the following:
#1 New Release on Amazon in the Gay & Lesbian Poetry category
#1 New Release on Amazon in the Death, Grief, & Loss Poetry category
“Harnessing Darkness” traces the struggle of living with mental illness. Through sections aptly titled Birth, Life, Death, and Rebirth, Caleb Woods gives readers the experience of what it’s like to live in the mind of someone who struggles with a roller coaster of emotions on a daily basis. Caleb chooses to open the doors of his mind, allowing you to see not only the dark, but the light. Caleb lets each nightmare, depressed thought, and abundance of anxieties come to the surface with harrowing and hopeful poems about the struggles of living with mental illness and growing up gay in the Bible Belt. Experience loss, pain, heartbreak, and hope with “Harnessing Darkness.”

I’m high rn and I just experienced pure joy
I went to a Q&A seminar with Antoni and Karamo and they told us that at Queer Eye auditions Jonathan literally ran from room to room yelling “WHERE IS SHE” over and over again and while everyone assumed it was about the casting director or something it was, in fact, about a Starbucks cup he’d lost, and I need you all to know that Jonathan lives on maximum 24/7. He is a force that cannot be contained
Pansexuality explained through elaborate wine metaphors, courtesy of the show Schitt’s Creek (context, the two of them slept together the night before, but Stevie, the first one to speak, had always thought David, the one looking at wines, was gay)

when you’re at a family gathering having a good time but you feel the existential crisis about to hit ya
i’m the person who ducked
I’m the mom who didn’t do nothing
I’m the man in the vest who drove the drone into his family
I’m the drone
and i’m miss thing in the green taking the fucking drone straight to the face
The worst trick a childhood anxiety disorder pulls is, you spend your early years being applauded for being so much more mature than your peers, because you aren’t disruptive, you don’t want any kind of attention, you don’t express yourself, you keep yourself to yourself - this makes you a pleasure to have in class, etc etc - and you start to believe it’s virtue. But you’re actually way behind your peers in normal social development, and who knows if you can ever catch up.
Never heard a truer thing in my life.
holy shit wait you mean being just morbidly terrified of doing anything wrong ISN’T necessarily the same as being “well behaved?!”
Convenient children =/= healthy children
Convenient children do not equal healthy children
One of the psychologists who treated me described me as a “pathologically well-behaved child”
y’all are really out here acting like having over 60 marvel characters in one movie is a good idea
