Dungchen
A dungchen (དུང་ཆེན།) is a long Tibetan horn used in Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies. It is the most widely used instrument in Tibetan Buddhist culture and the sound is sometimes compared to the singing of elephants. Enjoy some dungchen playing in the video below:
Dorje / Vajra
Dorje (རྡོ་རྗེ) is the Tibetan word for the vajra (वज्र), literally meaning thunderbolt in Sanskrit. The dorje is a ritualistic weapon— to be specific, a double-headed club— that symbolizes the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force).
In Buddhism, the dorje is the symbol of Vajrayana, one of the three major schools of Buddhism. Vajrayana is often translated as “Thunderbolt Way" or “Diamond Way”, implying that the experience of Buddhist enlightenment is akin to a lightning strike or enduring like a diamond. Tibetan Buddhism is a branch of Vajrayana Buddhism. In Tibetan Buddhist rituals, the dorje symbolically represents creativity, potency, and skillful activity within physical reality.

I love Matilda because it's a story about a child who sees injustice around her and gets mad about it and questions why things aren't fair, and instead of the ending being that she learns how the world works and that life isn't fair, she catapults one of the adults who abused her out of a building with her mind
"i feel besquintled", said no one ever. because that's not a word.
okay nevermind it IS a word now and this is exactly what it means.
EVERYONE SHUT UP AND LOOK AT THIS NEW AND BETTER WORD
I must sleep. Sleep is the mind-healer. Sleep is the big-life that brings total ability to fucking do anything. I will face my bed. I will permit the blankie to pass over me and snores to pass through me. And when sleep has gone past I will turn the outer eye to greet the new morning. When the sleep has gone there will be everything. Energy and will to live will remain.
